This hotel is due for a refurbish, particularly in the common areas. Carpets worn in spots and not fresh nd clean appearing. The room itself was fine, carpet showing some wear in spots, bath was nice. Location is great, will be better once 16th St mall redo is furnished. A foul up on room rates, I had 2 rooms, but that is not hotels fault. This is a good option for a trip to Denver.

Friendly & helpful staff. Attentive to any requests or concerns. Hotel provided many services making almost unnecessary to leave hotel property. My only disappointment was that the Starbucks locates in lobby level only open from 6a- 10a M-F. Also open on weekends during same hours! highly recommend for travelers.

Pros (+) Close to university of Denver and an IHOP since this location is on lock down for food options.
Cons (-) Asked for a room up high and with a view. Got the first floor with view to AC system… of which I couldn’t get to bring the room below 70 despite my settings on the thermostat. I had 4 decaf coffee packets and zero caffeinated packs. Had to pay for a coffee at the coffee stand on main level… new marketing scheme? Just kidding but frustrating.

Pros (+) I liked the convenience of the airport shuttle and the room was clean and comfortable
Cons (-) The front desk staff was okay, upon checking out I asked about the shuttle which they told me runs every 30min at arrival I was asked for a shuttle reservation card no one spoke to me about at check in or check out but thankfully the driver was nice enough to take me without it!

Then upon my departure realized I was charged for my room through the receptionist as well as a security deposit. Wasn't planning on this additional charge so really screwed over my weekend plans since I did not receive a instant refund when I called and let them know about this issue.
