Pros: Rental bicycles in front entry for client use.
Cons: Room view overlooking roof of adjacent building.
Pros: If you want a hotel that is truely Vermont in downtown Burlington this is the place. It is totally Vermont. Beds are wonderful, the staff is great and the hotel is beautiful.
Located 3.8 mi (6.2 km) from the airport, Hotel Vermont offers a great location, putting you within just a 10-minute walk of Church Street Marketplace and Waterfront Park. Guests can indulge in deep-tissue massages and enjoy local cuisine at Juniper, which is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer LCD TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: The staff is very friendly, and the rooms were quite clean. They would've been cleaner if there was a screen door or a lobby, but this wasn't a hotel, this was a motel and access to the outside was direct from the room. So, we had to deal with a little Vermont insect life. That said, everything was really quite nice. The room was modern without flaw and very clean considering. The bedding was clean most importantly, and comfortable. The bathroom was immaculate and also functional. We'd stay there again.
Cons: For the money the 10 minutes drive into town was acceptable, but I found that we had to go back-and-forth quite a bit. That's not the motels fault that's mine. I would've liked to have made one of the drive-in movie shows, because that probably would've made my stay even better and was pretty awesome to have that offered for free to motel guests, but by the time we got back from a concert we were in town for it was really too late and we just went to bed.
Pros: Great beds. Blackout shades. Great owner. Close to good food. Great drive-in experience. Very quiet.
Cons: The door had issues with sticking. Also the cutesy switches for "do not disturb" or "make up room" kept getting bumped. A simple door hanger works better. One day, even after speaking to the cleaning lady about putting additional coffee in the room, they completely skipped our room (maybe due to the electronic "do not disturb" sign? The wife was not happy that we had no clean towels that night...
Pros: We liked the movie theme. The room had enough space that I could get work done while my kids slept. The motel was conveniently located to highways, stores, and to Lake Champlain. We want to go back when the drive-in theater is opened (we visited too late in the year)
Pros: Friendly staff, brand new rooms, free chocolates.
Pros: Clean, new, efficient, nice rooms, price
Cons: Bit far from Burlington
Starlight Inn puts you within a 10-minute drive of Waterfront Park and Church Street Marketplace. Freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks, and guests can keep active with onsite mini golf. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves.
Just 3 mi (4.8 km) from the airport, Lang House On Main Street puts you just a 5-minute drive from Church Street Marketplace and University of Vermont. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and cooked-to-order breakfast available daily. This romantic bed & breakfast is also within a short drive of Waterfront Park.
Pros: The hotel itself was great for a short weekend getaway. We enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub as soon as we arrived. We missed the hot breakfast that was complimentary because we decided to sleep in but I'm sure it would have been great.
Cons: Our room description said full kitchen but it was only (2) hot plates on the counter. The picture showed an oven, our room lacked this feature which wasn't ideal. There is no place to fill an ice bucket either, but the front desk staff grabbed some for us
Pros: We love this hotel! After many disappointing stays in at other area places,we feel in love with this gem! The staff is friendly, the location is great, the room is clean and comfortable. We will be back again & again & again. It's awesome!
Pros: All the amenities..and the pool.
Cons: One day, the housekeeping forgot to do our room...We did not leave any sign at the door.
Pros: The staff friendly. The 2 bed suite is large & comfortable for a family. We prepared dinner in the room. The kitchen is well stocked, pots, pans, dishes, etc. The dishwasher was nice as well. The hotel is located out of the city and is very quiet.
Easy access to major highways and short distance from Burlington
Pros: Spacious, updated, super clean rooms and great included breakfast in the morning.
Remember your swimsuit! Great pool and hot tub.
Pros: The service was outstanding, the best in Burlington, and we've stayed at more than 10 Burlington hotels in the past 3 years. It had a comfortable, well designed, elegant suite with a gorgeous kitchette and free wifi comes standard. Oh, it was quiet too
Cons: Initially, I thought it was out of town, but Winooski is only a mile from UVM and is charming, on the river.
Overall a great value. I plan to stay again.
Pros: I needed to work from the room and the connection speed and reliability was great. It even had a wire connection. The room was clean, the free breakfast was very good. Having the kitchen was a big plus.
Cons: You can hear people from other rooms a bit but everything was always quiet at night and early morning so not a problem.
The suite was big. The kitchen a big surprise.
Pros: The staff was very kind and friendly.
Cons: The picture of the pool made the pool look bigger than it was.
The pool area was very clean as well. Always a plus in my book. The breakfast is one of the best I've experienced. They don't just have cold cereal and make your waffle. They make eggs, bacon, sausge, homefries...you name it but it changes daily. Highly recommended if traveling with children.
Pros: You can't go wrong most of the time with a Marriott. My room had the small kitchen. It was perfect for our needs for 4 days! They made good use of the space in those type of rooms. I would stay there again for sure.
This is not a Saint Bernard. THis is a 10 pound dog that I would never allow to stain or doing any bathroom stuff in the room. I get it, that a lot of people abuse rooms with their pets , but lets be reasonable . I have stayed in this hotel a few times, but after this episode I do not think I will. It is the principle of this.....
Pros: Modern hotel. Good space planning, nice room.
Cons: Yes, I was very shocked that you charge $100.00 for a pet stay. That really put me off I have never paid such an enormous amount ever! When I booked the hotel on line it never mentioned this cost. I have a tiny shiu tzu that is well trained. Th
It's a little far from downtown Burlington, but that was an extremely minor issue. Wouldn't prevent me from staying here. In fact, it's worth the tiny bit of extra distance. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was beautiful, and the pool/laundry/excercise areas were very nice.
Pros: We were given a king suite on the first floor very near the pool and an exit. Perfect! There are several public spaces, including a gas grill and gas fire pit for guest use. Hot breakfast is included and the kitchenette was well stocked with utensils.
Cons: No complaints!

Pros: Great location near Church Street and within walking distance of Central Burlington's attractions.
Cons: Very poor welcome and interaction with staff. As a family member of a Marriott employee, I utilized the Explore Rate discount for family members. My initial greeting was a very cold "I can't believe we're offering that rate tonight" followed by what felt like an interrogation about my relationship to the Marriott employee (my mother). A packet of room keys was tossed across the counter my way with no explanation of where the elevators were, how the parking lot worked, etc. Upon asking, I got a repeated "I just can't believe we're offering that rate tonight". Very very poor way to treat the family members of fellow Marriott associate.
Pros: The staff were absolutely wonderful. We had a terrible experience the evening before, so we switched to the Courtyard. Seeing and listening to what happened, the staff did their best to allow us to take care of our vehicle while we waited for our room, and even accommodated an early check-in because of our needs. Thank you so much! You saved the 4th of July for us!!!
Pros: Loved the location. Close to everything in Burlington.
Cons: Restaurant was awful!!!! Service was slow and it took over an hour to get our breakfast.

Pros: My family stayed here on an unexpected overnight. We came up expecting a day trip but the kids ended up too tired to travel home. The room was way bigger than we expected, had a queen bed and pull out.couch. upon checking they let us request to be placed by other families (less worry that our noisey kids would wake others). They provided two clean pack and plays for our kids (both under age two). The breakfast is good. There was a lot of choice for cold things and grab and go. The husband was a bit dissapointed in the lack of hot.items but there were bagela , pancakes, waffles etc. We didn't use the pool but we went to check it out and it was clean and well cared for. Our room was very clean and we really enjoyed it. If we need to stay in the area in the future.we will certainly stay here!

Pros: Great help from the main desk person.
He recommended a nice hike up to Mount Philo.
Me and my son had a great experience hiking on up.
When I came back to the hotel and thanked the male front desk person for the great recommendation.
He also recommended a good place to eat, right down the road from the hotel called Vermont Tap House. Had a great experience at the restaurant.
Pros: Great location and the restaurant that was in the lobby
Cons: Hot tub wasn't working the whole time I was there

Pros: Cleanest motel room in the 6 nor'easter state motels we used. Super friendly staff.
When you stay at T- Bird Motor Inn, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of University of Vermont. Guests can take a dip in the seasonal outdoor pool, and freebies like WiFi and self parking are added perks. Also, this motel is 6.2 mi (9.9 km) from Church Street Marketplace.
Pros: The hotel and Staff were outstanding. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The agency we booked through booked the date we left not the dates we needed. When we tried to notify the company for a refund we could not get through 5 times and never got through. Please help.
Pros: Clean, comfortable rooms with friendly and helpful staff. Big breakfast and cookies at night. Nice location.
Cons: We could hear the very loud wedding reception beneath us that went till midnight. I suggest choosing a higher floor or asking about any events when you book or check in.
Pros: The beds were comfortable and I liked the fact that there was a clean bed cover with each new guest.
The location was good and the staff very nice and helpful.
Lots of choices for breakfast.
Cookies at the end of the day is a nice touch.
Cons: I did not like the fact that it was so close to main roads. The hotel is not in perfect condition. The rugs and lifts have seen much better days. I had thought from the description that it would be a "grander" hotel.
For breakfast, I would prefer better quality : real omelets and scrambled eggs, more natural yogurts.

Pros: Very nice amenities and landscapes, super friendly staff, two great restaurants on site. Nice room, nice spa services and easy 30 min drive to Burlington.
Cons: Didn't love the location. It's not in a charming area really - you get off the road to Essex and then it feels like an industrial zone. As you pull in the Essex, you feel like you're in an oasis, but because the surroundings are unappealing, you're limited to whatever is on-site.
Pros: The amenities and friendly staff made us feel very welcome.
Cons: Pillows were too big and uncomfortable, and the tiles and grout in the bathroom was a little moldy.

We are family-friendly and pet-friendly.The Essex Resort & Spa is a Recommended Property of Forbes and Startle.com and we sincerely look forward to your visit.
Cons: I understand that hotels are under construction from time to time, but the hotel needed more signs -- bigger signs -- to direct customers. They had a lot of parents moving in college students - take a lesson from the Universities in Burlington on signs and where to place them.
Pros: staff seemed genuinely friendly. not that irritating "trained friendliness" which seems so phony and makes you feel silly
Cons: breakfast was not good. hardboiled eggs tasted like something else as did the oatmeal. had to go out for breakfast.
Pros: Location and convenience
Pros: The room was clean and comfortable, with a great location right off of highway 89. Very easy access to the shopping/restaurants in Williston and a quick ride to Burlington.
Cons: Hotel was a little dated but overall nothing to worry about when staying here. Could have been priced $20 less and would have been ideal.
Pros: Fairfield inn continues to be one of the best vale, pretty basic hotels. Clean, modern design, good breakfast, free wifi.
Pros: Facilities and room were very clean and nice.
Cons: Bed was very uncomfortable and I could feel the springs in my back.
Pros: Courteous staff, clean facility, high end mattresses and pillows, 32 inch LCD TV, and a decent hot breakfast.
Cons: Entrance to hotel is poorly marked. Also, If one is entering via a left turn (most would, coming from the highway), one must cross an often busy two lane high speed oncoming traffic.
Location is in Williston, VT, a bit further out from Burlington, the main attraction in the area and further than most of the competition. But closer to the airport.
The building itself is a rectangular monolith surrounded by a parking lot. Not particularly attractive or inviting.
Rooms are small. Breakfast area is small; there was not enough seating for guests on a crowded weekend. Lobby and front desk area small.
Only a one computer business center.
In my opinion, about $20-30/night overpriced.
No exercise gym.
Minutes from downtown Burlington, Taft Corners, Hillside East and Burlington International Airport the newly renovated, beautifully appointed, Fairfield Inn by Marriott Burlington Williston, features bright, spacious guest rooms, well-lit work desk, in-room refrigerators/microwaves, complimentary Wi-Fi, Paul Mitchell hair care amenities, nightly cookies and daily housekeeping. UVM, St. Mikes and Champlain College all within 10 minutes. Shop at Maple Tree Place, University Mall or Church Street Market. Entertainment abounds at Higher Ground, Flynn Theater and Champlain Valley Expo. Lake Champlain Cruises and waterfront attractions just minutes away.
Cons: No hangers in room. Orange juice just water. No forks. Had to ask for eggs. Breakfast was a disappointment.
Pros: Highly recommend this hotel!! Rooms are spacious, staff is friendly and helpful, pool is fun, breakfast is good, room was clean.
Cons: Pull out couch was not comfortable.
Cons: It is a beat up hotel that needs some attention to detail. The room had a patio that looks like it had never been cleaned. At 7 AM the fire alarm went off and we were told to go outside for 2 hours and nobody on staff acknowledged the inconvenience, let alone apologized. There is no way I could stay here again.
Cons: Beds were old and uncomfortable.
Visit Baymont Inn and Suites Essex Burlington Area located close to area attractions like the University of Vermont, St. Michaels College, Essex Outlets, restaurants, downtown Burlington and popular ski resorts. On-site amenities include indoor heated pool, fitness center, business center, conference and banquet space and complimentary continental breakfast at the Baymont Breakfast Corner. All guest rooms are equipped with complimentary WiFi, HDTV and coffee maker. Pets are welcome and multiple room suites are available for guests looking for additional space.
Pros: Great staff and breakfast. Love the pool and fitness room.Room is clean, location is easy to find.
Cons: Room is a bit dated and parking gets tricky if all the spots by your room are full.
Pros: The staff were friendly (even when we didn't get there until 1 am, after the airline managed to lose our car seats between flights), rooms were quiet and clean, and I was amazed by the exercise room. Most have a few weights, a treadmill, and not much else. This was fully equipped with weight machines for a quality workout, plus two treadmills and an elliptical. My only regret was that we couldn't stay longer so I could take full advantage of the pool and exercise room. My girls loved the indoor pool and hot tub, and the breakfast was great too. This is my top choice the next time we travel to Burlington.

Pros: I loved having a fireplace in the room, just wish that we were told we needed to get our own firewood. I also loved that our dog could be included in our trip
Cons: The maid that cleaned all weekend was loud and slammed doors. I understanding she's cleaning and it looked like it was just her but a slamming door is not what I want to wake up to at 730 am
Just 3.8 mi (6.1 km) from the airport, Sonesta ES Suites Burlington VT puts you within a 15-minute drive of University of Vermont and Church Street Marketplace. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool, and the spa tub makes for a relaxing end to the day. Pros: They gave us access to the club and fixed our date errors! Great service, great staff, very friendly. Would stay again.
Pros: Comfortable bed, friendly staff, clean room
Cons: No fridge or microwave in room and paid for a "deluxe" room. Hotel is a strange layout.
Pros: The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The bathroom was big. Great location. Free parking and shuttle to downtown.
Cons: The breakfast in the Club Floor 4th was not very good. The eggs tasted very bad.
Pros: Room and dinning area were very nice
Cons: They did not honor the Kayak price so, it cost and additional $90 to stay. Please be aware of this.
Pros: Big room. Big shower. Comfortable bed.
Free shuttle from airport; arrived quickly.
Nice restaurant was open late.
Cons: No place to hang suits in room.
Was given a double room for no good reason; voluntarily kept it instead of changing rooms on 2nd night.
Mixed up parts of bill that were supposed to go to me vs. what goes to the company. Wound up with entire room rate on my card for what I though was a prepaid room, but receipt was mailed to company not to me.
Pros: Room had peeling paint on the ceiling- not something I want to see at over $200 for a night!!
Pros: Club room
Cons: Pool and gym poor
Pros: Storm absolutely rocked it with customer service. I hope the Storm never ends.
Pros: Great bar
Cons: Expensive buffet

Cons: Each morning there was no hot water. There wasn't even any hot water pressure and we all received reduced rates. We will not be going back there next year
Pros: location as good for what we needed
Cons: room was musty and damp
Pros: Good out of the way location, but very convenient. request a room which faces toward the back. The view was relaxing and lovely and quiet. I suspect the front rooms which face Rt. 7 are quite noisy, especially at the morning rush.
Cons: The room air conditioner was ancient, the knobs were missing, and it cycled through every few minutes. Each time it started it sounded as if a motorcycle was revving up.
Pros: The price.
Cons: I didn't like the spider in my towel, and I didn't like my muffin at the breakfast w/mold inside. I mostly hated the pillows in our room. I hated the fact that there was no iron. The vending area had towels under the one machine and it stunk. We will not go there again.

Pros: The staff was very nice
Pros: Close to airport. Good location.
Cons: Bathroom was too small.
Room was muggy.
Pros: Room was spotless. Bed very comfortable. Staff very accommodating.
Cons: Should have shuttle service to church street( height of restaurants and shopping) and the waterfront
