Chabl Resort & Spa welcomes spa aficionados to 40 deluxe villas with private pools in the heart of the Mayan forest. Imagined as a hedonistic and utterly private retreat, the haciendas centerpiece is its incredible spa built beside a cenote natural cave formations believed to be sacred to the Mayans. Chabl immediately immerses guests in the rich culture and history of the region, creating an authentic experience that harmoniously blends nature, luxury and an unmistakable sense of place.
Pros: The calmness and quaint spaces are unique but the culinary experience is something to comeback
Cons: Biking around the property, the amazing spa with all the wellness experiences, I did as much as I could. You really need time to live this place
Pros: The spa is absolutely amazing as well as the entire property.
Pros: Beautiful property. Authentic and tastefully designed. Helpful staff. Wish we coukd have stayed longer
Cons: AC. It would cut out when it reached the temperature and restart rather than blowing air all the time
Pros: Best hotel experience ever
Cons: Nothing really...
Pros: Everything is perfect. Best experience ever in a hotel.
Pros: Everything - was the most perfect place I have ever stayed.
Pros: The price is way more than what would could find for an Hacienda hotel around the area but trust me, you won't find something like this anywhere in the world! The landscape is perfect everywhere you see it! The service, architecture and food were amazing! The rooms have moon showers, private heated pool with hammock, private terrace and an integrated sound system. The staff is amazing and the spa is a must do! We experienced meditation and yoga classes in front of the Cenote! Simply WOW!
Cons: There shouldn't be a TV! The landscape is more than enough!
Pros: Everything & everyone.
Cons: Not a single fault
Pros: This is a "best-kept secret" property. Everything is perfect. SPA, Casitas, Staff, Troleys, and Rocco the property manager made sure we were well attended 24h
Cons: Food options are limited. Main restaurant menu could include simpler fair
Pros: The Spa, Pool Spa, Villa plunge pool with hammock. The design- beautiful colonial setting in an old Hacienda with a beautiful Cenote. The bathroom, outdoor shower. Breakfast was delicious - one of the best Avo-toasts I’ve ever had.
Cons: A bit too overpriced for what it is. I’ve stayed in more luxurious resorts in the world for less the price. If the service and food were EXTRA BETTER, EXCEPTIONAL OR UNFORGETTABLY GOOD, I wouldn’t mind paying more than a thousand dollars a night - but they JUST WEREN’T...so I guess $1200 a night is not worth it at all and way overpriced for what you’re experiencing. Room service food was mediocre at best. Main Restaurant food was a bit pretentious and not full-on in flavor but super pretty with the plating - I personally prefer food that concentrates on being delicious first. Thank god the breakfast was really delicious!

Isolate yourself from the common world by taking an enchanting trip to Hacienda Temozon, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Temozon Sur. Our hotel is in the heart of the famous Yucatan Peninsula, enabling easy access to local attractions such as Hacienda Yaxcopoil, Cenote Yaal Utzil and Peba Yucatan. We boast story-like character through coral walls, white moldings and Mayan architecture. The beautiful garden path, standout facade and picturesque pool will have you in awe before even stepping foot into our hotel. High ceilings and natural light create an inspiring room atmosphere for when you settle in. You'll also be surrounded by impressive cultural décor, such as large double doors and Spanish tile. Don't leave without visiting our on-site spa, uniquely located in a cenote. Various massage options are on the table for a memorable couples retreat, along with body scrubs and facials. Come and enjoy a vacation experience unlike any other at Hacienda Temozon, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Temozon Sur.
Pros: Beautiful hacienda, nicely renovated, good place to stay also if you plan to visit Uxmal. Great food at the restaurant on the hacienda. We really enjoyed our stay there.
Pros: Beautiful, authentic Hacienda in a fantastic location
Cons: The final price did was higher than the booking price as taxes were not included, nor a service fee imposed by the hotel. We were negatively surprised by how much higher the final price was and this was our only disappointment with the Hacienda. Pricing should be more transparent in the booking price!
Pros: We loved the authenticity of the place and the link with its agricultural past
Cons: They Should upgrade the quality of the alcohol in the bar...the top tequila ok the menu was not available
Pros: This hotel was a slice of luxury close to Merida. We stayed here as part of a tour of Mexico during a two week holiday. We had visited Mexico City, Oaxaca then here before Izamal, Valladolid and Tulum and it was truly special. It’s in the middle of two small towns and in the heart of a forest so the wildlife you see and hear is fantastic. The service is exceptional and the food was fantastic. The building and he fact it’s an old working hacienda blew us away, at every corner there is something to look at. We had a walking tour and bird watching with Robert who is of Mayan decent and this was fascinating, Marvin helped arranged this and a cake for my husbands birthday and we received first class service in the restaurant. Little touches like the candles being lit when you come back to your room I loved! The room itself was huge and retained some fantastic characteristics. I will stay here again I will make sure of it and I would recommend this hotel for anyone traveling through the Yucatán...it’s a must see!
Pros: We especially enjoyed the hand-drawn hot tub/bath just outside of our room. Also the staff in the restaurant were especially nice and gave me a free dessert because it was my birthday! Very sweet!
Cons: There could have been more pipian sauce on the chicken pipian.
Pros: Great hotel in an amazing surrounding
Pros: Staff was very friendly
Cons: They were setting up for a wedding which distracted from the experience.
Pros: The property is an old peaceful hacienda, which has been adapted and remodel to create a hotel. It is surrounded by nature and you could hear the birds singing in the morning. The rooms are big, the bathroom is huge, and it has its own private small pool. The decoration is nice, with attention to details. The pool is big. The massages are good.
Cons: The price for the stay, the spa, and for the food in the property is very expensive. Considering the location, which is a property surrounded by nature, the room has a lot of insects. There are small cracks in the borders of doors and windows that allow insects to crawl into the room. The food quality could improve, there were some dishes that were on the menu but were not available when ordering. There was a lot of dust in the room. The internet signal was very poor throughout the property.
