Took over 3 hours waiting to receive the vehicle during pickup and when we did it was the wrong model class; should have be full sized SUV, but was originally given and small SUV. Dollar definitely needs better staffing at Lihue location. I have no complaints with the SUV itself but the initial delay spoiled my experience with Dollar.Reviewed Jun 1 2023

On a holiday weekend there was ONE person working the counter for Dollar, Thrifty and Hertz. There were over 60 people in line and we stood there for over an hour. That’s absolutely ridiculous. I would have gladly paid more money to a different company that was able to get people in and out in under 10 minutes. Won’t use them again!Reviewed Jun 1 2023

Overall the experience was good . The car was clean and with low mileage . The price was triple compare to Portugal for example . The guarantee deposit was very high -3000€ and the money did not come bach after 48 hours as I was promised .Reviewed May 31 2023

So far terrible. I picked up the vehicle at Rome Termini Station. The office gave me a piece of paper to mark any scratches on the vehicle before leaving. However, they did not update this information (I did have the employee sign the document). Upon returning the vehicle to Venice, the rental car agency was closed (though they were supposed to be open until 8pm). The next morning I receive an email that indicated an additional charge for new damage to the vehicle. This was not correct as the any damage was prior to my picking up the vehicle. I emailed Dollar/Hertz multiple times but so far they have not removed the charges. I connected to Dollar/Hertz when I got back to the United States, but they said since rental is international, they could not do anything. Now I am using my credit card to dispute the charges.Reviewed May 31 2023
