Pros:We were happy with the service and the vehicle in general was good. We did find our vehicle a bit squeaky and the shocks could have been replaced. Having seen the roads though, we understand why the vehicle was in the condition it was. The service was great and he took pity on us when he realized we weren't expecting the extra $800 in insurance and he threw in a GPS, which was a total life saver.
Cons:Please be aware that the cost of the vehicle rental does NOT include the insurance. The rental was estimated at $150 but when we got there, the mandatory insurance coverage took the total cost to $920 CAD. We had read about this, but we thought the credit card insurance covered it. With all the information printed out and in hand, we realized no cards will cover third party liability - which is mandatory there. The options were to put thousands down as a deposit and pay for any / some damages, or get full coverage for MUCH more per day. Please keep this in mind when booking a vehicle. And a 4 wheel drive is an absolute must if you want to drive any of the 'roads' in hard to reach but beautiful places.

Pros:- The car worked - Enterprise is partnered with Alamo so was able to return it the next day
Cons:-The guy at the counter tried telling me I reserved a different car so had to show him the confirmation for proof - was not told that insurance was necessary and expensive so $108 quickly turned into ~$400 - was not told the main highway was closed the day of our arrival so got semi lost in the mountains of a foreign country

Pros:The entire process was excellent. I've forgotten his name, but the Enterprise Manager at the San Jose Airport had me on the road in short order. Gabriel Vasquez, the Enterprise Manager in Belen, CR was instrumental in writing an extended contract for for our car and getting us back on the road in very short order. I'M A VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER TO DATE!
Cons:Nothing.
Cons:The mandatory minimum insurance fees added 100% to the total cost. I was not the only customer shocked by this. Because the car I reserved was not available, I received an upgrade, still barely able to go up hills.
