They barely even help you anymore at this point wirh a live human. My reservation was wrong at the desk according to them, so I of course owed more money. No one walks you out to the car to assist or help ensure you’re all set and know how to use the vehicle. My car was set to German and it took my driving all the way to my hotel an hour away to get someone to help me figure out how to change it. Was not easy. Then u get the final bill emailed in Italian, despite them knowing I’m an American citizen who speaks English. So I have no idea how to read it and why I’m being charged more. Pros:Honestly nothing. It took nearly two hours to get the car. The line was incredibly slow and a total mess. We had reserved an Audi, but they only had a Ford Focus, and tried to claim it was in the same class. Then they tried to up sell us. They were doing the same thing to everyone.Cons:The pick up process was a total mess. They are very deceptive in the classes of car that they advertise. It took about two hours to actually get a car. Would never rent from this Avis again. Allow yourself time for the return as that also takes longer than it should.Reviewed Sep 24 2019

Excellent customer service in BariPros:Efficient and quick. Good instructions and signage. Drop off employee was very friendly and communicated our small issue to the manager right away. Manager was friendly and open to resolving our small issue with a previously damaged windshield wiper.Cons:The pickup employee in the lot was told that the windshield wiper was damaged but he did nothing to change it or repair it, leaving us with a wiper that left streaks whenever we used the wipers. The Fiat 500L is great but takes getting used to for North American drivers since it's a Manual/Automatic hybrid. The rolling backwards when in Reverse and slow acceleration on the highway were scary at times.Reviewed Jun 26 2017
