Very roomy and clean accommodations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Included breakfast and lunch wasn't gourmet, but the hotel was a fantastic deal, even excluding the complementary meals. Will definitely be staying here when I return to Burlington!
Staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was very good w/ample choices for anyone. Pet friendly, there were tags to put on your room door to let people know a pet was staying there. Large comfortable suites.
Staff was very helpful. Loved the free breakfast, and they provided a pack n' play at no charge to us as well.
Was far more than expected. Staff was excellent. Suite was immaculate.
Loved the airy, lodge-y feeling main common area, which we were able to use for a birthday party while there. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. Only complaint was the sofa bed, not very comfortable.
The hotel is a cozy haven in South Burlington. The fireplace, coffee and tea available 24 hours/day, nice and well-appointed suite, dinner and drinks included on weeknights as well as breakfast, comfortable pool and hot tub, cushy down pillows on our king sized bed, and friendly staff-all make this a great place to stay. We stayed with our four year old but it would be great for business or friends/couples. The location worked for us. It a couple blocks from Trader Joes and the interstate. It was a 10 minute drive to downtown. If you're looking for a place that you can walk to other cute things, this is not the spot. There are restaurants and a bit of shopping that are walkable but it's along a busy road and mostly strip malls.
Great breakfast and nice evening reception. The suite was nice for a family. The bedroom was small for 3.
This hotel was a good value. It did not have top of the line amenities but theit location, services and all around offering are in line with the rates they charge.
nothing Pool was broken Very noisy, people drinking late in the hallway
Very convenient location - clean facilities - excellent staff
rooms were clean. breakfast was good. location to colleges was good. staff was excellent traffic during week was bad. especially trying to get out of parking lot to college area.
Place was in the right spot downtown, had a wonderful restaurant on spot, overall great place I would stay again The room next to us fought until about 3am and nothing was ever done about it.. I tried calling down but couldn't get thru to the desk for some reason.
Amenities--all. Not a thing!
Employee's are excellent!!
The staff were super friendly. The room was big. There was mold in the bathroom shower (which my wife is severely allergic to!), the heat was stuck on and the room was 79 degrees. When I went to the front desk the employee on duty was apologetic but said there was nothing he could do. So I had to struggle with the window to open it, but alas, it seemed to be jammed shut. Also, I'd like to note, the stains on the bedding sheets was off putting.
Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room had a musty smell. Maid service disregarded do not disturb sign on the door and attempted to enter the room. Overpriced.
They say that the airport shuttle is available 24/7, but although it runs 24/7, they don't always have available seats. We had to take a 4:15am shuttle instead of the 4:45am shuttle we wanted. So not only did we have to hang around the airport longer than we'd hoped, but we had to wake up at 3:30 am.
Very comfortable bed, coffee maker, free wi-fi No hot tub.
I was very happy with this hotel. Easy access from highway, big, clean rooms, friendly staff, free breakfast. Everything was new/updated - carpets, bathroom fixtures, furniture, beds.
The Hilton Burlington always has a great staff and the location of the hotel means you will have a great view of the lake and a quick walk to restaurants, bars, and shopping. Very convenient to get in and out of Burlington to take day trips around VT. Rooms feel outdated and require some TLC to mirror the brand you expect from the Hilton.
Everyone was so friendly, knowledgable and treated me 1st class! View is amazing and room is very comfortable. a++ worth it I wish breakfast was included during our stay.
Location was perfect for what we came to see. Front desk staff at check out was very helpful and accommodating after letting them know about our stay. Construction in the room above us early Monday morning. The room had clothing left behind from previous guest as well as an employee beer can under the dresser.
Good location. Bummer to have to pay for parking
It was honestly a good price for a hotel with a really good location in Burlington. Not sure if you can find a nicer hotel for the price. If I were to come back I would try to find an Airbnb... Don't use the taxi service the concierge desk will call for you. The taxi they ordered for me took forever and the driver had been smoking in the van, so it smelled strongly of cigaret smoke. The taxi also charged me over double what an Uber cost to take me from the airport to the hotel. People were partying in the hotel rooms around us and they made a lot of noise and trash in the hallways. There were some hockey games going on in the area which I think is what brought the party crowd in.
Location was great, staff was friendly Facilities seemed worn, especially their dining area, not to the standard of other Hiltons. The room's view was an internal walkway to the garage so we couldn't open the blinds, and heard the constant hum of their outdoor air exchanger. Most likely an unlucky draw of rooms, unless that is their discounted section. Too booked to change rooms.
Polite staff and clean rooms. Had to pay for parking!
Loved the views of Lake Champlain! The location was fantastic, as we were just steps away from Church Street, Lake Street, and many other amenities of downtown Burlington. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the fire pit outside was a huge bonus! There was no microwave in the room and the bathroom didn't have a fan, which made for some very hot, sauna-like showers! The walls were pretty thin, and we heard most of our neighbors conversation the first morning. The construction of the parking garage also made parking a bit of a headache, but that was just a minor detail.
I liked the beautiful views of Lake Champlain and the proximity to the downtown area.
Great location. Worth the extra $ for lake views *Staff is hit or miss. *We booked on Aug 8 for Oct 8 arrival and our room type (King) was "sold out" when we arrived. Seems to me someone just didn't do their job and allowed people who arrived earlier in the day to upgrade their room.
Location and view We did not have a very nice stay. Their was fecal matter on the shower curtain. The room did not smell the best. The ac did not cool the room at all. It was about 90 degrees out during the day and when we went back to the room in the evening the room was hot with the ac on full force. Was not a very pleasant stay especially for $270 a night. The view was great from the room, that was about the only good thing from this stay
AMAZING! A great location, loved the free bike rental, loved the staff, loved the pillows! Overall, a great stay~
The room was beautifull and spacious and clean.
Our room spacious with lots of windows. We liked having 2 separate sinks. Very quiet. We chose it for the cost. If you wanted to be closer to downtown, you had to pay more for the same comfort.
What an amazing deal we got for this place. We accidentally ordered the suite apparently and our room was HUGE. The staff was very friendly and it was a low-key environment seemingly insulated from the bustle around it. The complimentary breakfast was pretty standard, and was well-stocked every morning. Our room was kept clean and we overall we loved our stay. The only issue I guess would be that there is NO indoor pool on premises. We asked and were told our key would work down at holiday inn to get us into the pool and hot tub though. We never used those facilities anyway but we would've if they were on-premises. Also, the floors of the room are surprisingly cold, thanks to the tile in the bathroom. I really have a hard time even thinking of "things I didn't like" because this place is great!
Room and public areas were excellent. Everything worked. Surpringly nice fitness center. Good breakfast. Very nice staff. Highly recommend!
We like to be ecological responsible and chose not to have towels and bedding replaced everyday. we hung the sign on the door as directed and that wish was respected. What we did not expect was that the bed would not be made and the normal cleaning done. Disappointing.
Room and dinning area were very nice They did not honor the Kayak price so, it cost and additional $90 to stay. Please be aware of this.
the convenience of off the highway on the highway. the elevator was out of service, which was not a problem for us, but would be for a handicapped person. And we woke up to a power outage.
I thought the room was above adequate and the courtyard was very well appointed
Club room Pool and gym poor
Great bar Expensive buffet
Room had peeling paint on the ceiling- not something I want to see at over $200 for a night!!
Comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean room No fridge or microwave in room and paid for a "deluxe" room. Hotel is a strange layout.
the garden in the inner courtyard, the nature trail outside entrance doors too low and flimsy, lobby and courtyard garden dirty with detritus of the previous day, front desk staff too cool and directed at one another to be attentive and helpful to guests
The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The bathroom was big. Great location. Free parking and shuttle to downtown. The breakfast in the Club Floor 4th was not very good. The eggs tasted very bad.
Big room. Big shower. Comfortable bed. Free shuttle from airport; arrived quickly. Nice restaurant was open late. No place to hang suits in room. Was given a double room for no good reason; voluntarily kept it instead of changing rooms on 2nd night. Mixed up parts of bill that were supposed to go to me vs. what goes to the company. Wound up with entire room rate on my card for what I though was a prepaid room, but receipt was mailed to company not to me.
Storm absolutely rocked it with customer service. I hope the Storm never ends.
The gentleman at the front desk had a great sense of humor. There was a nice selection at the continental breakfast which can be tricky because of my dietary restrictions. The beds were extremely comfortable and the location was great for the price point we were looking for. I really enjoy when I can peruse a binder in the room with information about hotel amenities and area attractions. I was able to find information about the amenities online and area attractions in the lobby.
Clean, quiet, comfortable, Breakfast minimalist.
room smelled damp and stale.
Quiet Clean Comfortable Bed Nice Sheets Door stuck Outdated room with stain on the ceiling No thermostat: heater/air conditioner unit seems to be from the 50s or 60s. Manual operation with lots of noise. They only give you a single coffee packet. No tea. Coffee maker is set up in the bathroom (!!!) with the cord screwed into the wall, so you can't even move it Carpet somehow stained Extremely noisy fan when you turn on the bathroom light
The bed was really comfortable. The room was OK overall. Location is convenient. Noisy neighbors well into the night. Staff was not particularly service oriented, basically friendly but not as helpful as they could have been. This was not a cheap stay, so not a great value, minimal amenities.
The breakfast that is included with your stay In-room coffee maker Upon waking up on my last morning, I had 2 itchy, red welts...I got bed bugs...more have since developed! They do not offer conditioner (only a combination of shampoo and conditioner), only The exercise room is very bare bones, one treadmill and one crappy bike The hallway floors did not get vacummed once during my 3 day stay, they were dirty and full of salt from outside
Clean Comfortable bed Modern bathroom Efficient
Room was nice and clean, staff was friendly. The door was warped and did not latch very well.
Great staff. Attentive and professional. Clean hotel and good for famiy getaways. No small fridge in my room.
They had a sauna haha, very close to downtown burlington, stores, coffee, liquor store. Over all very good.
Nice Bed. The air conditioning in our room was not functioning. The front desk was rude. The elevators did not work. Did not sleep well in a hot room with street Lights shinning in the room.
Like new! Super clean and spotless. Luxurious. Full refrigerator and freezer, cook top, microwave, and all things needed to cook. Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, comfortable, and perfectly equipped rooms. Coffee round the clock downstairs, breakfast, and dinner on weeknights. Honestly, best place we've stayed - ever! Great value.
It was quiet, clean, the front desk was very pleasant and I had a great night sleep. Absolutely no complaints!
Price Facilities need refreshing, breakfest food was limited
Everything was great! Service, room, staff, cleanliness, ect. I would recommend staying here. A great location not far at all from downtown Burlington. Pool was closed :(
Ease of check in, very friendly staff. Close to both restaurants and grocers. Room was huge. Proximity to a very busy intersection made getting on and off property difficult at times. Exterior staircase hand rails are too wide to grip properly and were filthy
Close straight drive to middle of town. Quiet hotel, but right off the main road. A little pricey.
Not too fancy on the outside, but the room was nicer than expected with a comfortable king-sized bed and updated bathroom and decor. Just a few minutes' drive to downtown Burlington and a decent price.
Room was neat and clean. Staff is very friendly. Absolute bang for the buck. Rates were cheap but no compromise in anything. Great location. A mere 5 minute drive from Burlington Downtown. No complaints. Heater could have been better or alt east better positioned but considering it was the coldest night of the year it was understandable.
Good location Heating/cooling system high in wall which blew right on my body, constant fan. Carpet and walls were dirty, poor wifi.
The hotel is a budget hotel but it is located in an excellent location near malls and restaurants.
room cleaner did a nice job; hot tub furniture in room sub-par; bathroom extremely small; tub did not drain; pillows uncomfortable
friendly helpful staff Air conditioner not able to cool room. Room smelled of cleaning chemicals.
I loved everything about this motel. It was quiet and comfortable. The room was clean. The bed was soft, yet firm; unlike a lot of motels beds that feel like you are laying on concrete. The towels were soft and thick. The grounds were litter free and manicured. The staff was friendly and helpful. If I ever get to Vermont again I will definitely stay in this motel. There was not one thing I disliked about this motel.
GOOD LOCATION CONVENIENT TO CAMPUS AT A GOOD VALUE VERY BASIC. NOT A PLACE TO BRING A DATE AS NO ATMOSPHERE. MOTEL 6ish.
We stayed in Anchorage Inn for only one night. It was clean and stuff was very nice and helpful with anything we needed/asked. We really enjoyed the hot tub and pool, we got all the instructions about pool hours during check-in. You can see that the room need some update, furniture is not new, but everything was clean and we had all we needed for our one night stay. We paid for room with refrigerator and microwave but first we were given a room on the lowest floor with non of those and with lock that didn't work. We went back to the front desk and immediately got another room that was exactly what we paid for, the stuff was very nice. The new room was on 2nd floor and looked much better and newer than the first one. It is sad that first they try to give you the worst option possible and only if you complain you get something better. Even though you specifically paid for the better room.
location/ easy check in/out The coffee was fresh in the morning. The hallway was filthy, my room was a hair cleaner then hallway which is not saying much. Carpets not vacuumed and under the bed awful..candy wrappers, hair etc so my allergies kicked in. Window in room was broken. The shower head dripped constantly. The toilet seat was broken. The refuse can by the soda machine and ice maker was over flowing garbage onto the floor. The cleaning crew was there upon my arrival so I was suprised they didn't take care of this.I asked them to open another room so I could check smokiness. Obviously my original room had smokers in it and it reeked. It seemed that there were people living there long term as they were coming and going with large amounts of groceries etc. I hope they straighten things out because location is good but I will not be staying there any time soon.
Staff Breakfast very limited Bathroom tiny
Great location, friendly staff, great price for expensive town Old. Clean, but old. Room smelled like deodorizer, but the windows open. Shower had adhesive all over the bottom of it. Check in isn't until 4p.
Nice comfortable room for a very fair price, the breakfast was not very good at all, however with the money we saved on the hotel going out to eat at the many fine restaurants in Burlington was just fine
Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Big breakfast and cookies at night. Nice location. We could hear the very loud wedding reception beneath us that went till midnight. I suggest choosing a higher floor or asking about any events when you book or check in.
Great stay,awesome choices for breakfast
The beds were comfortable and I liked the fact that there was a clean bed cover with each new guest. The location was good and the staff very nice and helpful. Lots of choices for breakfast. Cookies at the end of the day is a nice touch. I did not like the fact that it was so close to main roads. The hotel is not in perfect condition. The rugs and lifts have seen much better days. I had thought from the description that it would be a "grander" hotel. For breakfast, I would prefer better quality : real omelets and scrambled eggs, more natural yogurts.
The hotel and Staff were outstanding. We enjoyed our stay. The agency we booked through booked the date we left not the dates we needed. When we tried to notify the company for a refund we could not get through 5 times and never got through. Please help.
The desk staff was very friendly and informative.
My wife and I had to travel to Burlington on business. This is by far the best hotel we have stayed in, within the $100 room range. New King size bed and pillows. Very clean and comfortable. Free WiFi and business amenities. The room even had USB chargers on the nightstand for our phones. Overall highly recommend and will definitely be staying there again. The building appears small from the front, however once you get inside it opens up. Parking can be a pain if they are getting full.
Excellent hotel. Excellent staff. Too far from downtown.
more fruits in the breakfest
Very nice breakfast assortment, and excellent servers keeping the assorted foods/drinks servers filled at all times. Very pleasant people.
Bathrooms! Pubic hair on floor. Very outdated foxtures
Quiet, clean and comfortable. Easy access to airport and Burlington Parking can be a little tight.
Great food and friendly staff. Loved the curried apple soup.
we liked the spa area a lot, the food and the overall atmosphere of the hotel
The room was spacious and meals were superb. The staff was friendly and helpful and the new spa was luxurious. The bathroom was too small and old fashioned for such a nice hotel.
Very nice amenities and landscapes, super friendly staff, two great restaurants on site. Nice room, nice spa services and easy 30 min drive to Burlington. Didn't love the location. It's not in a charming area really - you get off the road to Essex and then it feels like an industrial zone. As you pull in the Essex, you feel like you're in an oasis, but because the surroundings are unappealing, you're limited to whatever is on-site.
Friendly staff. Good food. Although I booked a room online with two queen beds and a fold out - and paid the extra for a jr suite, when we arrived, the room had only one bed. When I called the front, they said they had no record of the request. They could not provide me with such a room because they were fully booked and wedged us into a room with two queen sized Murphy beds and provided us with a cot. There was no room to walk in the room. There was no separate living/dining area and kitchen. My rate was not adjusted downward to reflect the significant downgrade in accommodations. The telephone did not work when we checked in. The TV remote had no batteries in it. I like this resort a lot from past stays. I was really disappointed this time.
Easy shopping, movie theater and great food.
The dining at the hotel is really the attraction since it's associated with New England Culinary Institute. The food, especially at their "Butler's" restaurant was very good. Smallish portions encourage enjoying all courses, including dessert, and the wine list, while limited, had some good selections. If you are impatient, the service can be slow. If you are a foodie, enjoy your companions (and the meal) and make an evening of it. Room service is good and reasonable, given the level of the food. There were some small things -- peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, for example -- that should be corrected for a hotel at this level. While the room was spacious (we had a suite with kitchen, jacuzzi and a small gas-log stove they call a "fireplace") it had a "hotel" feel that failed to set it apart. We felt it was overpriced for what you got, and will probably continue to stay in bed & breakfasts rather than repeat a visit here.
In room Menus for the restaurants were not up-to-date. Often had different prices listed for the bruch. For example, the brunch was listed at $21.95 and 19.95 but actually cost !19.95
The amenities and friendly staff made us feel very welcome. Pillows were too big and uncomfortable, and the tiles and grout in the bathroom was a little moldy.
The location was beautiful. The room was nice but not as nice as expected for a posh resort. The toilet was not working properly and when I reported it, the staff seemed uninterested in fixing that problem.
If you want a hotel that is truely Vermont in downtown Burlington this is the place. It is totally Vermont. Beds are wonderful, the staff is great and the hotel is beautiful.
Rental bicycles in front entry for client use. Room view overlooking roof of adjacent building.
The room was very clean and well appointed. My son LOVED the indoor pool
Room was spotless. Bed very comfortable. Staff very accommodating. Should have shuttle service to church street( height of restaurants and shopping) and the waterfront
The staff was very nice
Decor and presentation of our room was pleasing. Very comfy bed. Close to the lake in a decent area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Interiior decor of corridors was poor, carpet needs replacing. I was worried what state the room would be and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door.
Close to airport. Good location. Bathroom was too small. Room was muggy.
I loved having a fireplace in the room, just wish that we were told we needed to get our own firewood. I also loved that our dog could be included in our trip The maid that cleaned all weekend was loud and slammed doors. I understanding she's cleaning and it looked like it was just her but a slamming door is not what I want to wake up to at 730 am
Did not have access to my own room key and the room was extremely small. The window was open in the room and was really hot when I arrived. Did not have access to an AC. Would not recommend
The staff was OK, but not extremely friendly. The pool was gross algae green and he did not fix by the next day as the owner said he would, and I wanted to use ice ONE TIME for small cooler (there were about 5 other cars in the entire place) and he said no ice, you people with coolers take it all. Towels were scratchy. Not extremely clean, it was dusty.
