Pros: Not much to like considering they didn't want to part with their vehicle.
Cons: Not sure what the point of making a reservation is and getting to Hertz for them to tell us they didn't have a vehicle for us, even though the minivan was sitting right there in the lot. Not something you want to deal with when you are trying to make a 13 hour drive across states to find out the rental company, Hertz, doesn't want to part with the vehicle that was reserved for you to begin with. Needless to say, we won't ever choose Hertz again, would rather pay a little more for someone willing to help.

Pick up changed, price changed, nothing worked as
Pros: The car itself seems ok alright the tire is having issues.
However Kayak, the companies it would with and Hertz ask left me wishing I had never used them.
My pickup location was changed from the Nashville airport to an office close by. When I asked if they could move it they said sure then my bill went up over 100.00.
I called in only to be ignored because your system sent bought the reservation from price line. They told me it's kayaks fault and at the end of the day I'm eating the bill over this issue.
I will not be using your service again and I will be advising others of the same. No one took accountability and left me feeling with an issue I never would have had to deal with.

Pros: Mechanically sound
Cons: Horrible smoke smell that never went away even with Lysol spray, Frebreeze vent air freshener and essential oil. Cigarette burn on drivers seat. Rank smell and stain in trunk of something like sour milk.

Pros: The Mgr. was polite and efficient The car was fine.
Cons: The sign at Opryland saying Hertz takes you to a parking lot. Instead of telling you to go in the Opryland Hotel and down a long hallway to a tiny kiosk.

Cons: Car smelled like cigar and/or cigarettes. It was dirty and the key fobs battery was low so the car wouldn't always lock and unlock. Very frustrating!!

Expected Better Quality Car
Pros: The customer service team was fantastic! I used the check in kiosk at the Nashville International Airport and the representative was very helpful! My reservation was actually for a different location and she helped me get a comparable rate from the airport location. I would rate her service as 5 star.
Cons: I have rented cars from several different providers over the years and have varied experiences. I chose Hertz because they had a good price, and I was trying to watch my travel budget. Unfortunately, the base model Hyundai car was lacking some of the convenience features I typically like to see in a rental. I have rented much higher quality cars for a similar price from different providers. I would recommend updating the rental fleet with better quality cars in a similar budget price range. I will probably shy away from Hertz in the future unless it has substantial savings.

The only place to rent!
Pros: We loved the car; I would like this car to rent again (Hyundai).
The car was very easy to drive and handle on the Road.
Kyle was so sweet, easy to talk to, while renting a car.
Cons: Well, I loved this company and the car.no problems

Pros: The car drove fairly well and got good gas mileage.
Cons: They didn't have the carseat we had ordered and called ahead to make sure they had, the car smelled like cigarettes, then I had to chase a car seat down at another location that turned out to not actually be a carseat.
Pros: The staff member had everything ready to go and I wad in and out efficiently.
Cons: Car was parked in an odd spot that required a littl maneuvering to get going.

Wrong price charged then what was quoted
Pros: My reservation got all messed up and they had my location wrong and I had to drive an hour away to pick my car up so the guy said he would give our suburban for $150 total for my trouble and when I picked it up there was no note of it and I was charged $285
Pros: Employees very nice/helpful. Upgrading me right away when they saw i was traveling w/massage table & needed more room!

Pros: Everyone was very friendly and professional.
Cons: When I was looking for a rental on Kayak I specifically said I wanted to rent from the Nashville airport. I did not realize the car I ended up renting was in a different town (20 minutes away), not just at an off-site airport rental. Interestingly, even with a $20 Ubber ride, the car from Madison was $150 cheaper than renting from the airport.

Pros: The employees were very nice!
Cons: I had two cars to choose from. Both smelled like smoke. The employees tried very hard to neutralize the smell but it didn't work. My only recourse was to drive out to Nashville airport in order to exchange the car. The employees at Nashville Airport we're extremely accommodating and gave us a great car, but I should have never had to do that. They should have brought the car to me.
