I asked the person about the military discount and was told there was one and she called someone and asked how much was it. She then did the paperwork and said she forgot to put it on but would fix the paperwork and would refund the difference which of course was a lie and didn’t!Reviewed May 18 2023

Staff was great!! Exterior of vehicle was dirty and interior interior smelled like cigarette smoke. Vehicle had over 52,000 miles and showed signs of wear and tear.Reviewed Mar 9 2023

Three days, 3 cars…first car wobbled with accelerated speed. Took it back. Second car smelled of weed. Got it annotated but in interest of time took it. Car later left me stranded with key fob warning light and car would not start. Budget serviced and had to go to another outlet to exchange cars. Each time car was progressively larger and ended up in a Ford Explorer. So while customer service supported me, was hugely inconvenienced and to add insult had to pay more for gas than I had wanted with original booking.Reviewed Feb 13 2023

Counter agent and support staff were helpful and patient as we switched thru to the 3rd vehicle before we were able to leave 1:15 later. 1st small SUV had a near bald front left tire. I knew we were going to have it for weeks so that was not acceptable in Winter driving. 2nd small SUV had Tire Pressure Alert on. Did not want to deal with that for weeks. We would have taken it if the support staff could have defeated it with adding air, but they did not have the means to add air. 3rd vehicle was acceptable, but disappointing being the most econo-plain of the 3--Mitsubishi Outlander Sport.Reviewed Jan 10 2023

Waited one hour and 45 minutes for car to be available. Then key fob did not work. Finally, two hours later received a downgrade because it was the only vehicle available but was charged the same. Will never deal with Budget again!Reviewed Oct 16 2022

I rented a car with budget through Kayak. I picked the car up at GSP airport. The car itself was fine except it had a crack in the windshield upon pick up. The man at the pickup counter was nice and had me out the door faster than i'ver experienced with a rental car company. Now I see the HORRIBLE mistake with this. I arranged to drop the car off at the Atlanta airport, and when I arrived to the budget drop off they could not find my reservation in the system. He told me to take it to avis, that is was an avis rental. (Nope, its definitely a budget rental). I go to Avis and they say "no this is a budget rental, we can't take it". So I tell them the guy over there wont take it either and directed me here. I was then prompted to an empty counter, and I had to track down an employee to help. About 2 hours later I finally spoke with who I presume is a manger, and she could not help me other than to accept the car back into the companies inventory (Avis and Budget are apparently the same company). As it turns out, the man at GSP did not close out the rental on their end. I was directed to call the GSP airport back and speak with them to have them close it. I cannot get ahold of anyone at GSP or anywhere in customer service to resolve this issue. I have no clue what to do from here. No one will get back to me. This has been a horrible experience and I will never be renting from them again.Reviewed Sep 19 2022

The only issue I had was when I tried to change the pickup time due to a plane gettin late it was IMPOSSIBLE!!! I called so many different people and kept getting passed around with no help whatsoever. But the pickup went extremely well. The staff in Greenville/Spartanburg were extremely nice and helpful and that process went amazingly wellReviewed Jul 20 2022
