Inside of windshield was smudge wiped, even with AC front defrost it was smeared that I had to pull over and wipe with some clean socks. Wipers need replacing asap, rained and could not see. Next day I tried to wash and there was no water, completely empty. Read camera was dirty and couldn’t see when in reverse. I did report to MCI Budget. I’m not a complainer and let small things go but this was extremely bad.Reviewed Jun 21 2026

The car wasn't especially clean. The auto drive was disabled due to how the last driver operated the car. One of the reasons I went with the more expensive Tesla was that I could try out the auto drive. Also, there wasn't a sufficient adapter in the car to charge it at my destination. Worst experience ever. They let me rent a car one-way and provided me with a confirmation number. When I showed up, they told me they wouldn’t rent me a car one-way, and I was left stranded. Terrible customer service.Reviewed Jun 21 2026

The car was fine, but the staffing of the rental counter was horrific. I walked up there and it was the only counter that had a line. The other rental car companies had very short or no lines. It took one hour of standing in line until I got up to the counter. I complained and the lady said, "yesterday the line was 3 hours." She said it in a way I guess to make me feel better or lucky. All it did was reinforce how poorly run the Pittsburgh International Airport Avis/Budget counter it. If you regularly have long lines then you need to adjust how you run your business. Never again will I rent from them when flying through Pittsburgh and I'll be very hesitant to rent from them period. Why risk having to wait 1-3 hours?Reviewed Jun 19 2026
