Quote I got online was not what I paid, even opting for the additional insurance. There were hidden fees that were not obvious to me. Paid much more than expected. The front seat was stained when we picked it up. Chocolate? I hope that was all it was.Reviewed Nov 20 2025

I booked a Tesla or similar EV but they were completely out of EVs so I got a worn out beat up Mazda instead. Not even close to a Tesla. Could have at least gotten an upgrade for the inconvenience of not having any EVs but instead I got to downgrade.Reviewed Nov 20 2025

They could not find our reservation and told us we needed to make a new one. They could not honor the price and we paid 3x more than our original price. They said it's a communication issue between Kayak and the local car rental company Budget/Unidas. It is very frustrating to plan and and face this inconvenient & expensive 'surprises' on the spot. I didn't like that they didn't have the car I rented or any electric. The trip cost me $50 more because I would have been able to charge the electric very inexpensively at my house. I had to have a gas car. It was nice of them giving me a slightly better car but I didn't like that it didn't have windows I could put down if I wanted.Reviewed Nov 18 2025

All went smoothly picking up car as Budget is just outside airport exit. When I returned the car the Budget representative had a quick walk around the car, checked fuel was full and said all looks good. None of the normal pointing out marks that were already on the car and me having to pull out my photos from pickup to prove damage was already on the car. Good Experience . Will be booking with Budget in future until I have a bad experience.Reviewed Nov 17 2025
