Be aware of extra costs that they are adding /trying to add after you have booked the car from Kayak. Car shape was very poor (scratches, leaking tyre etc.)

They are one of those agencies that requires you to pay for insurance, on top of your booking fee. They were kind enough to notify me via email that they are like that before it was too late to cancel for free.

Very bad. We paid by card $14 for two days, but when we went to get the car they ask us to pay 7 times this price plus $150 as a deposit. Why not to tell us the truth from the beginning, so we know the exact price. I am asking for paying me back the $14.

No shuttle came to the airport. I called 4 times and got no answer so I had to take a cab with my two kids for $25. I reserved a mid-sized SUV for $175 at 4pm. We get to the counter and there is no line. There is a woman sitting at a desk behind the counter scrolling her phone. I asked if she worked for America Car Rental. She said yes and then looked back down on her phone. I asked if she could help me and she told me to wait. After about 8 minutes of watching her continue to scroll her phone she comes to help us. She tells me because I am over an hour late for my reservation, they no longer have the car I reserved, they only have a full-size sedan. Please note that it was 5:02. Had they actually sent a shuttle or had their employee working, we would have been WELL within the one hour window. I could go on and on about how terrible it was but basically they up-charged me with fees and add-ons that I didn't want or need. The employee told me I could either pay $500 (PLUS a $300 deposit) for a smaller car than I initially booked or I could leave. I was at the end of a VERY long travel day with my two little kids so heading back to the airport wasn't an option at this point. I just gave them my credit card and have been monitoring it very closely since because this place is absolutely criminal.

1. This rental agency was listed as being part of the terminal at MIA airport. I specifically chose this agency rather than a cheaper option so I did not need to take a shuttle bus to an off site rental agency with my 4 month old son. Turns out I had to take 2 shuttles to get to the off-site location! 2. It took FOREVER to actually get my car from the counter. 3. They surprise you with fees such as requiring you to pay a daily fee for using their toll pass. The cost of this rental was supposed to be 100 for My trip. But it ended up being more than twice that. 4. You don’t even get to choose your specific car. They just pull up a random car and tell me this is my car.
