Comfortable rooms Nice facilities
Staff was not very helpful or nice Expensive Bad location Far from town
Absolutely unacceptable and unsanitarity that the beds not have Duvet cover!
Our room had an excellent view, guest services was extremely helpful any time we needed anything, even with the most minor of things. The hotel is within walking distance of the magnificent mile, Millenium park, Shedd aquarium, and the Field museum. The Lincoln Park zoo is only 5 miles away, so this hotel is in the perfect location. We really enjoyed the view that we had from our room, being on the upper floors lets you look over all of Chicago.
The only complaint I would have wold be the cleaning of the room. We found a bottle cap just sitting on the floor near one of the chairs, and I know it wasn't ours because we are not of age to drink. The other problem was the bathroom floor. When I stepped out of the shower I stepped on the tile and there was some sticky substance all over the floor by the sink.
Jeff helped us check in and he definetly set the tone. He was very welcoming, suggested some places to see in Chicago, and upgraded our room for our anniversary. The best customer service we have experienced in a while. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The view was amazing and it was close to a bus route. An anniversary to remember. Thanks Hyatt.
Very clean friendly helpful staff good value
Not enough resturaunt bar staff
Loved everything about this hotel
Nothing to dislike
Beautiful shower. Clean room. Nice view.
Shower head could stand to be farther out from the wall. Didnt like the fact that you had to use your room key for the elevator after 11 a.m. We al missed reading the sign and thought that 2 elevators were broken. I would change it so that the sign is in red or that the elevator door doesnt even open without a room key.
Room was very modern, bathroom was cool and spotless! Perfect location for attending events at McCormick Place. Room was very quiet and comfortable. We would stay here again.
Shower lacked water pressure. WIFI did not work well the whole weekend. Plan on lots of extra costs, overpriced food in the entire McCormick Place complex, parking $34/day.
The room was comfortable and had all the things a weary traveller needed for a good night's sleep on a cross-country drive.
A fuse blew shortly after I checked in and it took a while to find and fix it.
Enjoyed my time there. Staff was very nice and helpful.. especially the night doorman! He was understanding, and gave us great tips for getting around downtown with all the changes in the roads due to the Thanksgiving Parade!
you need- 2 x bars, 2 x rest, 2 x taxis
Location was great for the All Blacks vs USA rugby match. Every member of the staff said hello. The room service was great, and the room was fantastic!.
It really wasn't a huge issue but there wasn't a ton of water pressure in the shower head, but other than that everything was great!
-Handsome room, especially the bathroom. -Very good bed and linens -Very quiet room and surroundings -Complimentary Wifi
- Not much nearby: at least a mile to train stop, pharmacy, coffee shops, bars restaurants, and shops. -Concierge was pretty clueless about what was cool or desirable in the greater Chicago area. - No complimentary breakfast
Close to Convention center
My room was next door to the laundry room-constant rumbling of the washing vibrating the wall AND the TV in the laundry room was always on high - ugh
