The location is right by North Market, and the staff is extremely helpful and friendly. We were traveling because we had to move out of the dorms early due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The hotel has taken careful measures to make sure things are clean and to minimize people gathering. They are handling it very well.
I had booked 2 nights with a suite but our plans changed. I sent a message to through booking.com after speaking to a representative on the phone about needing to cancel the first night. There was a charge of 300 dollars I was hoping to get waived. He couldn’t help me and said it was up to property to decide to waive fee but when I called property they said it was up to booking .com. I phoned again after submitting my request through the app and was told I would hear in 48 hours. I heard nothing so I called Friday night to make sure they knew I wasn’t coming Friday night but would be checking in Saturday. Well when I got there my room was gone and I had to take a king bed instead of 2 queen which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. They reduced the price from $400 and something to $300 and something for my trouble. Disappointing and I will most likely book directly through hotel from now on as booking.com was awful.
Property is great I have started there often
The friendly staff, love James and Clifford!!
The lady at the front desk was very rude when I called with questions and checked in an out.
Shower was nice
Uncomfortable and small pillows made it a very bad night sleep. Bed wasn’t great either. Surprisingly expensive parking - $27 is just ridiculous when the hotel was already costly enough. I didn’t think the price of the hotel matched up to what it provided. Much better and nicer hotels are available in downtown for the same price or less, especially when you include the parking
