The car was comfortable and efficient so we didn't have to overspend on gas.1) The price should reflect all the fees (insurance etc.) not only one of 3 or 4, which make the total. Was a very confusing and unpleasant experience with that. 2) I understand that it would be as bonus information, but you could send also some basic travel info with the confirmation email or, preferably, even before. What I mean: about fares that could be incurred (we had to pay 40 euro to enter Switzerland and another 40 to use the autobahn) and similar useful advice. Although you can attract more people showing just the basic price, at least according to my logic, less people are likely to reuse your service after a low-quality experience, such as me and my fellow travelers had.

The car was clean. The representative absolutely refused to let us have the car unless we took insurance that cost more than the rental price. She said per Thrifty policy CDW and other extras could not be waived without a coverage certification from our credit card company RELATING TO THIS SPECIFIC RENTAL (by date and location -- credit card contract which clearly explained coverage was not good enough). This was not mentioned when making the reservation so of course we didn't have it. And by that point we were at this remote location without other transportation during the holiday season.
