Had a great overall experience with Arnold Clark except for the pickup. Pickup location at airport is terrible and confusing. After calling and getting direction we finally found it, but then the driver missed us and left us standing in the rain. Had to call a second time to get picked up. Otherwise it was all good.

The service from your staff was great. The car had surprisingly a lot of trunk room for it's size The car I rented needed new wiper blades. A disappointment since this is an essential piece of safety equipment in Scotland. I was also startled that changing from a manual transmission to an automatic was so costly. considering the windy narrow roads, it seems you would want to have have drivers who are used to right-hand driving use a simpler car to operate. The gentleman who gave us our car in Edinburgh (I'm sorry I forget his name!) was very pleasant and helpful. It was a very busy day, but he was not rushed and gave us all the time we needed. We returned the car early at London Stansted Airport and used the drop box.
