Good clean property with nice amenities and workout facility. Climate control only works in 2 degree increments. Most newer models do a half a degree or one degree. Two degree is a pretty large for a newer model.
breakfast door didn't open, went to front desk twice
Second time I have stayed here. I feel safe and will continue to stay when I am in the area. The breakfast was not very good. The biscuits just turned to dough when you put them in your mouth.
Facility very old and poorly maintained. Bathroom light was flickering all the time. Exhaust fan was not running, pool was out of maintenance.
The people who cleans the room was very nice The bradfest is over on the weekend at 900 am & not at 10.00 am
There was a roof over my head and a seemingly clean bed in which to sleep. It smelled like mold and felt damp and musty.

Location is good. Fridge and microwave were great pluses. Smell was old and mildew. Must be a real old hotel. They really need deodorizer carpet cleaning and refreshing for the entire air circulating in there. The bathrooms are truly awful and small. Towels were old as moses.
I was very pleased. I had never been to Creedmoor before. So picking a hotel on line was difficult. But I was happy. Will be going back and will be staying at this hotel.
Employees very hospitable - very clean No
Eggs for breakfast! The lift was OK, but would prefer elevator.
The customer service at the Inn is outstanding. What they lack in up-to-date rooms, they make up for with enthusiastic, friendly and helpful staff. Everyone, from the housekeeper to the front desk were super friendly and made me feel very comfortable. It wasn't a beautiful place, but it was a good stay for my purposes; to be comfortable, sleep and shower! Gary out shined the front desk with his professional and upbeat personality. The Inn is in some disrepair. The sink in my room was cracked, the bedspread had a large burn hole and it appears the floors were only clean in the traffic spots (under the bed, for example, did not appear to have been vacuumed in a long time). The sink was spotless however, and the bedspread seemed washed too. The ice machine was broken but they didnt hesitate to put sanitary gloves (after washing their hands), and getting me ice without making me wait.
Proximity to airport and Raleigh / Durham & Cary as well as places to eat and access to interstate Suite is not typical. Should be described as room with sofa bed because there was no separate lounge area.
Location, hot breakfast, value for money, completely non-smoking.
Most of the staff were extremely nice and obliging. I also liked the swimming pool facility where I could do my yoga! The staff at the counter at the time of check out was very offensive. When I said I wanted to pay by cash but my credit card was already debited though I had requested to keep the voucher only as a surety. She raised her voice and said she is being blamed for something her colleague had done. She also said I shouldn't do this when she is tryin to help me at that early time ( around 5 am).( I thought that was her job!).
The room set up was nice and open. The bed was so comfortable. I didn't want to get up. The only thing that I noticed, even though the bedding was cleaned; the fitted sheet was stained.
The staff was super attentive and friendly! The room was nice & clean. The hot breakfast was a plus especially since they are in a "business" district for the weekend! We enjoyed our stay!
Non-smoking, good breakfast, spatious room, clean.
There was a lot of noise in the hall all night long. Young people partying in the halls. I had to call the front desk and after some time, they finally quieted down about 3 AM.
I love la Quinta and travel many times to Raleigh nc. But I have to say that compared to the one in Crabtree this one was sub standard. Breakfast was not good. Cold and old. The room was dirty and smelled funny. Would not want someone to spend $80-90 for this place.
My dogs loved it here just as much as we did. Very pet friendly, very courteous when my dogs received their one and only noise complaint (first night, just getting used to noises). Asked for room with easy access and got room with easy access. Very nice staff, bed was comfy, room very clean. Really economic for us and just close enough to everything we needed to get to. Will stay again if ever in the CH area. AC didn't work like it should. Like cold room while we sleep, woke up sweaty.
Liked the room, beds were comfortable, pool was nice, could have had longer hours. Clean, though a bit worn down looking. Would stay again.
Quick check in and check out. Easy access from major roadways. Housekeepers never left coffee in the room for use in the coffee makers. Refrigerators have no small freezer. I travel with a cooler and those blue ice packs and couldn't re freeze them before I left. Also there was no way to lock the bathroom doors. Thank god I was traveling alone.
Staff was friendly Very out of date rooms and facilities Minimalistic toiletries
The bed was comfortable and the (room) overall was clean. The noise and the construction traffic, trash left behind throughout the property. Breakfast provided left much to be desired. Check-out policy of placing a hold charge for incidentals is un-needed and not properly explained to guest upon check in or out. Hotel under renovation and NOT noted when booking hotel online. Would definitely NOT stay at this property again OR recommend.
Good hotel Poor drivability. Depending on the day you may not be able to get out of the driveway due to the busy road.
Clean and spacious rooms, meeting areas beautifully appointed. Nothing!
Location, price Service, cleanliness
The rooms were clean, but dated and the lobby were dated The staff was often unattentive and preoccupied with personal calls and tasks. The overall lobby atmosphere was not good: dated and furniture was not all that nice. And the breakfast was very average quality. I guess you gr what you pay for but I'd have expected a bit better for what we paid. Sorry to give this report.
The facilities and the rooms were very clean. The bedding appeared newer as did the carpeting. The bathroom was very clean. The lobby and the breakfast area was well taken care of. The staff was attentive. The pool area was very clean and well taken care of too. I have stayed here many times for both business and pleasure and have never been disappointed, great job! The shower head could have better pressure, it may have been the room we were in, but that is the only thing that I would like to see changed!
The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The room was nice overall and comfortable. I requested a handicap accessible room and was given a room that was 2/3 of the way down the hallway from the elevator. Two separate times my key card didn't work and I had to make a long walk. First, I parked in a handicap parking space right in front of an outside door, so I had to walk all the way around to the front to come in. Next, the second evening my card didn't work in my door and I had to walk back down.
easy check in and check out. clean comfortable room. friendly staff breakfast service was all styrofoam plates and cups and single-use plastic utensils-- very wasteful and in conflict with the environmental info in the room!
The hotel facilities and environment
My husband and I had stayed here before a couple years ago, and now that all of our friends have graduated we need a place to stay in Durham. We like the location (running trail and golf). this trip the bar staff were kind of rude and stuffy. It used to be a nice place to get drinks, but the waiter was rude. Also, we reserved a King room months in advance, and they gave us 2 double beds. Their response when I said something "well, the rooms are the same price." My husband and I sleep in the same bed at home, and would like to on vacation. Also, housekeeping knocked on our door at 8:30am.
We were there to attend a family funeral, so not exactly looking for a fun weekend. It was convenient to some family members. And I appreciated the small size. Rooms nice, beds comfy. Agree with Valerie...the Bull Durham staff was less than attentive. At that point, it was the first time we'd had to sit down to a decent meal. But we had to flag down wait staff. Had us wondering if it was because we were the only people of color at the Inn who weren't employed by it.
Everything! The students I took with me had choices of what they wanted to do and had an awesome breakfast to begin their day!!!!!!! I can not say that there was anything that I didn't like.....
All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I thought the hotel was very nice and clean.
quiet breakfast was bad
I like the atmosphere of the hotel and the way in which the staff made me feel welcomed into the hotel There was nothing that I did no like. To me everything was perfect and I would highly recommend this hotel.
Location was perfectly discrete. Patio door was hard to open.

The hotel was very warm and inviting and the staff was one of the friendliest staffs I've encountered in a long time. No breakfast
Room was clean and comfortable.
The hotel was beautiful to me. The rooms were clean.
location Housekeeping banged on my door and woke me up before 9am despite 12 noon checkout; TV reception awful; TV remote didn't work more than 6 inches from TV. No microwave. Definitely NOT a 3-1/2 star property...2 star at best.
This hotel has spacious, clean, updated rooms and bathrooms. The staff members are what really makes this hotel great - very nice and accommodating. Easy access to the freeway and to various places to eat as well. No, I thought the hotel was a great value.
Great front desk and airport shuttle staff
Staff was very friendly during check-in. Environment was warm and inviting. Room was clean and spacious. Hotel should provide free bottled water in rooms. $5 per bottle is ridiculous.

Curteous staff, nice lounge, rooms with lake view, proximity to shopping and dining Some "lake view" rooms were obstructed by tree growth - trimming those trees would help to open up the lake view from those rooms.
Large suite for a very low price. Rooms nicely updated and furnished. Bed was extremely comfortable. Nothing
Front desk staff and drivers - most helpful and extremely courteous
so relaxing with the lake view and the room is very spacious and clean
The room, and staff The AC didn't work as well as we wanted but not bad...
This hotel is very conveniently located to Duke. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly, and they even give out free Otis Spunkmeyer cookies at the front desk!
The room was very convenient to the Duke campus. We decided to stay the night after a basketball game but weren't very familiar with the Durham area. This hotel was definitely a good place for people who don't know what else is around. Having previously worked in hospitality for 6 years, I find myself more critical of hotels and their staff more than others. This staff was not very pleasant and I don't think any of the people I encountered smiled once. You need to ensure that guests who are out of their normal comfort of home feel comfortable in the place they'll be sleeping. The beds were also not great. The air conditioning/heat was very loud.
What I have to say that is SUPER positive about this hotel is that: 1. It SMELLS SO GOOD. Really clean and neat and tidy. 2. Very nice business center! 3. Great having a little grill right in the lobby 4. The room I had was very spacious and had a TON of outlets. Seriously, there's like 8 outlets that I can see from where I'm sitting. 5. The decor was VERY nice. Bathrooms were more modern with adjustable shower heads, they had towels that were color coordinated like you would have at your house. Very nice bathroom soaps, lotions, etc. Makeup mirror, too! Maybe this was a one off experience, maybe staff was tired or something but the service I received at the desk wasn't very helpful. The hotel is GREAT for the price and if you catch the front desk on a good day, I'd recommend this to anyone. Background: This hotel was booked for me by my boss on booking.com for a business trip. After booking, we were given a receipt that showed the amount that was paid and the credit card that was used, we also had a pin and a confirmation #. I got an e-mail asking me to set my preferences for the hotel stay - I was impressed. I chose a king room on a higher floor with extra blankets, a good view and an early check in of 1pm. Early that morning I got a text saying that they weren't able to get me a room by 1pm. A bummer but I let that roll off of my shoulder. When I arrived at the front desk, the employee greeted me and got to work on checking me in but asked for a credit card. It turns out that they didn't have any "pre payment on file". So I offered to give them the confirmation number that I had. They just kept repeating that they have no record of the pre-payment. I offered to show them the PIN and the booking e-mail that I had on my phone. Again, "I'm not showing any pre-payment". Note, the employee did not look at my phone that I offered to show what I was talking about. They did offer that the only way that they could accept a credit card payment from my boss was by faxing a credit card authorization form. So I called my boss and she reminds me of the receipt that she e-mailed me and offers to help in anyway possible, maintaining that she already paid her card was already charged and that we have the receipt. (Which I did). I return to the front desk to try to show the employee the receipt from my phone and they looked at it briefly and said "that print is way too small, there's no way I can see that". So I call my boss back again and neither of us can figure out the problem, so my boss calls the customer service number and ends up fixing the problem. My issues are these: 1. The employee never even TRIED to look up my information via the confirmation number I had OR the receipt. I guess in all fairness they did try to look at the receipt but not very hard. They could've enlarged the screen, printed it out, something. 2. They never explained what the different problems COULD be. They just kept saying that we never paid. Without knowing WHERE the problem could be stemming from it was hard to figure out what to do next. I was just there saying we paid and they were saying "no you didn't" while not looking at my documentation. 3. After checking in the only request that I got fulfilled was the king room. I ended up on the 2nd floor and after all the frustration didn't even try to change it or request the extra blankets. 4. The staff wasn't really "friendly". They weren't mean but they didn't smile, only said things in a matter of fact manner.
Friendly staff The hotel was dated and kind of grossed me out
Reasonable price and great location adjacent to Duke medical center and campus. Aug 2016 the hotel is under renovation. No restaurant or breakfast. No fitness facility.
Between the room, amenities, galleries, restaurant and bar, you really don't need or want to leave. But, the central location makes it incredibly easy to explore downtown Durham. Nothing of note.
Everything was incredible! Magnificent rooms, friendly staff, unbeatable location & decor of the rooms and the hotel itself. Amazing gym, sauna and steam room!
Comfortable, quiet, clean, affordable, helpful staff. They are redoing all the rooms, plus the lobby and the bistro area. Unfortunately, the TV in my room had not yet been replaced, and tended to turn itself off unexpectedly. Since it was the weekend, they did not have any new TVs on hand to replace the one in my room. they did offer to move me to another room, but since it was just one night, I opted to stay where I was.
Location was good and the room was nice and clean. Was disappointed with their internet services. Wifi only works in their lobby but not in the guest rooms. It was hard to get a cellphone connection too since I use AT & T.
friendly staff restaurant & bar in hotel very near Duke campus no mini fridge
Pool. Location Wuiet Room had not been thoroughly cleaned in awhile. Bugs Like to have mini fridge in room. This one didn't have one.
Clean, nice staff and facilities. Still slightly too pricey
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The amenities were great and our room was very clean and comfortable.
There was no WiFi or AT&T cell phone service in the rooms, in addition the lobby WiFi was broken. Business room computers were slow and did not print.
Staff was friendly! Hotel room was clean and inviting!! Would definitely stay here again!! Downstairs restraunt offers okay food. Within walking distance of restraunts like Dunkin Donuts, Another broken Egg. And T.G.I.Fridays. The pool looked a little dingy, swam in it anyway. Had to ask three times for pool towels before they were finally brought.
Nice setting Restaurant was marginal.
Thank you very much! Everyone is great!!
Comfortable bed The cigarette smoke odour. No kettle. No microwave.
The location and price-point were right up my alley. I was traveling with my 10-year-old and my 4-month-old. The front desk staff was very kind and accommodating as I needed to change to a different room (with 2 beds) at the last minute. Beds were fairly comfortable. While washing out baby bottles in the hotel sink I noticed the water was warmer than normal (I work as a barista and have a high tolerance for hot liquid on the hands) I let the water continue to run and steam was literally billowing up out of the sink! This could have easily scalded my kids. The floor had remnants of the previous tenants food/candy and the counters were not wiped well. The lampshade had some strange yellow goo splattered inside of it. My room was located right next to the office and there was quite a bit of traffic throughout the night.
Remodeling was nice but still building has walkways that has others walk right by only windows. Just hardworking staff, clean, just redone room in old fashion motel structure. Beds OK but not as comfy as mine. Comforter not soft.
The room was clean, fairly large, modern looking, and had the amenities I like. I do not have a list of things I did not like.
The hotel looked newly renovated and was very clean The room was so tiny. No in room coffee and the wifi wouldn't work
Rude Housekeeper , no big towels on first night
Location Lack of ammenities and breakfast
They had us booked in a room with 2 beds, but when we ended up there was only one bed, with no extra pillows or blankets, so one of us had to sleep on the floor with minimal comfort. Never going back there again.
Nothing In a bad location, rooms were dirty. The beds weren't clean.
Easy check in/out. Conveniently located. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms
great place. clean room. I enjoyed my stay for n affordable price.
GReat rooms and ammenities!
Business area location Bed was too soft and needs replacing
The staff were very helpful in providing information and problem solving suggestions. The sound system needs a little work and the room sound enclosure.
The mattress is very soft as if it is used every month for Sumo Wrestling convention...you sink right in.
Room is very comfortable with enough electrical outlets! Staff is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Great breakfast buffet with the best omelet chef in the world. Two excellent restaurants within walking distance. Central location if you're traveling between Raleigh and Durham. A bit pricey.
Best waffles for breakfast that could be found in North Carolina !! Room was fine--no complaints.
The room was clean, everything was freshly painted, and it was right next to the office. The room was quiet, you couldn't hear the road noise. There was termite damage on the baseboards of the room, and instead of being replaced, they were just painted over. The paint was chipping in places. The peephole for the door was painted over also. You couldn't see outside the room.
Housekeeping left my room door ajar one day and did not clean the room at all another day.
Dirty tissue left on floor. Too much bad cleaner smell. Overpowered the room. Not an overall safe feel. Non-smoking room but cigarette butts all over the place nearby. TV didn't work. Bad paint job.
Everything . Could not say anything bad. Seen reviews that said the light came thru the edges of the door, which was true. But I found that to be helpful when I had to get up in the night. You could see where the door is without turning on a light. We will be staying there again . The only thing they could do to make it better,is to have HD TV.
