Saff reacted well to our long list of complaints. The wonderful beach (even though it is 25 km away), the setting of the resort (but only if you have a car), the pools. The hotel was quite a rip-off. 350 US Dollar per night for an apartment that was not at all well equiped (we had no pot to cook, 2 knives for 5 people, no glasses), the baby bed we had asked for was not there, not enough towels, no telephone, no internet (despite the fact that it was advertised), no water slides (only for little children), ... Might be that in a few years time they will have what they announce to have, but for the time beeing it is rather bad.
Many construction and finishing work is on progress
Nothing much...just that it was close to Alexandria and we wanted to go on a weekend break so that was about the only plus. The kids had fun but I felt it was a ripoff. overpriced..it was not worth the money at all. First they couldnt find our booking, although I had a confirmation from booking.com. The apartment was not clean when we arrived, clearly the sewage system is terrible because there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom and kitchen sink. if it was less expensive then I could have accepted this but considering the amount of money i paid i expected superior service. I am never staying there again and I dont recommend this to anyone.
Nothing , it is not yet ready to recieve guests . What is written in the website is not reflect the reality at all .
Nothing good to say. We cant believe places like this are still allowed to exist in the world, and less to be advertised as "The luxurious 5- Star Golf Porto Marina overlooks an 18-hole golf course. The hotel offers an international shopping mall, a large water park, private beach access, and a full-service spa." on websites like this. This is not a hotel, it is a cess-pool of sewage and cigarettes held together by one of the shabbiest operations we have met anywhere. It did not have services advertised ( spa, intl mall etc..), basic cleanliness (day if not week old grime covering the floors of uncleaned rooms with cigarette butts and dirty linen left on the floor beside unmade bed), security (door had no handles, lights did not work, no telephone in the room). The bathrooms smelled of sewage and when we complained no one helped us. We went back to complain again at night and after half an hour of complaining the room we had was switched with another, which was in a worse condition than the one we had originally.
