Pros: The price was good and the car was cleanCons: The drop off location that was listed on our rental agreement was permanently closed and we had to drive to a different location, which was very frustrating.

10.0 ExcellentAug 20 2019
Pros: Staff was friendly. For drop off they came right out to the car shortly after I parked. Whole process was simple.Cons: Every company tries to pressure you to buy the extra insurance. I didn’t like that they pointed out I was liable for the entire price of the car and then wrote down the price as if to emphasize the point.
8.4 ExcellentAug 7 2019
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, pick and drop off was convenient. One thing to note - all of the service for dollar was provided by Hertz, may be they are affiliated in Europe.Cons: Insurance coverage was too expensive. We didn't purchase it, but could have if it was reasonable.

Cons: Give specific directions to pickup and drop off locations. I had to keep car an extra day because I couldn't find the drop off location.

Pros: Staff was excellent. Pick up was efficient and easyCons: The location I returned at ,Calle Proncesa, Madrid, is very hard to find, and the cars actually live in a parking garage down the )busy, city center) street. The drop off address in the contract is the office, not the garage, which caused major troubles for me.

Worst car rental everPros: Nothing.Cons: 1. They would not rent the car to us even though we had a valid drivers license, passport and credit card. 2. Did not have said car available. 3. Pretencious and unhelpful staff.
5.2 OkaySep 5 2018
Process Was a NightmarePros: The car was clean.Cons: The pickup process was absolutely terrible. There was a price discrepancy that made the transaction 3 times more than our reservation. I called customer service and they were woefully unhelpful. Their solution was to "speak to a manager." The car was not what I requested. The "add insurance" link on the website seemed to be broken.

Pros: Great car for a great price. Staff was helpful and accommodating. Car felt safe for long drives at highway speeds. Car did have a decent number of scratches when we picked it up, but all were noted and confirmed before we left the lot.Cons: Pickup location at Seville Santa Justa is properly marked via map apps and is not location inside of the train station (like other companies are). The office is outside to the left, down a slight hill. Note that Dollar/Thirfty/Hertz are all the same, and Dollar is only a small sign (look for Hertz).
Sevilla airport staff are wonderfulPros: The woman who helped us in the Sevilla airport was very friendly and indulged our desire to practice Spanish, but switched to English when it was important that we understand exactly what we were getting into.Cons: I didn´t like that automatic transmission cars cost so much more than manual transmission cars.
Pros: The staff was friendly, and helped me al lot.Cons: The price I had to pay was a lot more and was not told before so we in the last minute I had to get an other car.

Pros: I reserved at remote location - near interstate so not to drive in historic city center of Seville Spain. When I arrived the car was not ready...I waited for it to be washed then they drove the car offsite to refuel. My entire check in plus wait time for wash & fuel was over an hour.Cons: Everything regarding check- in. Info that drop off location was NOT at airport would have been helpful as well. The agent at drop off destination was excellent.

International drivers licensePros: International drivers license The car was great and the people attending us were very nice. It took way too long.Cons: Upon getting the car we were notified that we needed an international drivers license. In the FinePrint it does say you need an international drivers license but we feel that I need for an international drivers license needs to be highlighted from the get go. It should not be included in the fine print. I have been living in traveling abroad for the last 20 years and I have never experienced this. If this is a new policy it really needs to be stressed. big fees even after cancelationCons: I have been told than an non US citizen could not take the insurance. So I cancelled the reservation. No problem with the the rental car company but I have been charged on my visa card of 43,42 + 0,85 euros by the ALLIANZ company (the 15 12 2016).

Reserved Car Was UnavailablePros: All the staff with whom I spoke were very nice.Cons: The car that I had initially reserved (compact size automatic transmission) was unavailable. The only alternative automatic trans car was a giant 7-seater SUV, which would have been impossible to fit down the narrow streets of Seville. Ended up going with a medium-size SUV in manual transmission. Not ideal as I'm not incredibly comfortable driving stick, so it made for a more challenging drive than I would have liked.

Easy and straightforwardPros: We had a great experience. All the staff was helpful and we got a great deal on our car. No complaints.
Fake pricePros: Last minute rentalCons: Was asked if I wanted manual or auto for 5 euros more. Turns out both were auto when I wanted to go with a manual. Signed a contract saying I would pay around 150 euro and got charged over 70 euro extra.
Pros: Friendly and patient staff.Cons: Long wait in line
6.0 GoodAug 12 2019
Pros: The car and staff was greatCons: The process of getting and dropping off the car was not easy. Signage for drop off is not clear nor was instructions and there was no attendant to help. The cost was far more than originally anticipated. Not worth the price when you account for fuel and tolls.

Helpful but kinda felt a over a barrel...Pros: Ended up liking the car we had althought an SUV in Europe is a little large when it comes to finding parking.Cons: My fault we missed out check in time by a about 3+ hours and were informed only hold car for 2 hours. And said had no cars. Felt offered most expensive car on lot with not a lot of help, kind of take it or leave it. Felt a little held over a barrel. Usually don’t rent from hertz so had no relationship so that may have hurt a little too.

Rental car in Spain.Pros: The car was a Fiat 500 hatchback and was an excellent car, especially for the price. It was a manual transmission so may have been a little less expensive but I enjoyed the driving. If you are not comfortable with a manual, because of the hills and need to squeeze into and out of parking, you may want to get an automatic transmission. The only problem with driving in Spain is the fuel prices are 2x the price in the states and, if you want to get from one city to the next quickly, you need to pay very high tolls. A GPS is a must if you don’t understand the language. The roads are a true maze.

After 3 weeks I finally received my money back for this extra charges, but I have no idea why I was charged.Cons: Now they are asking me for 204euro for a scratch I didn't made it, as at drop-off I checked the car with an Sixt employee and everything was fine

worse car rental compnay in europePros: nothingCons: having used major rental companies many times during the year, one expects to get in/out of airports quickly. Sixt customer service is poor, the cars are old and not cleaned. they try to sell you insurance and upgrades in every occasion by telling you car is not ready. on return most likley they hold you responsible for scratches that you as a individual generally don't notice when you pick up cars so they can claim damages from you.
Pros: Car was greatCons: The process of “blocking” money on my credit card was completely wrong and they charged me then gave me a refund after the return. The problem here is that the result of charging rather than blocking meant the refunded difference once in my account left €40 less! Terrible customer service due to ACE Rentals seemingly being owned by two companies - Goldcar and Rhodium. After I complained to the company I have had no response other than “money has been refunded”. €40 was over half our original rental cost.
Very badCons: When I arrive todo de airport They do not know the reserve

Hidden Charge!Cons: On a 3 day rental the price between competitors is pretty close- so to be told there was a 30 Euro charge for fuel servicing before even getting the vehicle is outrageous. There is no option not to pay this- even if you return with a full tank- and guess what, it's in the small print on your voucher, but which you only get after you have already paid and booked. Disgraceful.
One of the distinct advantages of renting a car while in Sevilla is that it opens up the famed Andalusian countryside for your exploration. For instance, the Roman city of Itálica is just about an hour outside of Sevilla and, while you could take a local bus there, you could also take the chance to explore on your own and experience the road for yourself.
Looking to pick up a rental car after your flight to Sevilla lands? For travelers arriving at Sevilla Airport, they will find the car rental desks on the ground floor of the airport’s main terminal and the rental car lots in adjacent parking lots a short walk away.
Drivers new to Spain may find one driving law particularly confusing at first; namely, the flashing lights. Spanish law requires that drivers signal before and during all road maneuvers. Thus drivers will often flash their lights before they pass you on the highway. For drivers new to Spain, this can be quite confusing at first, but after seeing it a few times you will get used to it.
Sevilla, as one of the major cities of Spain, unfortunately suffers from moderate congestion, most particularly during the daily rush hour. Drivers new to Spain should note that many Spanish cities have four rush hours instead of the normal two. For instance, in Sevilla, the rush hours go from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., 3:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. The main streets to avoid during these times include the southern portion of Ronda de Circunvalacion SE-30 and Paseo de Las Delicias.
