8.3 Excellent
Pros: very helpful staff, excellent atmosphere in and of the Old Town of Cadiz. Central and 10 mins walk to everywhere. Great rooftop area to take your drinks to; easy parking close by.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Hotel is renovated 18th century home with lots of historical charm balanced with modern comfort. Stayed couple of nights in room 106 which has window overlooking street, but not noisy. Plenty of space for two people. Bed comfy with nice linens. Bathroom very clean, good lighting, and nice shower. Cadiz had hot weather during our stay and room efficiently cooled with air conditioning. Enjoyed breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon & cafe con leche. Located in the Old Town near cruise ship docks. Met at door by hotel staff who gave easy parking directions after we unloaded luggage. Paid about 8 euros per day at open secure lot. Hotel location perfect to explore the sites and wander around many pedestrian streets. Easy to find delicious tapas and drinks. Usually book room for less than $150 per night in Spain. This was last minute trip over holiday weekend and this boutique style hotel was worth the higher price!! Every person we met was friendly and helpful.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great city very much worth a visit...
9.6 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very good location in a historic part. Walking distance to all tourists attractions. Very nice view from the balcony. Nice windows making open space in between balcony and room.
Cons: Very cold water in the swimming pools. Very poor quality breakfast. One need to be prepare to pay for the parking - it is not possible to park on the free of charge parking spaces. The cheapest parking is behind the hotel 14 EUR per day or in the hotel 17 EUR per day.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Close to the sea.
Cons: Poorly designed, shabby, tired and badly executed. Tries to hard with gimmicks without getting the basics rights. Dirty carpets, awkward rooms, little storage, cluttered. Our shower door was broken and not fixed. No privacy in bathrooms. Loud, echoey, noisy dining rooms. Lighting poor. Don’t park at the hotel. Cheaper next door.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location, sadly the bed was too hard.
Cons: Not much other than the bed.
7.0 Good
Pros: Overall good value for money, nice views
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Room and leisure facilities excellent. Outdoor pool fabulous
Cons: Breakfast very average
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very rich and tasty buffet breakfast. Great location on the beach and close to the historical sites in the old city.
Cons: The setting of the bathroom is very innovative in concept and design but utterly inconvenient: It does not allow privacy - the sliding glass door to toilet cannot be fully shut as it slides back when closed and leaves a 3 cm opening. The 2 wash basins which I persume were installed to allow 2 people to wash simultaneously are each of the sizeof a Salad bowl. When in use water splashes all over the a big puddle outside the closet wash area. The water from the bath tub created a big puddle on the floor outside the closet making a big mass.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Short walk to the centre of Cadiz. Beautiful views out over the sea towards the lighthouse. The building and bedrooms are ultra modern and really do take your breath away. On arrival, the fridge in our bedroom didn't work. We reported this to reception on our way out for a walk. By the time we returned it had been replaced!
Cons: nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is located on a quiet street of the old town within the proximity of all the attractions. Our room, "Morocco", was tastefully decorated in a Moroccan style. There were three of us so they gave us a family room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. It worked out fine for us. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. It had a good-size bathroom. The owners who are world travellers are very nice and hospitable. They recommended us a few very good restuarants, which served really good seafood. There was a carpark about 5 min walk from the hotel. Breakfast was served in a cafe around the corner.... good service. Highly recommend.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The variety of foods for breakfast was great, and custom coffee service was a plus. I don't usually get lattes for breakfast. The 7:30 breakfast was good for me, as I'm up early and many hotels have later breakfasts. The room was clean and quiet, and the location was perfect for walking around the historical centre.

Casa Nautilus Cadiz - Cadiz - Building
9
8.8 Excellent (1,039 reviews)
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Casa Nautilus Cadiz in Cadiz (Old Town), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Cadiz Cathedral and Torre Tavira. Featured amenities include a business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location in centre of city close to all attractions. Friendly helpful staff. Nice little lounge area with tea and coffee facility.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable, and extremely squeaky every time you moved. Additionally we were in a ground floor room which was next to the main door. This was noisy all night, people talking outside of our room and the door slamming shut. The street outside could be heard too. The bed and location of the room meant we hardly slept for 3 nights. We spoke to the reception staff who were very helpful and tried to find an alternative room but there was nothing appropriate available.
7.5 Good
Pros: It was very central for exploring Cadiz. It was on a fairly quiet street (no one escapes the Spanish bin men at 2 in the morning!). The room was compact but the bed and shower were fine. All the staff were friendly.
Cons: Apart from the bed there were two chairs and a table in the room. The chairs were wooden and uncomfortable and consequently we didn't use them. So, more comfortable chairs!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was in the centre as we had hoped and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We also liked the atmosphere of the surroundings.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, big room, clean, free welcome drink and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend this place.
Cons: Beds were squeaky, but that’s the only negative thing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: There is no beating the value for money here! Punches well above its weight for the price. Spotless, basic but adequately appointed single room with private shower. Fantastic WiFi!
Cons: Frequent, automated check-in messages before arriving were a bit of a pester! Then when I tried to use it, it was not optimised for mobile and there was no option to have it in English. A lot of noise from the plumbing/drains on the higher floors.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious, comfortable and clean. The hostal is also well located, but in a calm and silent street. It had everything we needed and communication with the staff was easy and fast. Recommend it 100%!

Pros: great little apartment in Cadiz perfectly located in the old town. Would have been comfortable to stay there longer if we'd had the chance!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location, tastefully developed. Nice roof terrace
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location - on the doorstep of bars, restaurants and interesting places.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location facilities and lovely outside space
Cons: Street noise at night but then it is a city
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Every thing else was great. Like being at home
Cons: Only negative is and more of personal taste is to change coca cola photo in flat 2b maybe with picture of Cadiz and also add sugar sachets for coffee
6.3 Good
Pros: Very clean apartment. Well located.
Cons: The bed was hard and extremely uncomfortable. So noisy in the street below that we could not sleep (not fault of the apartment).€
6.7 Good
Pros: It is a beautiful building, the entrance and hall are very nicely decorated. When I had a problem with the shower the owner came right away to fix it and offered me a bottle of wine to make up for the inconvenience. I REALLY liked the vegetarian and fish tapa's in their restaurant. The meatdishes were not so good unfortunately.
Cons: I had apartment 1A and it was extremely noisy. It is the apartment on the streetside (close to a bar-area) on the first floor right above the restaurant. Because of the (beautiful) open construction, there is no seperation between the apartment and the restaurant. I could almost follow every word of customers and when the restaurant closed there was a lot of noise cleaning up, with glass, shouting, moving tables. During day and night loud music was played in the restaurant which was also loud in my room. It took until 01.00 after midnight for the noise to stop and the garbagetrucks came to empty the glasscontainers at 07.00 in the morning (right under the window of the apartment).
7.5 Good
Pros: Loved the location. Spacious studio apartment, very stylish. Nice big comfy bed, small bathroom but big shower. Good outside space. Helpful daily maid. Plenty of storage space. Full size cooker and fridge plus washing machine. Supermarket very handy round corner. My favourite tapas bar just round corner in square.
Cons: Desperately uncomfortable little sofa. Full size cooker but not the cooking equipment to facilitate cooking we found so although we love to visit market and buy food to cook we were rather limited. No water or wine as advertised in details of apartment, but cleaning materials provided.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful appartement for the price and very well located.
Cons: Unfortunately the bed was very uncomfortable and the shower was almost cold for both showers.

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
6.3 Good
Pros: Enjoyed the balcony in the junior sweet.
Cons: Extremely slow check in and check out and not because of the the only receptionist who was working at through out the day. The process just seems badly organised. Place looks sad. Needs a touch up a lot of areas. Definitely not 4 stars and not for that price. First place on the massive holiday through south west coast of Spain which disappoint me. Played loud music, can hear in the room,in the bar until midnight. Not here to socialise but enjoy peace and comfort.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Had a swim up room which was a good size
Cons: I don’t think that this hotel rates a four star a bit jaded. Reception staff not friendly as soon as we arrived they told us about extra payments for facilities but no welcome greeting. Although we had a large room I set of bedside lights not working and broken tiles on terrace. Good adult pool but no pool towels as shown in booking.com pictures also bathroom towels very worn. We won’t be returning to this hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: How close it was to the beach
Cons: The limited options for food if your not into Buffett
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The spa thalasso therapy circuit is excellent! The hotel is huge, plenty of families, but everything is well organised and flows very well. The kids’ club works wonderfully; my 4 years old daughter loved it. The food is quite good, and reasonably priced, as well as drinks. We particularly enjoyed dinning at the beach club. The beach is 3 minutes away (nonetheless, the hotel is not “beach front”, as we expected)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice hotel, clean and spacious. Friendly staff. Close free parking near by.
Cons: No breakfast room service
7.5 Good
Pros: The spa was nice, but you have to book a slot in advance, it’s extra 22EUR. The kids club is great- my kids loved it. The rooms were very nice and all with terrace.
Cons: The hotel interior and the swimming pool a little outdated. The hotel is far from the city centre so if someone likes going out at night, this isn’t the best location. The terrace furniture not like in a 4* hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent 10 days in this hotel in the end of September and are very satisfied with the stay. The hotel is clean, staff is nice and the variety of meals is good. It’s a good choice for families as the hotel has a swimming pool for kids, mini-club and small playground. We recommend it.

Pros: Breakfast was fine. Very nice inside, but expensive compared to others.
Cons: Hotel is a little old and the facia is damaged. Didn't realise it was so far from the old town, although that may be my fault in not checking
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing I didn't like.
8.3 Excellent

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was superb at the walking street! And the parking hall was near, so we did not have to carry our heavy suitcases long way. Minimercado and pastery was also near. And the terrace at our penthouse was great!
Cons: Maybe a small grill at the penthouse terrace would have been also great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great 2 bed appt, spotlessly clean and very comfortable within a lovely building. Fantastic location for exploring Cádiz. Parking was available very close by. Jacqueline who met us on arrival was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: A second bathroom would’ve been great as we were 2 couples staying in a 2 bed appt and a more comfortable sofa would’ve been nice but don’t let this put you off a fab place.
10.0 Excellent

Pros: this was my third stay at pension Espana.I cannot imagine better value for money anywhere. There can be problems with noise disturbance but that depends on the behavour of guests and street life. The location is probably as quiet as one csn get in a town centre.
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place is perfect from location to the building itself, we loved it. The building is absolutely charming and spotless. We only could get a shared washroom option, but it was no issue due to the multiple facilities available on each floor. The location is super central. Like 10-15 minute walk tot he beach and right in the heart of town. Don't question yourself - just stay here.

Cons: N/A
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Right in the heart of the beautiful old town.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the location of the hotel within the narrow streets of the old city of Cadiz. It was also very near to restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel staff were friendly and the hotel itself was very comfortable. The roof terrace was superb.
Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. My room was small but very comfortable, spotlessly clean and sound-proofed - which meant great sleep! Great shower. The roof bar is fab, loved it.
Cons: Breakfast buffet wasn't great. The lady serving breakfast was lovely and kept the place spotless and the cook-to-order omelette was pretty good - but the buffet itself was poor and not worth the extra I paid to go B&B.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location close to the edge of the old town so we didn’t have to negotiate too much driving round the narrow streets and ended up straight at the car park where the attendant took the keys and parked the car. The hotel is also close to the railway station. There is some character to the building, a beautiful entrance hall and stairs. The rooftop terrace gives good views over the town.
Cons: The breakfast seating area wasn’t very big, you may not get a place and have to wait although we were ok. The breakfast was ok, pity about the orange juice as you might expect lovely freshly squeezed orange juice in Spain in September
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location very central in Old Cadiz. Narrow streets so noise could be intrusive but it did not disturb us. Excellent breakfast offering.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was a good size 311 but our friends room 312 was a bit small
Cons: We were on the third floor which was just below the roof terrace, we could hear a lot of noice up to 2am on the sat night which wasn’t very good
7.1 Good
Pros: The hotel is in Old Tiwn and everything is within convenient walking distance. It is a good Value and despite noise in evenings I would return.
Cons: The hotel get a younger partying crowd who are noisy at night.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The roof top swiming pool and the fantastique view of the city and cruise ships
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was good for getting around .It was close to the seafront but also located in the heart of the old city. There was an excellent restaurant and a coffee shop in the square directly opposite There was a lovely central lounge. The sun terrace and pool were o.k and an unexpected bonus given the location.
Cons: The Hotel really needed a major revamp. It looked very tired especially in the bedroom we had.The walls were marked where suitcases had been scrapped on them .The curtains were thin and dreary. The Hotel was quite hard to find. The breakfast wasn't amazing but the annoying element was that the buffet was served in 2 separate rooms. For some guests seating in a third room The title "Spa Hotel" was hard to apply as we couldn't find any details anywhere about what the spa offered
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was very good. Staff were friendly & helpful.
Cons: There was nowhere to sit other than on the bed for 2 people, only 1 chair under a desk. The breakfast options were spread between 3 different areas and it was not obvious where the hot food was located, however the choice was good. The dinning area was very cramped and you had to constantly disturb already seated people in order to get to & from your table. The view from our room no 307 was appalling, looking straight into someone else´s private kitchen only 8 or 10 meters away & obviously they could see into our room, so we had to keep the curtains closed at all times.
