Close to Foxwoods Worn down room. Expensive.
Comfortable beds, jacuzzi in room, seemed over all clean. Stand up shower is tiny and outdated. Cheap and skimpy on toiletries. Did not have extras like razors or tooth paste. (not even for sale) Also only provided 2 in 1 shampoo / conditioner. Wish the shuttle ran later. Staff was borderline ruse, but kept enough to make a huge issue.
Little to no water pressure (they provided a written explanation as to why this was at check in, but it would have been nice to have this information up front when booking the hotel room). Rooms weren't very clean, the bathrooms didn't even have a counter or anywhere to put your toiletries, and the shower had no barrier to prevent water from spilling onto the bathroom floor. The TV remote didn't work either.
We got to check in at 11 am. Close to foxwoods, free shuttle Website said free continental breakfast but it was not true.
I spent a little extra on this hotel because it got good reviews and I will pay a little more for quality. I was grossly disappointed with this hotel. We pulled in, and were literally the only car in the hotel parking lot - and it was midnight. There was no hot water for a shower in the room so we suffered through freezing cold showers. When we checked out, we told them about the cold water and they just made a bunch of excuses as to why the water was cold without any apologies or reimbursement. A truly poorly managed hotel.
The room and arrive was great I'd def book there again Noisy neighbors
Jacuzzi tub was definitely worth the money. It looked like Caesar's in Atlantic City, except much more personable. Had a leak right outside our room, but we're glad it was outside and not inside the room. Breakfast was not included.
Jacuzzi Tacky Italian decor
Cleanliness and quietness -
Very friendly and informative staff.
The casino shuttle and waffle maker in the morning make this place! Less then half what you pay to stay at foxwoods. I'd definitely go back. Nothing I can think of.
Room was better than expected for money we paid. Room was very clean and queen beds were comfortable. The staff/service is terrible. We booked the shuttle to a casino for 930pm but when we arrived 5 minutes early they left us while claiming the people from our room had already boarded the shuttle. They had no way of verifying and making sure the right people boarded. My girlfriend had to wait in -2 degree weather for th next shuttle. Also there's breakfast until 11am amd we arrived at 1055 to get something quick to eat for the ride back and they said it had already closed. Why say it's opened until 11am but close earlier than the advertised time. Entire staff and manager seemed unorganized and unprofessional.
The staff was helpful and accodating. Breakfasts were very good. The location was great- close to a beach, restaurants, etc. The room was quite small, and a bit dated, but was ok for the price.
Large bathroom, friendly inn-keeper, sitting garden.
The staff was so sweet, and the property was beautiful, I only stayed one night but I didn't want to leave.
Very friendly owner and housekeeper/cook. Breakfasts were delicious and very attractive/appealing. Good variety.Flower gardens were beautiful and if you are a plant lover, this is a must place to stay.Convenient to good restaurants. I can't think of anything.
Kerri was very nice and welcoming. She also served great breakfasts.
We arrived there at 4:30 PM to check in and no one was there. The door was locked, their mail was in the box and a delivered package had been left on the porch. We called their telephone number. No one answered. We left a message, telling them that we
Breakfast was amazing. Close to the beach and less than a block from a playground and several restaurants.
We came here prior to my neices wedding in New Haven CT and stayed 2 nights along with our daughter, her fiancé & our 16 month old grandson. The staff was wonderful, food was great and location was ideal for our daytime site seeing around town. Just having to carry our bags up two flights of stairs. Other than that nothing, but i knew that before I booked it from prior reviews. And it won't stop me from going back there again.
the location right on the water you could get no closer!!!! the food was not what we thought it would be....
Right on the beach and within walking distance to all restaurants on the beach. Very clean rooms and the Staff was awesome. There was a leak in the room above us, but Staff responded right away, made the repair and we enjoyed the rest of our stay. No onsite laundry for guests.
Proximity to the beach
- Proximity to Narragansett and Scarborough beaches - Proximity to restaurants and retail stores (e.g. CVS drug store, Stop & Shop grocery store) - Outdoor swimming pool - Staff were friendly and helpful - Breakfast was excellent - Price for the two night stay was expensive for a Holiday Inn. However, in summer season with a location near beaches, it is understandable the price is inflated - Despite good air conditioning, the room was very humid. It was humid outside which translated to indoor humidity as well. Paper documents in the room were slightly wet from the humidity
The pool Check in was 3:00. Room wasn't ready until 4:25. Didn't vacuum or take any cleaning products in to clean the room. No housekeeping after we checked in. No clock. TV didn't work. Broken fixtures. Bottom of tub was hard to stand on.
We liked the location of the hotel. It was situation in the center of town, walking distance to a lovely state beach, restaurants and across the street from the harbor. The staff was very friendly & let us park our car before check-in time. The hotel was covered with seagulls. We almost felt like we had stepped into an Alfred Hitchcock movie. There was seagull poop all over the parking lot, cars, roof of the hotel, etc. Our car needed a car wash after only staying one night. Outdated rooms.
It was so close to the beach and restaurants. The room was VERY dark! We had a room on the inside overlooking the pool.
Inexpensive for 1 night stay and day trip to Block Island. Ferry is right across the street. Indoor pool came in handy after dinner for a late night swim for kids. Air-conditioned. Simple..no frills but completely served it's purpose. Bird poop. We parked at our friends rental so it was a none issue for us.
Location was ideal!!! Seagull poop was all over hotel and grounds, it smelled awful
Close to shore.... The room ... Bad conditions, phone didnt work, bathroom with broken towel rack, plaster on carpet, broken blinds and drawers. The service in restaurant was great, very nice people.
I could leave. Dirty, falling apart, lazy inept staff, claimed to have a resuarant that was basically a bar full of foulmouthed drunks. I was harassed in the pool area, the parking lot was an aviary full of bird poop, was kept up all night by partiers in other rooms.
Location to fishing docks was excellent Hotel was dirty and noisy. Housekeeping knocked on door at 4 am and when they were told to go away they went to room next door and started vacuuming. Room was occupied with someone else's items when we walked in

Location next to Block Island ferry Seagull poop all over the place
The location was perfect and the staff was very friendly The beautiful indoor pool hadn't been heated yet
