Pros: Our room feels as though someone anticipated everything we might want and provided it. Perfectly lovely and totally comfortable!!
Cons: Better shelving in the bathroom for guest toiletries would be nice. I had to work to find anything to improve.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I very much enjoyed the overall hospitality. My husband enjoyed the breakfast’s that were made. I have a medical condition that kept me from eating their homemade breakfast’s but they were so accommodating by making me what I could eat. We loved everything really. Our room was exquisite.
Cons: The bathroom shower definitely could use more water pressure, but it still met the need.

Pros: Great service nice staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our first time in Vermont with my husband and we couldn’t ask for a better visit staying at the Lang House. Our stay was so relaxing and just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. Next day, we had breakfast in bed which was absolutely so delicious and fresh. Both my husband and I decided the Lang house was the highlight of our trip. The staff and ownership were so nice and accommodating. The soaps and toiletries in the bathroom were awesome-smelled great. Our room was immaculate ( we stayed in Hayward) and the bed was extra comfortable. Loved every minute of our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The bed was extremely comfortable and my room was well kept. The inn was very close to local restaurants and places of interest. The breakfast served in the morning was delicious.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, charming and spacious room with two sitting chairs and an armoire, in addition to a large king size bed. Generous bathroom. Beautiful dining room with beautifully set tables and many by windows. Wonderful, helpful staff. Even the simplest breakfast was set out with grace and elegance. Free parking a plus. Staff was very helpful all around and also in carrying up our luggage to our room on the second floor. Small guest refrigerator (shared by all guests) was a bonus.
Cons: We loved everything about the hotel; just weren't so excited about Burlington in the end. Would have preferred to stay in Woodstock.

Pros: Complimentary drinks and snacks in the evenings saved us a lot of money! The breakfast was also included which was good. The hotel seems so new and very clean and well maintained.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Large rooms, pet friendly, great value, everything is modern and clean, great breakfast buffet, friendly staff. Just outside of downtown but for that you get very large suites and there's a 24 hour free shuttle service to any location within 5 miles and they pickup / dropoff on demand, just call. It's about a 5-8 min drive to downtown. The in suite kitchen's are also fully stocked with a full size fridge, pots and pans, silverware, sink and even a dishwasher. Feels like you're at home if staying for a few days.
Cons: To have a pet stay with you it's an extra 50 a night which which can add up and get expensive given the hotel price. I feel a one time pet cleaning fee would be more appropriate. I cleanup after my pet and there is no big mess.
9.5 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was lovely, so we could walk across the street to the waterfront and enjoy the sunsets. Also the Hen of the Woods restaurant right next door was fabulous. Hotel itself is super cute and had more amentities than expected and tons of great little touches. Staff was above and beyond fabulous, front desk was wonderful and friendly, and every floor had a coffee/tea station and a machine to dispense flat and bubbly water for your room. This is like a 5 star hotel in a small town, with tons of special amenities. Also loved the robes and the bathroom amenities from a local company, delicious. Plus the cute blanket rolled up on the bed, that you can take to the waterfront for chilly sunsets!
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: Can't think of anything that would make it better.

Pros: Wonderful hosts who couldn't do enough for us - even offered to drive us to the airport. Large modern luxurious accommodation. Although breakfast not included, they provided a range of locally sourced items such as granola, fruit, juices, toiletries etc. Great range of books & games as well as artworks on the walls. Close to very nice restaurants - a quick walk across the bridge. A little way out of center of town but regular local bus service if you don't have a vehicle.
Cons: Only wished we could have spent more time there!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was simply furnished, with old-style coverlets, and very clean. Clean is what I look for first in a room, whether at a drive-in motel (or which this was a charming example) or a 4 star hotel. It had a nostalgic vibe that reminded me of hotels when I was a kid.
Cons: My friends said the air conditioner in their room was loud, and kept going on and off all night and made it difficult to sleep.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was neat and clean, and it looked like it was recently refurbished. Also, the exterior looked recently refurbished. 4.3 Okay
Cons: Property is in serious need of updating. Room wasn’t ready at 3:00 and when we finally checked in to the room the linens on the bed were dirty. Mattress felt like it was 50 years old. They did come in and change the bedding after we complained. No apologies given. Nothing seemed clean about this hotel. It is old, dirty and depressing. I would never stay here again even if it were free. I absolutely can’t understand the high rating of the hotel.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was excellent - food selection to satisfy all tastes. The staff at reception were exceptional - United Airlines lost my husband's luggage. We were in Burlington Vermont for a memorial service for our nephew - so it was imperative that we got our luggage as our clothes for the service were in it or at least establish where it was. This required us to make many calls both local and international -we had to use the phone at the reception desk this did not pose any problem for the staff. The luggage did not arrive which necessitated my husband having to purchase new clothes for the duration of our four day stay in Vermont.
Cons: Nothing really
10.0 Excellent

Pros: Great location. Overall nice hotel. Friendly valet staff.
Cons: I was expecting way more for 500$ a night. Paper thin walls. I mean you can clearly follow your neighbours conversations. Our bathtub was partially clogged with hair so my first shower was a real treat as the water remained at the bottom of the tub. Finally, I was dissapointed that there was no recycling at the hotel nor was there a single EV charger for our electric car. This is Vermont right ?
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the valets. They made my day. So funny and accommodating. We talked a lot and joked about the crazy hours they work. Made my stay so fun.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.

Pros: Super welcome from hostess to this very traditional house. Immaculate and spotless room. Minimal breakfast, but home baked cake was exceptional. Hostess's husband was a Biathlon Gold medallist for Lithuania in winter Olympics, now an instructor locally.
Cons: Dinner in the very satisfactory Longhorn reataurant meant a round trip of six miles, otherwise no complaints at all.

Pros: Warm hospitality, quiet location close to Burlington, comfortable room, lovely back porch
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The inn keepers were kind and welcoming and dedicated to making our stay feel like we were home. Our room was meticulous and super comfortable. The location was quiet and a 15 minutes drive from Burlington center. It was nice to be a few minutes away from the hubbub. We loved our time here and greatly recommend this inn. And the cookies were out of this world!!!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The accommodations were extremely clean and well organized. The hostess was exceptionally welcoming and kind to our family, especially to our 13-year-old son. I would go back again in a heartbeat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice, clean, friendly and great location, very convenient to Essex Junction and Burlington, yet quiet and comfortable. Owner is great. This is an inn, not a B&B so if you only need coffee or tea this is perfect. We liked it very much.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfy bed. It's a family run inn and the inn keeper was very sweet. She makes amazing coffee cake!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lovely back porch looking out on a mass of beautiful trees.
Cons: I sleep on an Obus neck support pillow, so I found the pillows at the inn too high.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great bed, delicious cookies, great location
Cons: Very small bathroom, no lotion, one small bar of soap for two people for two days

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenience, location, dinner in the Upper Deck Pub. Staff everywhere on the property were super friendly!
Cons: Guest room doors slam shut if you don't shut them slowly.
4.3 Okay
Cons: Air conditioner worked inconsistently, bed and blankets were very uncomfortable, our room never got cleaned, we never received fresh towels, and our last morning cleaning I unlocked and opened our door at 7:45 without knocking as we were getting ready for our day. We are very disappointed. Could’ve stayed at Motel 6 for this kind of service. Lousy...
7.0 Good
Pros: The outdoor pool
Cons: The price
8.3 Excellent
Cons: The room smelled of cigarettsmoke.
9.3 Excellent

Pros: We love this hotel. The staff is always warm, welcoming and courteous. We stay here twice a year when we travel the area!! It's our go to hotel. It is always such a great experience. We will definitely book here next year.
Cons: No. We love everything- I wish our stay could have been longer.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: nice selection
Cons: policy on having a credit card to stay even if you have the cash to pay in full . seems to me money is money and the machine runs on money . not every client is a rock star .
5.0 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The room was much smaller than expected. Also, it seemed as if the hotel was somewhat cheaply constructed as you could hear frequent noise from adjoining spaces.
7.5 Good
Pros: The location is convenient and close to most desirable sites and attractions
Cons: The price
5.0 Okay
Pros: I think that the hotel was too expensive for what it was, the pools were nice however and the morning breakfast was ok. The price was less expensive than other places and our priority was not to pay too much so we took the second cheapest deal(the other one was rated as very poor in cleanliness so we decided to not go for that). The staff was nice/ok, but nothing GREAT.
Cons: the prices are too expensive in Burlington so the hotel is too expensive for what it is!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Good selection of breakfast items. I liked the almond milk for cereal. We loved the pool! And the snack bar. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Can't think of a thing.

6.3 Good
Pros: Best thing was the 24 hour coffee and tea. Room was clean. Staff and guests were nice.
Cons: Room had a distinct musty odor. Was shown another room but it was also musty. Online pictures made the hotel look nicer than it is. Did not think hotel was good value for cost and location outside Burlington. Breakfast was standard budget hotel fare.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Poor quality towels and toiletries
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Pool was better than average.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location to downtown Burlington.
Cons: The rooms are overpriced and it was very loud early in the morning.
6.8 Good
Cons: Wasn’t as clean as I would expect
5.0 Okay
Cons: The bed was way too hard, making a comfortable night's sleep virtually impossible, and to add insult to injury, not one of the 6 or 7 coffee pots on display in the lobby had any coffee at 0700am. Completely unacceptable considering the price paid for a night's stay. We will not be back...
5.5 Okay
Cons: The room was not clean. There was hair on the bed and the sheets did not fit properly. I would have complained, but we returned to the room late and I slept on top of the bed. In addition, the in room coffee station only had one regular coffee, the rest was all decafe.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: We visit Burlington often to spend time with our son who is a VT resident. This was our first stay at Marriott and will not be our last. Very comfortable and convenient.
Cons: Everything exceeded our expectataions.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel, great view of the lake
6.5 Good
Pros: Great location near Church Street and within walking distance of Central Burlington's attractions.
Cons: Very poor welcome and interaction with staff. As a family member of a Marriott employee, I utilized the Explore Rate discount for family members. My initial greeting was a very cold "I can't believe we're offering that rate tonight" followed by what felt like an interrogation about my relationship to the Marriott employee (my mother). A packet of room keys was tossed across the counter my way with no explanation of where the elevators were, how the parking lot worked, etc. Upon asking, I got a repeated "I just can't believe we're offering that rate tonight". Very very poor way to treat the family members of fellow Marriott associate.

7.0 Good
Pros: Close to the airport. Clean. Good staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed and pillows were great. The bath was a super welcome surprise.
Cons: I did not enjoy the breakfast. I was confused by the only jellies available being orange marmalade and apple cinnamon, neither of which are standard Nelly selections.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: quiet, clean, comfortable
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Proximity to the airport.
Cons: Room was directly adjacent to the lobby (door visible from the front desk). The lobby was playing crappy music at high volume making it hard to get to sleep and the staff had no way to turn it off or drop the volume. No other rooms available. Never again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable. Good breakfast.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was okay, although a bit dated. The staff was wonderful!
Cons: I would have liked to be a little closer to downton.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Excellent location. Super clean room. Very comfy bed. Nice staff.
Cons: The heating unit in our room would not shut off. It was 77 degrees in there no matter how low we turned down the thermostat. We had to open our window to keep it reasonably comfortable, but this allowed very loud road traffic noise into the room.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, price, room size, overall cleanliness
Cons: There was hair stuck to the hairdryer. Room was too hot at night and adjusting the thermostat did not help
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable. Plenty of good places to eat nearby as well as being close to the airport for those 6:00 AM flights.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The customer service was really great, very friendly. Its very close to down town, quick uber drive, or if its not 90 degrees out, a nice walk.
Cons: I wish breakfast started at 6am on all days. We left early and was starving.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was not far from uvm
Cons: The only thing i did not like about the hotel was that the gentleman that checked me out was not very friendly

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice room and super comfy bed! Pool access was a bonus - although it is indoor and in another building. Laundry facility was great.
Cons: Paper plates and plastic (!!) cutlery for breakfast... really!?! Not much choice for breakfast and too many sweet things - typically American. A step up perhaps from motel breakfasts but only just.
7.0 Good
Pros: The hotel is located with 2 or 3 other hotels utilizing a shared parking lot. We had no trouble parking each day, but it does end up full each day. The breakfast was solid but not amazing (I would consider it standard fare for a hotel providing an included hot breakfast). We did have lots of space since the booking translated into their largest room, a 2-floor room where the loft-style upstairs had its own separate bed, TV, and bathroom. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: I feel like the best way to describe this hotel is solid but rough around the edges. When we checked in, there was a large wet spot near the couch which appeared to be from a spill of some sort (no odor, probably water). They did send the maintenance/night watchman to check it out but he couldn't tell what had caused it. We were there for 4 days and it never completely dried. The hotel was a bit dated, with lots of places throughout that were mildly scratched or slightly dirty. The breakfast was decent, but the breakfast seating area was very cramped (lots of guests using it, but not a lot of space to move around among the tables). The faucet in the sink over the minifridge area was almost unusable because they installed one that was too small to properly hang over the sink. The water almost ran directly onto the counter because the faucet spigot was too shallow. When I told the front desk about it, they said all the rooms were that way (faucets that were too small). The main bathroom sink was slightly clogged the entire time, causing the water to drain very slowly, even after just a few seconds of use. The carpets in the room appeared clean, but you could tell they hadn't been shampooed in a long time (gray socks or bare feet at the end of each day). The small snack area beside the front desk had a half-full freezer each day (all the ice cream items listed on the sign were never there).
6.3 Good
Pros: I liked the soze of our king suite. Lots of too,
Cons: Our first room had a horrible smell and we asked to get a new one. Our new room had cobwebs in every corner of the windows. Breakfast was horrible. There was no food at 9 am and so many families were waiting for food
6.8 Good
Pros: Great suite on 2 levels and 2 bathrooms
Cons: Was not clean. Bedsheets didn’t smell fresh, hairs in bathroom and carpets need a good clean. No curtains on 2 windows on top floor of suite so bright early
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Went to breakfast at 6:20 and nothing was ready other than the packaged foods had to leave by 6:45 and it still wasn't ready just told by the check-in staff sorry they didn't come in - for that price they should have taken care of it!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They helped me with printing boarding passes, recommended a local restaurant, and responded to every concern I had. I'd stay there again.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. Had no problems. Everything worked as it was supposed to.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, bed was super comfy, two sinks in the suite which made life a ton easier, tons of parking.
Cons: The room smelled like chicken broth, which you got used to pretty quick but it wasn't optimal.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic customer service - really friendly staff, gave us superb recommendations for where to grab dinner. Comfortable, clean room. Breakfast was great, with lots of variety.
7.0 Good
Pros: Comfortable clean bed and hotel suite spacious although dated it is quiet with thick walls and central AC.. also set back far from road.. average buffet breakfast with waffle maker
Cons: Toilet needs fixing as it ran off and on all night and also bathroom fan was exposed and very filthy.. did not run the fan
7.5 Good
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: Low water pressure in the shower. Sofa was stained.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location in the Burlington area
Cons: Breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were impressed with the room. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms. Clean. Good basic warm and cold breakfast. Near several shops and restaurants.
Cons: There were two reception clerks (on july 30) and one was busy with other guests. The other clerk, a young lady, totally ignored us and another guest while we were waiting.. for at least a couple of minutes, until more guests came. Thin ceiling, you can hear foot steps and water running from the guests above. WIFI disconnected every time our devices were inactive.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was a really good size and the bed was certainly comfortable. Everything was clean and there were lots of towels. I was happy to have the fridge available.
Cons: The windows did not open and the air conditioner was quite loud. I would rather have just opened the window for fresh air at night, and turned the air conditioner completely off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great. Very clean and inviting. Very comfortable. Great value.
Cons: Directions could be better.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff and spacious room
Cons: Breakfast area can get very crowded
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, friendly staff, affordable rates
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was well-prepared. Fruit was fresh. Rooms are designed perfectly for travelers; modern amenities.
Cons: Staff at check-in could have been more pleasant and welcoming.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The rooms were nice and roomy. The beds were also comfy. If I didnt book the hotel solely because it had a pool for the kids, it would have been a great stay. But it was dirty and caused lung issues with my son who normally doesn't have those issues.
Cons: The pool was not clean. There was a chemical imbalance or it simply was dirty water and the chemicals reacted. My son had a hard time breathing once someone turned on the hot tub and had to leave the pool area. He then had a terrible headache for hours.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Updated rooms
Cons: it needed to be more handicap friendly by the front entrance.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable, peaceful (suitably set back from the often-busy main road), bright, great breakfast. Next door there’s a convenient restaurant in a heritage building, for a good supper or just drinks on the terrace.
Cons: One small suggestion, we were travelling by bike, so a secure bike rack would be a welcome addition. No big deal though, we simply locked our bikes to a lamp post in the parking lot and had no issues.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Tv and bed
Cons: Old loud moldy ac. Creaky old floors. No ac in gym. Bfast sucks. One day no bagels. They need better quality food for prices they charge. Doors so heavy they slam sgut
10.0 Excellent
Pros: didn't have time for breakfast. Had an issue with my charge and it was taken care of right away.
Cons: The hallways and elevators are confusing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Everything was excellent except for the breakfast was very poor. The staff was not ready for the crowd they had and the food was not properly stocked
Cons: The breakfast has to be improved as it was very very poor. Not well-planned, fruit was not ripe and the food very ordinary. They had a big crowd and they were not prepared for it.

Located in Burlington (South End), Burlington Hostel is within a 10-minute walk of Waterfront Park and Church Street Marketplace. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and a 24-hour front desk.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, quiet street close to water and Church street. Well maintained with a wonderful staff that are friendly and helpful.
Cons: I could hear noises from other rooms due to walls not going all the way to the ceiling, lights on all night, nothing outside rooms to identify which is yours, curtains to room entrance did not close all the way, would have preferred a door to curtains.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Surprisingly comfy bed and very quiet place!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Every morning there was fresh coffee prepared and batter to make your own waffles.
Cons: The mattress was a bit too soft.
4.5 Okay
Cons: Desk clerk Samuel was aggressive and rude. As well as intimidating and finally verbally abusive. Must remain anonymous due to fear of retaliation.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Staff was great. Perfect for a short-term sleeping situation (personally), and likely a great spot for long(er) term, as well! Can only recommend this place to travellers to and through, Burlington!
Cons: The not-hot-enough water. Only complaint, though!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean. I arrived late, and the check in was quick and easy. The staff was very friendly. Waffles for breakfast ;D
Cons: There’s no doors to the rooms! Only curtains!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: We checked in at 1 AM after a flight cancellation, and the host was friendly and quiet to respect other patrons. Appreciated the separation between areas (curtains) so my family had our own section even though it was coed. Shoes-off policy kept the place very clean. The bathroom was spotless. Didn’t try the showers but free towels (and bedsheets) was nice.
Cons: Free breakfast is great, but only waffles! A couple of bananas or something would be nice. ^_^
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff was great, beds and couches were comfy. Breakfast a cool perk. Computers with a printer was great!!
Cons: Showers were kinda cold. Air conditioning was too cold and loud. Could have been like $10 cheaper
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The hostel has a great atmosphere and I have never met such afriendly and honestly interested staff. I like the common area and got along great with the open room arrangement. The kitchen doesn't have cooking plates unfortunatly but I didn't need them. The bathrooms were clean and everything was well organized. I loved the atmosphere, it's just a little pricey. But that's Burlington in general.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quite, friendly, wonderful location.
Cons: The free breakfast is only waffles and tea/coffee.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Waffles for breakfast were amazing
Cons: The rooms are all connected with agap in the roof so if someone in the next room snores you hear them. Plus the rooms are separated by curtains. You get complimentary ear plugs though
