Pros: We arrived the day after the Labor Day weekend which we know would have been a huge weekend for all venues around the lake. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of this facility and the staff was amazing.
gave me an cabin for the price of just a room (great deal). answered any questions i had & was prompt about any problem. said there was a dinner there but was closed for repair ( told me places nearby)
Pros: great location, friendly reception, informed me on events coming up that weekend (but should have repeated it or made sure i was hearing them).
Cons: had bee problem, & some ants but they seemed concerned & aware of it.
Located on Carlyle Lake, Illinois, our hotel allows guests to enjoy a wide variety of activities including sailing, boating, fishing, swimming, biking, hunting, hiking, golfing, and more!
Pros: The bed was really nice n comfy. Clean room. Also lots of cable channels
Cons: Only somewhat negitive thing was the 1970'S looking fridge and microwave. Don't get me wrong it worked but some would rather see more modern appliances.
Pros: The room was clean
Pros: Loved the hotel and everything about are stay. Very nice and clean. The breakfast was amazing. The best part was the lady at the front desk hands down she was exceptional. You will never beat the price or find I cheaper room that is this nice
Cons: Not one thing!
Pros: Nothing it was very dirty building old and not maintained well.
Cons: Did not like anything, it had a bad odor in our room, just a terrible place would not recommend to anyone. Very uncomfortable stay, never again.
Pros: Clean, spacious, recently remodeled room with modern decor and appliances! Close to interstate. Quiet. I noticed all the reviews are old, so I decided to give this place a chance. Despite a couple minor things, I recommend staying here!
Cons: The lobby hasn't been updated. No ambience, limited furnishings, smelled old. And their obnoxious signage about their payment policies and 'no public restroom' don't feel very welcoming. Housekeeping chased me out of my room 10 minutes before checkout.

Cons: bathroom faucet handle fell off in my hand when trying to adjust shower, water so hot couldn't get in it
Continental Breakfast was disappointing. WE went elsewhere.
Pros: Convenient and clean.
Cons: no, just not the caliber we are used to.
Pros: Newly renovated room
Cons: Thin walls - noise and you can feel the vibration of footsteps from the floor above.
I said that I would not recommend this hotel. For a man or for a couple, I'm sure it would have been fine. but as a single woman, I didn't feel safe.
Pros: Easy to find location. Extended basic and wi-fi. Clean.
Cons: They put me in a room that looked like it was attached to the back of the motel. It was not within the 'hallway' rooms. Being a single woman, I did not feel as secure as I would have liked to.
Didn't have one, but don't like below ground level rooms and that should be identified when reserving them.
Pros: Clean, convenient, close to restaurants.
Cons: Noisy HVAC unit, pillows too soft, small breakfast area with big queue for waffle maker.
Staff was courteous and extremely friendly.
Pros: The location was just fine, it's right off the expresssway, and food services were nearby..
Cons: Tthere was a problem with the toilet which I brought to their atrtention.
Pros: Perfect location
Cons: We wanted a non-smoking room. They were not informed of that. We did get the last one they had.
Not rated correctly. Priceline said it was $--- room. The clerk said we could have pd $--- We paid ---!
Pros: The lady at the desk when we checked in was very nice.
Cons: The room was almost ----a Super 8! It was a 2.5 star. We thought for that price it would be a very nice room, because we have paid less for Hamptons, Hyatt's, Mariotts and more. Not the case. It was pretty bad. Breakfast was not good. A --- room!!
This is a great location near the interstate. It is very neat and clean and near lots of places to eat. Would recommend it highly.
Pros: Its convenience and cleanliness
Stay away! Who gave them two stars?
Pros: Nothing! Absolute nightmare
Cons: They gave me a fold out bed. There was an inch of dust behind the bed. The cable was not working. It was one of those experience s I will never forget in Salem, IL.
I wouldn't represent this hotel as a 'priceline' hotel in the future.
Cons: It was filthy- I got a smoking room that had the foulest odor I have ever smelled - asked for another room and was told they didn't have anything but smoking rooms available. Which if I hadn't already paid via Priceline - I would have demanded a refund.
Pros: Great value-carpet could use a shampoo-good breakfast

Cons: I booked a non-smoking room and was given a smoking room. I left the hotel just before midnight because the odor of smoke was unbarable.
Cons: The door only had a lock like you'd find on a bathroom door, and the remnants of an older lock that had obviously been broken in; you could also see outside through the seams of the door. There was lots of hair in the bedsheets, and the list goes on.
Pros: Proximity to services, WI-FI
Cons: Unkept, unclean, worn furniture and mattress, a very low-end 'residential' hotel. Carpet worn and frayed, escurity and door locks sub-par.
Cons: Is a 1970s style building but rooms are undergoing complet renovation. Granite countertops and great water pressure in the shower. Is a diamond in the rough but a diamond none the less. All new furniture too. Great stay.

Pros: Very Friendly and willing to speak to you anytime.
Pros: I have daily in the area, it is close by.
Cons: I invited my grandchildren to swin in the indoor pool with me and was told that it wasn't allowed. I have never heard of that.
Pros: It was much better than expected given other ratings I had seen. It is under new management, and they seem to be making an extra effort to be attentive to their guests. I was surprised that it had a nice indoor pool, but there were only two chairs.
Cons: It is a very plain, vanilla place. The included breakfast had juice, bagels, cream cheese, and hot and cold cereal, but no fruit or yogurt. There was a slight smell of mothballs upon entering the room. Despite small problems will stay there next year.
Pros: First impression: Staff was rude and the place was run down; dirty. Did not have a chance to further evaluate because they did not have my reservation, so we did not stay there.
Cons: Dirty, run down, rude reception, did not have our reservation.
Cons: It was dirty, loud, and hot rooms.
Cons: Most of the rooms have smoke smells and they still considered as non-smoking rooms. The office staff did not do anything about it
Pros: Decent, quiet room.
Cons: Minimal but adequate breakfast. Main complaint was staff (probably the owner) who acted less than thrilled to have me come in at 11:15pm, and a homeless person who was camped out in my hallway in the morning.
Pros: location And staff
Pros: The hotel was located about 15 minutes from my destination
Cons: Everything else! The smoking floor smelled like a huge ashtray that had never been cleaned. The room was supposed to have a king bed, it was a full size. The advertisement said the hotel served continental breakfast, they do not. I would never go back!
Pros: king sized bed.
Cons: poor quality for your money. Rude personal. Small bathroom. Out-dated everything. They also have over 400 rooms and was not full at all and the front desk game me a room right nets to a woman with two children who screamed and cried all night long!!!!!
