Cons: I went to pick up the car only to found the location is permanently closed. I went to the location listed on the notice attached to the door only to find that location was also closed. What year is this? Why did I have to call customer service repeatedly to find a solution. We wasted half a day running around Paris trying to find an Avis location that was open. A large corporation doesn't get in touch with a customer to keep them updated. ABSOLUTELY NO CONTACT FROM AVIS!!!!! HoORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!
Pros: Enterprise was great but the Kayak app kept messing up and changing our dates. It very very very inconvenient.
Cons: Tried twice to book the car. First time we showed up at Avis and Kayak had changed the date from April 5th to April 18th so we had to rebook it at a different location and take a train 30 minutes somewhere else. When we got there the app had changed the drop off destination from the airport (where we wanted to drop it) to the original rental location. Causing us to pay another $40. Basically the app changed both rentals and caused us to pay more and be inconvenienced twice.
