Pros: "Not much. They did put me in a nice hotel for 2 nights when their late arrival caused me to miss my connecting flight."
Cons: "Food was a bag of chips Flight was over 2 hours late causing me to miss connecting flight to destination. Jet Blue claimed they could not put me on the next flight because it was full and was on another airline. They put me in a hotel for the remainder of the night , all the next day and the following night. I had paid for a 4 day vacation at a resort in Argentina so my 4 day stay became a 2 day stay because Jet Blue would not purchase a seat from a booked passenger on the next flight as I requested. I will never use this airline again and would strongly advise anyone who wants or needs to be at their destination on time avoid them."

Cons: "Night flights should include blankets and pillows. (at no extra cost) Just like a hotel. Traveling with bulky blankets and pillows in order to be able to sleep on a night flight is not always possible. JB provides eyemask and ear plugs, which is ridiculous. I can bring my own eyemask and ear plugs. I even paid extra for upgrade seats! The headrests are not adjustable and the recline is barely noticeable. It was a long 6 hour flight! No entertainment. I have flown other airlines to South America and been able to enjoy full feature recent release films, TV shows and games. Why can't JB figure out how to do that on their international flights? No meals. All other airlines offer meal service on their international flights. I pay as much for JB flights as I have for other airlines going to South America. The value for JB tickets just isn't there. To fly JB, picture yourself getting on board with your own pillows, blankets, entertainment and food. That about sums it up."

Cons: "Flight was delayed 2 hours. Then when we arrived to NYC the airplane sat on the runway another hour. Total delay times ran more than 3 hours. I don't mind delays ... they are part of travel life ... however I expect exceptional service or some type of credit or a massive warm good bye when De-boarding the plane. None of the above took place. Keep in mind. I NEVER complain and I also never write reviews. This time it felt necessary .... hopefully someone will actually listen to this valid complaint and make changes."

At the gate minutes before departure they extort me to buy a $350 refundable ticket which I can then cancel when I land. My refund will take 7-10 business days they say. I ask will the phone # for cancellation be on the tickets you are giving me? They say yes. A lie. I arrive in Nassau and head to Long Island Bahamas to visit family, on a boat, for an unspecified amount of time. The other 2 flights this year did not do this to me. They said it was jet blue policy, not Federal or national law. At no time has customs asked me to show my return tickets. Now I have to find internet access and find a # . I also have to make an international long distance call to cancel the flight and get my refund. What a hassle."

Ground crew disorganized feeding us excuses of weather (wx) which initially was a landing gear problem for first 1.5 hr delay then again WX and ATC not assigning a route(while other airlines departing no problem) then crew timed out then no plane & again waiting for crew...Seriously? What a management!!! Reading comments below this keeps repeating however this was about 13 hours delay. This company should quit!"

The company rerouted a different plane to take us since ours was going to be so late, turning a 2 1/2 hr delay into just a 1 hr delay. Boarding was super efficient, in flight service excellent. They comped us our headphones because of the delay, a nice touch. This is my 3rd great customer service experience with JB in as many months (the other 2 involved waiving charges to change flights, once gor me when I was suddenly ill, and for my cousin, when a changed circumstance made her need to travel on a different day, alone with 4 kids). Between Kayak and JetBlue app I got very frequent updates on flight status, but gate staff also were there and informed us in person."

Pros: "The check-in went quickly especially since I was in the pre TSA line. They need a better checked baggage system, if there are any exceptions to just dropping off and tagging bags the client should be moved to a problem area and not take time for corrections in the dropped bag lines. All that should be required would be ID & Boarding pass. The Kiosk should print both the boarding pass and luggage labels. My seat was fine, the passengers seated with me were medium sized so we didn't sit on top of each other. No food but the soft drinks were okay."

Two checked bags for free and a small one that fits under the seat for free would be safer for everyone. Charge for the carry-on that must go into the bin. $35 each that doesn't fit under the seat. More money for the airlines and safer conditions for passengers. I fear someone dropping a heavy carry-on on me as they reach over to lift baggage in the bin. One day someone will be injured badly and the airlines will be sued and things will change."

Cons: "The flight diverted to Washington DC delta crammed us into a 14 passenger uncomfortable van with only 12 of us in there they stopped us along side the highway about 20 minutes outside of Dulles to bring 2 more passengers. We waited for over an hour. Took 5 hours to drive us to New York and had to wait another 4 hours there for my flight to Boston. Not once was I offered a meal voucher. Only soda and first class snacks. I left ft lauderdale at 5pm Friday and walked in my door at 11:45am Saturday morning. Ruined my whole weekend. All from the airline who claims they haven't cancelled a flight in over 90 days. No wonder the Middle East airlines are killing them"

Cons: "My sister’s checked in luggage was in poor shape when we got it in Albany. We noticed an outside compartment was unzipped. So we checked to see if anything was missing and a souvenir from Mexico was gone. Then we realized a zipper was missing from the luggage and then decided to check all the other compartments and realized her bag of jewelry was gone. The woman at baggage services in Albany told us Delta is not responsible for lost belongings. Also tried to tell us theft is not an issue because there are cameras everywhere. Well you are telling someone that is missing a bag of jewelry that theft is not a problem. Also, there may be cameras everywhere but I doubt anyone is going to review those cameras to see what happened. I will never fly Delta again."

Pros: "I needed extra space because of my pregnancy, but didn't realize I couldn't upgrade my seat online or at check in. I was advised to tell the Boarding attendants I needed extra space and they promptly changed my seat and let me preboard. I'm so grateful and I had a wonderful flight back home. I was also very sick, so it was a relief knowing I could rest comfortably before arriving home to my children."

Cons: "The flight left two hours late. Apparently this happens a lot with this flight these days because it's an Airbus 380 coming from Paris to Dulles and turning around. The incoming flight was two hours late, so the departure was late. Our arrival in Paris was late. We made the flight, but our luggage didn't. Our return flight from Paris to Dulles was half an hour late because of people from connecting flights. We arrived about 30 minutes late, but no big deal (unless you had a connection)"

Cons: "I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

Cons: "We left DC late because of Delta's inefficient boarding process. We landed in Atlanta late. Our flight to Sioux Falls left early, without us. My pregnant wife and I made it to the gate 4 minutes before the scheduled departure and they told us the plane was already gone and there was no way for us to get on the plane. Our bags did make it to Sioux Falls, so my wife didn't have her prenatal vitamins, , we had no clean clothes and we were forced to spend the night in Atlanta. The saddest part of yet another terrible experience with Delta was that they offered us a "discounted" room at a terrible Howard Johnson for $72. I looked online and the same hotel was $65 to book on Kayak. So basically Delta was trying to scam us after they screwed us. Thanks Delta! Instead we paid $200+ to stay at an airport hotel. Every time I fly Delta I regret it, yet occasionally I get forced to take their awful airline to get somewhere I need to go. It never fails to add another bad Delta experience to my long list of failings from this SAD!!! airline."

While boarding, I am told I have to check my bag because apparently the flight was overbooked and there was no room for my carryon. We finally get on the plane and are told by the pilot that we have to stop for fuel - MID FLIGHT!!! I have never had a pilot stop to fuel up in the middle of a flight. And he told us it would take 10 minutes. It took an hour and a half!!!!!!!It completely derailed my connection flight. I missed it and was rescheduled, but wasn't told anything. I get to my new connection flight - that wasn't leaving for another 2 hours mind you - and ask the lady about my bag, because I was nervous it wouldn't get there with the flight change. Her response - "Well, they knew where you were going, right?""

Cons: "Many of us (15+) on this small plane lacked seat assignments. That meant we all had to wait in a queue at the gate for them. They started boarding the plane before they issued any seats assignments to us (we all had confirmed reservations, and we weren't in a group or anything). Then they decided that the premium fliers ought to get the empty 1st class seats, so they had to get in front of us in the queue to change their seats. Anyway, the boarding was essentially finished before they issued any seat assignments. In the end, they gave me two boarding passes for my son and none for me, but the lady was nice enough to just send me through (I was in the system in a seat, apparently, but the printed card had gone missing somehow). Once on the plane, the cabin and ground crew were quite pushy in hurrying everyone to get strollers packed (yes, there was a guy with a baby wating for seat assignments). It didn't affect me at that point, but it was really rude. It just takes time to get children on board, and it was the airline's fault they weren't boarded first. BTW, the flight was operated by American."

Cons: "Check-in Kiosk wasn't functioning correctly and didn't read my CC correctly when paying for my luggage. I went to the counter and was told my CC wasn't charged, and the lady told me she could not help me. She informed me to go upstairs to the "Resolutions" desk. I went to the "Resolutions" desk and waited about 30 minutes in a long line. I got to the counter and after 15 minutes, the clerk swiped my CC again for my 1 bag I needed to check. I asked for a receipt and I was told the printer doesn't work. The clerk proceeded to get a manager and 10 minutes later, I received a receipt. The majority of the staff seemed to be incompetent. After checking my online banking transactions a few days later, I noticed my CC was charged twice. My gate had already been changed twice and flight was delayed. I went through TSA and then found out the gate was changed AGAIN for the third time in less than 2 hours. This time it was at a DIFFERENT terminal. I was thinking I was going to have to go through TSA again, but luckily I decided to ask and found out there was a shuttle which I struggled to find. The flight then was further delayed another 45 minutes. We finally boarded the plane and sat in the plane for another 1 hour before it took off due to delays. Not to mention it was an old plane which was the most uncomfortable I've ever been on. What a nightmare."

Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

I appreciate all that Allegiant does for the military, and therefore, will continue to fly on your airline. I will NOT, however, take any more evening flights as most of the ones I've flown on have either been delayed or altogether cancelled. Again, I truly appreciate your recognition of retired and active duty military. 8/10 is a B and can be improved upon with more clarevoyance and keeping on-time flights."

I had to stay in a hotel and pay $70 because United doesn't pay for a hotel if the cancellation is due to weather. I am outraged by this sudden change in plans. I will never fly United again and I will spread the word to everyone I know."

Cons: "My first flight with United leaving from DC was delayed multiple times and therefore I missed my connecting flight from Newark. I stayed at a hotel to catch the next flight with British Airways leaving from DC to London but had already checked my bags in and could not find out where they were, so I slept with only my handbag! I was never reimbursed for my stay at the Marriott even though I had no control over the flight that was delayed for unknown reasons. After all seemed okay and I reached Mumbai I expected my checked in bag to be at the baggage claim area. I waited for two hours and still had no idea where my bags were. I was very frustrated at this point. I was then advised to create a customer care case with British airways to track my lost baggage, even though United should have handled the transfer of luggage earlier. I called back for three days straight, again I was still without clothes and toiletries his whole time, and the service was dismal. After I got in touch with British and United and got everything sorted out I had my bags delivered to my address in India. The terror continued. I opened my bags and found some minor electronics and other valuables missing! How does that even happen if the bags were previously screened and processed in the States? Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with this entire experience and do not recommend booking with United Airways at any cost!"

Observations about food in first-class: The salad was OK, but really hard to eat when you have to cut it up with a knife & fork. The sorbet was frozen so hard you couldn't get a spoon in it. My eating experience in United first class is usually much better."

He told me to wait until my name was called for a seat assignment. After everyone was on the plane, I was still waiting for my name to be called. Finally, after multiple requests for assistance, I was given a seat and I was the last person to board the plane. Not pleasant at all. The flight was also delayed significantly. There was also an issue with my movie purchase. The movie I wanted to watch did not have audio for most of the movie."

Cons: "United delayed the flight several times - but not until well after I arrived at the airport, even though the flight had left the same airport two hours late for its run to Roanoke, VA. The flight was delayed returning - surprise, surprise - by two hours. This put us into the time frame for the thunderstorms that had been predicted so the flight was cancelled. United then booked me in a flight that would leave DC the next morning for Newark, NJ, where I would catch a connecting flight to SC and arrive in the afternoon. Given that my trip was only two days, this would cause me to lose an entire day. My only other option was to fly the next morning to Chicago and get a connecting flight to SC that would arrive in the evening, which was even worse. United did refund my ticket but they were unwilling to pay for my prepaid hotel room, which totaled $500. Luckily, the hotel courtesy cancelled and refunded my money. United also only had two agents working to re-route everyone affected by the cancellation, so I had to wait in line for well over an hour for this terrible service, all after having already been at the airport for over 4 hours."

I have never been so uncomfortable on a flight, and I fly a dozen times a year for the last 25 years."

Both United and Kayak let me down on getting back to Hartford. We arrived at the end of boarding with no room left for our bags in the overheads so we had to check them and pick them up at the carousel. A totally BAD flight experience."

When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed."

The narrowness of the seat and closeness of the rows makes it hard to be comfortable. After being treated to two meals on the international flight, one small two-inch bag of snack mix is almost pointless."

The flight attendant said that she was going to check if there is anything left in first class but it took for ever and I become impatient as the light were turned off and people were getting ready to sleep. So I switch on the light and another flight attendant came by. I explained the situation but she came back with the same Indian vegetarian dish we turned away. After more frustration and explanation the Stewart came with the. Hi Ken version. I gave my husband my share and he was able to finally take his medication and eat the chicken with the bread. I only ate the ice cream and had a glass of wine. Later on the first flight attendant who served us the meal came with a couple of oranges and a bag of chips. Saying she got this from first class. I kept the oranges and gave her back the chips. Floghing with United is very disappointing to put it mildly."

Pros: "There was a good entertainment system with a lot of new options."
Cons: "My itinerary said I fly on Brussels Airlines on a specific flight number. I went to the international terminal to discover it is not there. I then asked multiple aiport staff members if they heard of Brussels Airlines and they said they did not. One person said it may be terminal 1, so I went there based on very little information and with hopes it would be there. I got to terminal 1 to discover there is no Brussels Airlines. I walked to Lufthansa because my return flight is through them, but it was not there either. At this point I have 45 min to make it through security and board, and no one can tell me where Brussels Airlines is. The good news is the flight was delayed, and I got an email from United Airlines with the flight status. This is the first time I was contacted by United and there was a completly different flight number than the itinerary. United should be more clear on the airline and terminal information for international flights!"

Pros: "From what I encountered at the crack of dawn this morning... The staff handled somnolent, irratable passengers in a full capacity 757, with nothing but unwaivering efforts and kindness. (shrieking baby temper-tantrums, service dogs, and people allergic to service dogs included) Even while dealing with the most self-entitled, disappointingly inconsiderate individuals, the flight attendants kept their composure and remained understanding, professional and accomadating. As for that rude, pompous pig of a woman up in front.. try and remember we're all human here and you should attempt to treat others like so. I can't imagine the staff being particularly fond of the idea of spending an hour delay with your continuous, huffy bitching in their ear. (as if they have any control over the situation"
Cons: "Me and my boyfriend's seats were separated on both flights.. apparently it was in the fine print.. I don't know :/ kind of sleasey, kind of lame. Be transparent. Luckily, met a great guy who had no issues switching! :)"

Pros: "Flight on time"
Cons: "Nothing to drink offered, not even water"

Cons: "We reserved wheelchair assistance prior to the flight. We had to wait an extended amount of time to actually get the wheelchair assistance with 5 kids 7 and under. Due to the wait we almost missed our flight, we were literally the last to board the plane. We were hoping to grab some breakfast for the kids as we had a long flight and did not have time to do so because of this delay. This is why we called ahead to reserve the wheelchair. The people checking in did not seem to care about the delay and only told us to be patient. Sad, unfortunate experience with accessibility issues."

Pros: "Some of the people I dealt with were nice. All of the flight attendants and pilots were nice."
Cons: "United only had one person working to check people in, and due to a lady with 8+ bags that the only agent had to take 20+ minutes with (while the line stacked up behind us), we ended up missing the first leg of our flight. Told us our bags would be checked all the way through, and they weren't. Checked bag got lost on the way back (again, due to misinformation from United on whether our bag would be checked all the way through), and when we got them back they had obviously been rooted through, with no note left by TSA. I fly often, and this was one of the worst flying experiences of my life."

Pros: "I didn't like much. The employees were great and that's about it!"
Cons: "I've only flown with United for four flights. And of those four flights they have been delayed for three of them. To be specific about this flight, straight off the bat the flight was late due to a late arriving plane.. Understandable. Then to top it off they had no pilot. So then the 1.5 hour delay has now turned into a four hour wait. But I'm still waiting for the flight so the wait could be even longer yet. The airline should consider refunding everyone's money on this flight. An hour delay is one thing, but four hours is uncalled for. Never flying with United again."

Pros: "Airline personnel were friendly and smiling"

Pros: "Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again."
Cons: "United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible."

Cons: "While happy to have pilots concerned about my safety, it was frustrating to suffer thru 2 different mechanical delays. The first one was a missing rivet - which turned out to be so bad they had to put Us in a different plane. Then, that plane developed some mechanical/software issues as we were taxing. My 3-hour flight turned into a +5.5 HR endeavor. When you are on 2 broken planes in a row with the same airline you start to to wonder about how well they are maintaining their equipment. I feel like I deserve more than a "sorry" for the use of my extra time, but no credit or flight certificate was forthcoming."
