Pros:The room was nice looking from walking in the door. Expect more from Marriott but this room and service was not the what you expect.
Cons:Where do I start?? I should had known this would not be a good stay by the service when I checked in. The gentleman in front of me was being taking care of wonderfully. The lady taken of me was not giving best service. She did not welcome me to the Hotel, ask may I help you, asked for my ID and credit card. Handed me the room key and said park on either side of Hotel. While I was waiting, I was listening to the other lady checking in the gentleman beside me.....WOW... customer service was great....she was very detailed from parking to where elevators are about his room. The room.....appeared to be nice....however closer look.... The bathroom only had one light working, taking a shower in dim light. Web site said Bath Robes....NO bath robes!!!! My daughter noticed the desk chair....was RIPPED badly!!! Three inches across the front seat....OMG....showing the cushion...nasty!! Desk lamp didn't work. Then when we went to bed.....another shocker....the pillows....SMELLED SO NASTY!!! I called the desk....and was asked to be put on hold.....AFTER 5 minutes....I put the phone down and told my daughter let me know when some one answers.....I headed down stairs to the desk and saw the desk person standing there talking to a Security Person. I asked for a Manager, he said he was. I explained I had been put on hold and been waiting. Then about the pillows and asked if we could have more...he said "No", that they was over booked and didn't have any more. I asked him so I need to sleep without pillows? Manager sent the Security person to check the pillows.....needless to say after the Security Person called from the room and reported the smell was nasty on the on the pillows and the desk chair was terrible and as my daughter was telling about finding holes in the sheets...found painted finger nails on the floor!! The Manager was knocking on the door and said lets get you ladies out of this room and to a new room. When we got to the next room....few pillows was still nasty smell....seems maybe its from soured linens, ended up wrapping them in towels! Manager also said he will find some bath robes due to second room had no bath robes!!! As we got settle in....noticed on the floor hair pins....REALLY....are these rooms cleaned after guests???? After all said and done...we did get $ 22 off the room rate....lolololol... Oh.....being put on hold time....desk person AKA Manager...answered as I walked back in door with Security person....Do math of time that was....ride down elevator, explain about pillows, going back up to room (9th floor).
