They didn’t accept the price I had booked online and tried charging me over $500 over the price I booked for online

What rental place?!?! False advertising, I received a confirmation number for a rental for $26. Then when I get there I wait for 1 1/2 hour, informed that I will have a $10,000 USD hold on my card unless I purchase insurance for $130, and that is only for one day. As I waited, 2 people walked out saying run and that they are scammers, and a couple crowns as they were being told the totals for their rental, and no customer left happy. Major red flags.
we didn't end up renting from FOX, as they were not honest about their service, and added extra 1300 $ insurance, this was not clear while signing this offer, will never ever deal with them, very poor service.
Everything seemed smooth but go ahead and prepay because they will not hold your reservation more than one hour. (Not stated in Kayak or priceline). They gave my rental away and I had to level up to a more expensive vehicle. Insurance not reflected in price either so add it up (about $15 a day). Also, very dishonest workers, wanted to charge me $50usd as a cleaning fee for a small stain the sizer of a quarter in the back seat, I bought water at the gas station and cleaned it with a shirt in order for them to release my deposit. Just be aware and take pictures of exterior and interior.
The $120 price was a lie. They try to say you need Mexican insurance which the lowest was $375 with $1000 hood on your card. And that your credit card insurance can’t be used. I was there for 3hrs then I left and went back to the airport. I got help from an enterprise representative that was just walking around. Never again will I be using this service.
