Great rental experience in Bari. Nice car. Took out kayak insurance when booking. No hassle at counter to buy additional insurance. Took photos of car on pickup and return. No vehicle issues. Dropped off car at 6am. No attendant. Parked I. Their lot and stopped off keys inside terminal at Thrifty counter. Easy experience. One thing worth mentioning....fill up car night before. Using the gas pump near the airport was challenging. Luckily a local helped us out. Pump required pin for our credit card. Luckily we had it. Never needed it when using it elsewhere.

I was most disappointed to receive an email from Hertz stating there was damage to the vehicle. They have taken photos of my new blemishes on the rims that were already there. They have also identified an area on the back quarter panel near a rear light where there was pre-existing damage. Luckily, I have a video and photos showing all of the damage, that was already there. Just really disappointed that hurts is another one of the rental agency companies that is trying to charge their customers the deductible for minor things or items that were already on the vehicle. This is happened multiple times to me when travelling to Italy and it is a real disappointment.

Nice, helpful staff. Our train was delayed, so we arrived during the siesta (Hertz Bari was closed 1300-1530, then the staff person who could check us out was delayed by his own train until after 1600. We were disappointed to lose ~3 hours at our one night at a “splurge” masseria. Car was great & allowed us to explore Puglia! We got a hybrid, so helped with gas mileage too!

Everything was easy in-terms of getting the car and dropping it off. The pricing was not aligned through with what I booked. My reservation was in dollars, but when I got there everything was presented in Euros which obviously is more. When I returned the car (5 hours past my scheduled arrival time to be clear), the rate they charged me for the additional day was 2.5x what my other days rates were. Overall they were fine, but don't expect the same price you booked online

We liked the good value for money, and the car itself was just what we wanted and had no issues. It was not completely clean though when we received it, nor did it come full of fuel- under half a tank. The pick up and collection from the car park was fine and very quick. It was the wait time at the drivalia desk to sign the contract and pay the deposit which took too long. We joined the queue at 10:30am and we’re not at the front until 12:00pm. We were not in a rush but other customers were as they had plans or connections to make.

We haven't been informed that Italy requests international driving licence. We waited 2.5 hours in the line to take the car and at the end the officer of EuropCar told us that you cannot rent a car here. Very disappointed.

These guys are the worst. Watch out for all kinds of hidden charges and if anyone tells you anything about your rental, make sure you get it in writing. These guys are supreme scam artists. Don’t get suckered like I did.

Awful experience. I regularly rent cars when going abroad and this has been the worst experience. Their ‘offices’ are in the middle of nowhere, they don’t make it clear enough that you need to get a shuttle. The shuttle is driven by someone who’s constantly on their phone driving dangerously. Once we arrived they told me I needed an international driving license as they couldn’t accept mine which is from the UK. This information as well as the information that they do not take AMEX was disclosed nowhere in the booking emails I have received. They offered an ‘alternative’ where I pay over €100 insurance which is non refundable for a days rental which is ridiculous. Ended up booking with Hertz on the day who were surprised my driving license wasn’t accepted. Please don’t waste your money and go with the big ones.

Terrible experience. Car rental had moved locations & for whatever reason, Expedia had the wrong address which is where we showed up with our baby and all of our luggage.
