The fireplace, coffee and tea available 24 hours/day, nice and well-appointed suite, dinner and drinks included on weeknights as well as breakfast, comfortable pool and hot tub, cushy down pillows on our king sized bed, and friendly staff-all make this a great place to stay. We stayed with our four year old but it would be great for business or friends/couples.

Cons: The location worked for us. It a couple blocks from Trader Joes and the interstate. It was a 10 minute drive to downtown. If you're looking for a place that you can walk to other cute things, this is not the spot. There are restaurants and a bit of shopping that are walkable but it's along a busy road and mostly strip malls.

Pros: My family stayed here on an unexpected overnight. We came up expecting a day trip but the kids ended up too tired to travel home. The room was way bigger than we expected, had a queen bed and pull out.couch. upon checking they let us request to be placed by other families (less worry that our noisey kids would wake others). They provided two clean pack and plays for our kids (both under age two). The breakfast is good. There was a lot of choice for cold things and grab and go. The husband was a bit dissapointed in the lack of hot.items but there were bagela , pancakes, waffles etc. We didn't use the pool but we went to check it out and it was clean and well cared for. Our room was very clean and we really enjoyed it. If we need to stay in the area in the future.we will certainly stay here!

Cons: Very poor welcome and interaction with staff. As a family member of a Marriott employee, I utilized the Explore Rate discount for family members. My initial greeting was a very cold "I can't believe we're offering that rate tonight" followed by what felt like an interrogation about my relationship to the Marriott employee (my mother). A packet of room keys was tossed across the counter my way with no explanation of where the elevators were, how the parking lot worked, etc. Upon asking, I got a repeated "I just can't believe we're offering that rate tonight". Very very poor way to treat the family members of fellow Marriott associate.

The staff was very friendly and it was a low-key environment seemingly insulated from the bustle around it. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, and was well-stocked every morning. Cons: The only issue I guess would be that there is NO indoor pool on premises. We asked and were told our key would work down at holiday inn to get us into the pool and hot tub though. We never used those facilities anyway but we would've if they were on-premises. Also, the floors of the room are surprisingly cold, thanks to the tile in the bathroom. I really have a hard time even thinking of "things I didn't like" because this place is great!

Cons: Didn't love the location. It's not in a charming area really - you get off the road to Essex and then it feels like an industrial zone. As you pull in the Essex, you feel like you're in an oasis, but because the surroundings are unappealing, you're limited to whatever is on-site.

Cons: I understand that hotels are under construction from time to time, but the hotel needed more signs -- bigger signs -- to direct customers. They had a lot of parents moving in college students - take a lesson from the Universities in Burlington on signs and where to place them.

Cons: Entrance to hotel is poorly marked. Also, If one is entering via a left turn (most would, coming from the highway), one must cross an often busy two lane high speed oncoming traffic.
Location is in Williston, VT, a bit further out from Burlington, the main attraction in the area and further than most of the competition. But closer to the airport.
The building itself is a rectangular monolith surrounded by a parking lot. Not particularly attractive or inviting.
Rooms are small. Breakfast area is small; there was not enough seating for guests on a crowded weekend. Lobby and front desk area small.
Only a one computer business center.
In my opinion, about $20-30/night overpriced.
No exercise gym.

Cons: They say that the airport shuttle is available 24/7, but although it runs 24/7, they don't always have available seats. We had to take a 4:15am shuttle instead of the 4:45am shuttle we wanted. So not only did we have to hang around the airport longer than we'd hoped, but we had to wake up at 3:30 am.

Cons: There was mold in the bathroom shower (which my wife is severely allergic to!), the heat was stuck on and the room was 79 degrees. When I went to the front desk the employee on duty was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. So I had to struggle with the window to open it, but alas, it seemed to be jammed shut. Also, I'd like to note, the stains on the bedding sheets was off putting.

Cons: It is a beat up hotel that needs some attention to detail. The room had a patio that looks like it had never been cleaned. At 7 AM the fire alarm went off and we were told to go outside for 2 hours and nobody on staff acknowledged the inconvenience, let alone apologized. There is no way I could stay here again.

When I came back to the hotel and thanked the male front desk person for the great recommendation.
