The Hyatt Regency Chicago is a classic hotel with a modern twist and all the bells and whistles. It sprawls out with its vast selection of rooms and larger than life lounging spaces. It is graced with a modern flare thanks to simple, yet functional and attractive furniture. Its lines are clean, to the point, and draw the gaze upwards and outwards to the city that looms outside.
The Hyatt Regency benefits from large windows that both let in welcoming light and allow guests to get a gander at the beautiful city outside. The hotel is a short 12-minute walk from Millenium Park as well as the famous Magnificent Mile and all of the shopping stops therein.

Great location, great amenities, super clean, 10 out of 10.
I loved the convenience of being in the middle of the mile, we walked everywhere! The Bartenders in both bars were very nice and full of knowledgeable. I didn’t like the long walk from the elevator to our room. And the bed sheets had a small rip that looked like someone tried to patch. The room was spacious, and comfortable. I would stay again.
Incredible view, great staff. They are tuned in to the environment with wall mounted dispensers for the toiletries. Must save tons of plastic bottles. You can opt to have your room serviced, saving water with loads of laundry. The location was excellent, on the Riverwalk, an easy walk to great restaurants.
Read resorts daily fee policy and credit careful to make full use of it.
Dirty and old
Staff could have checked refrigerator. There were some food left by previous ones. We end up cleaning that. Otherwise room and service was good. Parking was expensive.

Cons (-) Being not from the area, I needed to know how to manipulate the underground or getting around inside, bad snow outside unprepared for that!

The parking is way too expensive for each night. The West Tower is under construction so there is some back and forth between sides to enter and exit the property. When I paid extra to get a Riverview instead I got about a small portion of Riverview. My mini fridge was leaking and things in the room seem very outdated.
