The location is good, near puerto madero The hotel doesn´t have the indoor pool, as shown in the website
Hotel architecture and style. Price was very attractive for the hotel level. Breakfast is really simple. The rooms should have at least a desk. Although the hotel is called Unique Madero, it was not really in Puerto Madero as the name suggests. It is close but not quite there.
te hotel is new, the bed is very confortable and everything is cleaned. The breakfast could be better. The bathroom get wet after the shower.
new accomodations, everything beautiful and white rooms do not have a table to work and do not have a chair, so it is not a business hotel. Internet is not free, it is really expensive/ The breakfast is pour, only one kind of fuit juice, no cheese, no eggs, no ham,. only bread, cake and butter. Hot water it is not easy to control, you can burn your skin easily.
Excellent level of comfort in room, great value for money
Good location, helpful staff, reasonably comfortable room, large bed, pool, patio. Hot water was not working on a few afternoons. Breakfast was not great, but there are several good breakfast places nearby.
Good location. Congratulation Nice friendly people
Excellent staff with great attention to detail. Great rooms and design throughout. One of the best hotels in the world ! None.
Although the room was small, it has a comfortable bed and the design is very nice The room didn't had a frigobar
We were transferred to this hotel as our original hotel was overbooked so it's hard to say whether this was a better hotel but it was a lovely hotel and the rooms were large and comfortable.
Friendly staff, amazing decor nothing
The staff were wonderful - very helpful, friendly and attentive. And the location is superb (but still quiet)
It has a perfect location on Plaza Dorrego. Great for the market and tango on Sundays. Close to attractions and downtown. Modern clean design, comfortable. Helpful staff. The bathroom was tiny.
Helpful front staff. Beautiful, stylish rooms. Stay included breakfast. Good value for money. Only thing would be that my room didn't have an alarm clock - but the front desk gave me a wake up call anyway.
The location is absolutely excellent and service was excellent. Outside's plenty of restaurant and bars and smalll little shops around. Plenty of good food and good entertainment. The deck on the rooftop was excellent to use for winding down your day.
It was above any expectation that i had. Living in Buenos Aires before in San Thelma great addition to the neighborhood. Staff very intentive to my every need transportation to hotel to ordering food in. Rooms beautiful and very clean and thought for any buisness or personal stay. Love it. Will recommend to friends and family. Thank you.
Excellent location Noisy room
Everything about my stay in Telmho Hotel Boutique was fantastic. Great staff. Ariel, Max and Pablo were fantastic. They really made coming home at the end of the very nice. The San Telmo markets were right in front of the hotel. The room I had was perfect. In front facing the Plaza Dorrego, very clean with the bathroom on one level and the bed in the loft.
Staff was very helpful in making our short time in Buenos Aires more enjoyable. Location was excellent.
good location, friendly staff, very very nice hotel. Would definitely stay again! nothing to complain
Location was great, staff was helpfull and the room were great.
The Telmho has possibly the best location in Buenos Aires, on Plaza Dorrego, at the very heart of Buenos Aires' historical district. The rooms are well equipped and confortable. The staff has been excellent - very helpful and friendly. Being at the heart of what is possibly the liveliest neighbourhood in the city, there is quite a bit of noise, so do take ear-plus if you expect a good night sleep. The action on the square goes on until the early hours of the morning, followed by the cleaning services. By the time they've finished, the hotel starts serving breakfast. And you do hear all this - particularly if you get room 101.
Helpfull and friendly staff, strategic location, nice and clean room None
The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and plentyful. Good location in San Telmo. Our room was small and didn't have windows, so the air got sticky pretty quickly.
The staff were great especially Mateo and Jaun. They helped us with booking things online as most was in spanish and were always there for a chat and a laugh. If you like live entertainment Mateo has all the tips, We went to see Fuerza Bruta, amazing experience, a feast for the senses and the drumming show was great. Mateo can show you where to go for real Tango not the stuff served up to the tourists. Great location in San Telmo and for dinner, drinks, or coffee and dessert you must go to Don Ernesto's on Calvo Castro. Great food, great steak(found the rest in B/A a bit over rated) and the staff are fantastic especially the Big Crazy Russian...lol. Very comfortable rooms although could have used a small bar fridge for your water. Nicely designed bathrooms although no practical place for your washing gear.(toothbrush,etc). Be careful if you use the toilet in the courtyard as the glass is see through and all is on show....lol
The staff were excellent; very helpful for tourist activities and arranging tango shows I thought the price was high for the size of the rooms
The friendly and helpful staff and the style of the hotel made it a real pleasure to be there.
Wonderful design and location; friendly and helpful staff. recommended!
Boutique hotel with 9 rooms in a great location in San Telmo! Plaza Dorrego is just around the corner with outdoor cafes and street performance tango dancers. Easy to walk to many places and inexpensive taxis everywhere. Very knowledge staff to help you plan your sightseeing days. Rooms are minimalist, but functional with free WIFI, and a simple breakfast is included.
Hotel Babel is a wonderful place to be at in Buenos Aires. It offers a relaxed atmosphere in the centre of the city. San Telmo is a great place to be and offers a good start for the rest of the city. The rooms are excellent , as are the staff. Very good breakfast. One of the best value for money hotels we have been. nothing
Although the hotel has just opened, the staff are very friendly and helpful - rooms are clean and quiet. We would stay there again.
The staff is terrific! They are welcoming, attentive to guest needs, friendly and helpful. The decor is understated and elegant with lots of lovely wood. My room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is located in an interesting and convenient part of town. The breakfast is excellent including fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order. Lighting in room/bathroom not good for applying makeup. Minor complaint.
Soft and comfortable bed. Wifi connexion. Quiet. Nice staff Poor breaksfast choice ( fruits but no salad fruit)
Excellent place; convenient and safe district; extremely helpful and pleasant staff; very comfortable rooms even though quite small. Wish we had found this hotel on our first visit to BA. Nothing, though I imagine that rooms at the front (over the road) would be noisy from the traffic
The beds were comfortable, and it was a nice little area to explore during a one night stay in Buenos Aires. The breakfast could be a little better
Stayed here because our accom was overbooked, was a good find. Staff spoke good english and were helpful in finding places of intrest. Breakfast was good, if a little on the sweet side. Nice fresh fruit, good coffee, only thing it lacked was fresh eggs to order. If you stay here you must eat at Don Ernesto's on Carlos Calvo near the Plaza, excellent food, value for money, Great steak, and the staff are awesome, especially the Crazy Big Russian... the main road is a little noisy so ask for a room at the back. Although in San Telmo the main road looks a little dodgy though we had no problems, felt safe walking around even at night.
The hotel is cheap and it is very good value for money . It islocated at the limit of the San Telmo, so it's situation is not bad, though on a noisy boulevard, if you plan to leave your windows open. The rooms are tiny and not very clean
Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, free internet, good but fairly basic breakfast, friendly staff, handy location (San Telmo; not Puerto Madero as stated), bus stop outside, close to eateries. Room very small, not much room to store luggage, shower curtain (hard to keep water off floor), somewhat erratic replacement of towels and toiletries (often had to ask but received promptly), internet was not working 3 days out of 7. Transfer is just a radio taxi. Cheaper to book the one you take from the airport for your return trip. Area a bit scruffy.
The hotel staff, in particular the manager, Maria Jimena were absolutely five star quality in their desire to make us feel welcome. I have already recommended this property to other colleagues who travel to Buenos Aires. In spite of a mix up with our room type for the first two days of the stay, we found this to be a very positive experience and will return later this year to the same property. The street the hotel is located on looks a little rough around the edges, however, there are police on the corners at night and the hotel has very good security.
The most comfortable bed we have ever slept in! Very nie looking lobby and bar area, and an outside area with greenery. Room was small but we were got upgraded to a bigger room at the same price as we were staying a few days. Staff were very helpful and friendly, great showers, very clean room. Also gay friendly, not a problem for us at all though we were clearly a couple. Only thing disappointing was the breakfast which was definately not 4 star and was the same bread-based (and slightly burnt) every day.
The reception staff were excellent & very helpful. The outdoor area by the pool was very relaxing & private, a little oasis in the middle of the city!
Good location and friendly staff. The sound isolation between rooms could have been better. You could hear the cleaning of rooms way down the hall at 7.30 and people checking out (not to talk about people getting back fromt own around 3).
Good wifi (free). Clean rooms. Very friendly staff
I was on a business trip in Buenos Aires. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful, also with a good English knowledge, what allowed me to concentrate on my work and forget about the everyday routine. My best wishes to Tatiana! P. S. They arranged a late check out, fed me and let me stay in the lobby with the Internet and TV till midnight while I was waiting for a taxi to the airport :) Thank you very much!
Great Hotel, Good price, good location No
I don't recommend this hotel. Our room was dirty and noisy. The staff couldn't help us in anything, first the were trying speak portuguese, as soon as I complained about our dirty room, they didn't know portuguese any more. I will never come back.
helpful staff thin walls head neighbors talking
The suite has a wonderful view of a church. The hotel is in a quiet side street and San Telmo is a nice neighbourhood to stay, not too busy.
Location is great, nearby bars and tango shows in San Telmo. Only 4 blocks away from puerto madero. Rooms are a little run down. The pictures of the hotel are probably 4 years old.
