Pros: Quiet, Super nice owner, the most excellent breakfasts.
It is a very clean place, walking distance to shops, restaurants and surrounded by beautiful mountain views.
Pros: Vicki is a very gracious hostess. Her home is your home away from home. Breakfast was wonderful - everyday.
Cons: It was hard to sleep in with the wonderful smells coming from the kitchen.
Great place, company, food, decor. She had plenty of knowledge about places to eat and visit.
Pros: Vicki was very pleasant and friendly. She made us feel very welcome. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic.
Cons: It was our fault really. It was late when we went to bed and not until then did we discover that a couple more pillows would have been better. I'm sure she had more, but I felt like it was too late to ask.
Good location to go skiing in the immediate areas . Also nearby restaurants are within walking distance , and parking is in front of the place or on the site , which is great .
Pros: Vicki does a great job making you feel at home , and her breakfast is always great and on time . We prefer stronger coffee , but that is our European taste .
Cons: See above .
It is very clean, and has a nice, homey atmosphere. The manager greeted us at the door by name, took luggage to our upstairs room, asked when we would like breakfast in the morning, and was just very hospitable. We felt like we were welcome guests in someone's home!
Pros: The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful! Very quick to inform us of what was was available and when.
Cons: Yes, just that the walls are paper-thin between rooms, so we could hear every little thing in the next room, which wasn't good for us, and probably not for them, either. Perhaps some insulation or sound-proofing can be added.
Well the best thing was its not a hotel its so much better than that I have stayed in a five star hotel and this beats that hands down.
Pros: It was so comfortable, quiet, and Vicki Was such a delight she was there for all our needs we had a great night. We felt like we were at our home away from home.
Cons: We did not know from the website that the TV was to be shared.
Miners Pick Bed and Breakfast is a great choice for a stay in Idaho Springs. Guests looking to stay active can check out the nearby hiking/biking trails, kayaking, and mountain biking, and free perks include continental breakfast, WiFi, and self parking. Rooms feature conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
Cons: Breakfast could be better, but what do you expect at a hotel.
Pros: Very convenient location. Excellent staff. Very comfortable rooms.
Pros: Great "urban" location, although not, as described online, "nestled" near downtown Denver. Spacious rooms. Easy walking access to shops and restaurants. Not a bad drive to Denver or Golden (except during rush hour).
Some rooms have views of the foothills (and mountains on a clear day).
Cons: Parking is an issue. The Target next door claims most of the spaces.
Despite some of what is said in some of their marketing materials, not all rooms have "full size" appliances. What we had was adequate but not even "apartment" size.
Breakfast, while delicious, is crowded, tables are not quickly bussed and table seating is very limited. Trying to get children to eat neatly while sitting on couches is not fun. (Especially when they want French Toast with syrup.)
One drawback to the location is street noise, especially the rooftop and garden bars in the immediate area. Go with a high floor and, if you need to get to bed early, the "Target" side of the building.
Finally, we had a 2 AM fire alarm. Clearly not management's fault, but the lack of communication during and after was disappointing. During the alarm some people stood outside while others gathered in the lobby. No one from the hotel said a word to us. I would have expected an apology or explanation from the manager afterwards, but again, not a word.
Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood is nestled on the southwest side of downtown Denver near the vibrant Belmar area with ample shopping, dining and entertainment. Lakewood has one of the best views of the iconic Rocky Mountain foothills and the area is flush with art, culture, recreation and the soon to open Hyatt House Denver/Lakewood. A great combination that sets the stage for you to explore our hotel and the surrounding area.
Pros: It's in kind of a nice location. The room was clean and we had access to the deck from a back door unlike several other rooms. The staff was very nice and welcoming.
Cons: Wifi was terrible. There is no air conditioning in the room so we had to rely on a ceiling fan to keep cool. Didn't really work for us. Nice place but overpriced.
Pros: We had a wonderful stay at Eldora Lodge. The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was excellent and the hot tubs were so relaxing. The staff even offered to wash our laundry if we needed and only asked for a tip at the end of our stay. The rooms were always kept clean and the beds were very comfortable.
Cons: The temperature of the water in the shower was hard to regulate. For my companion, who has sensitive skin, this was a big issue. Otherwise no complaints.
Eldora Lodge at Wondervu is a great choice for a stay in Golden. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and buffet breakfast daily between 7 AM and 10 AM. A terrace and 2 spa tubs are offered, and rooms have conveniences like refrigerators and microwaves.
The Silver Lake Lodge is a great choice for a stay in Idaho Springs. Free perks include WiFi, self parking, and full breakfast daily between 7:30 AM and 10 AM. Rooms offer up nice touches like fireplaces and premium bedding.
Pros: I liked the continental breakfast which had a good variety
Cons: The pillows were horrible and the towels were rough.
Pros: Very clean and the basic rooms are little suites, great outside court yard, very friendly staff and in a great part of town very close to restaurants and other needs
Cons: The A/C didn't blow as cold as I would have liked, but that's it
Pros: Room was very nice, clean, spacious, & comfortable.
Cons: Staff was not helpful. Breakfast was very unorganized, Waited long time for breakfast items to be stocked & staff doing the stocking acted as though she didn't know what she was doing or just didn't care. Only complaint about our is that the bathroom slider door was very difficult to open & close.

Cons: The only downfall of this hotel was the hot tub jets not working.
Pros: The staff was very helpful, and actually very friendly,I showed up very late with one room booked and multiple groups of friends coming in from out of town,Four rooms later at a two room price,Everyone was thrilled.
Cons: Only issue was when we tried to extend our stay for additional nights we were shocked at the actual price for the room to continue our stay.we were forced to move hotels the next day.
Pros: Convenient and great value for Red Rocks. Great shower, great bed, great towels, and ice cream available for purchase after a Red Rocks show. Second hand marijuana smoke does affect you and 2.5 oz of Haagen Daz will cure it.
Cons: Breakfast and coffee ended early.
Pros: Pool. Room size. Outdoor patio. Basketball court.
Cons: Open vanity area right next to main bed. Hard to not wake spouse when I left room early.
Pros: Cleanliness, breakfast and friendly staff
Cons: Not really
Pros: This hotel was BEAUTIFUL!!! It was a suite and had a wonderful kitchenette area fully stocked and a full refrigerator and dishwasher! The room was cozy and elegant. Staff was VERY friendly, helpful and accommodating. Breakfast-included, WONDERFUL!
Cons: There was NOTHING I did not like about this hotel!!!
Pros: The location and the pleasant staff.
Pros: Front desk person was nice.
Cons: At first look thought it looked great. It was a suite which is fine, but the first coffee mug i took out of the cabinet was dirty. 99% sure the hair conditioner was refilled with body lotion.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, room was large with kitchenette. Very clean and very quiet. Bed was comfortable! Slept great!
Cons: The location, not within walking distance to any restaurants or stores. It would have been nice NOT to have to get back into the car again after driving 7 hours. But it is right off of the highway, easy on/off access.
Pros: Clean, modern, great hot breakfast, friendly staff
Pros: Staff was great, rooms were very spacious and very clean. Definitely go back to that hotel.
Pros: Location to Golden and the room itself were great for the whole family.
Cons: The pool area could have been cleaner and the water a tad bit warmer.

Pros: Great location in the heart of Golden. Lots of dining areas with distinct vibes.
Pros: The room was great. Easy access to downtown Golden. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The staff person who checked me in seemed uninterested in helping me with a room. It seemed I was wasting his time when I inquired about room availability.
Pros: King size bed with lots of pillows, balcony with table and chairs, quiet, loved the all the amenities. Complementary coffee and water was great. Loved the shampoo and lotion. Great place to stay. Nice hotel with old time feel, but modern rooms.
Cons: Side door entrance would not lock after entering, allowing anyone to enter without a card key.
Pros: The decor
Cons: The inability to get to Room 226 from the lobby without having to carry my suitcases up stairs.

This was a trip back in time where I felt like I was living at home. The house is beautiful and the staff made sure that everything was right. The parking was alright n the area. This location is a few blocks from the Coors brewery. The tours there are awesome. I would recommend this Bed and Breakfast to everyone. The price was also reasonable.
Pros: Room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and made me feel at home. The breakfast was better than I experienced at home.
Pros: The hosts were very friendly, and they made a great breakfast too.

Pros: Modern, comfortable, amenities, great location. Excellent catering. Wedding event
Pros: the best is location. the hotel located in golden, where is very peaceful and safty. my friend told me this is the best hotel in golden.
pool would have been good, for the selected area a little too far in the west of Denver, nevertheless a good location
Pros: clean rooms, good hotel
Cons: a little too far in the west of Denver
This is a truly lovely hotel. I think it should be rated higher than 3 stars. I was apprehensive when my bid was accepted on priceline for this hotel, because it was a hotel brand I'd never heard of (i.e. not a Hyatt, Marriott, etc.) But during the course of our travels, we stayed in 7 different hotels - some 2 1/2 stars and some 4 stars - and this one was our favorite. Just lovely - great location, great city, close to great restaurants, quiet, and as mentioned above, the beds were SO comfortable!
Pros: The beds are the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in at a hotel. The atmosphere of this hotel is lovely. Very home-like.
Cons: I wish the hotel had a pool - I don't think it did.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, and staff were good.
Cons: Street and hotel guest noise made it difficult to rest.

Quiet location and close to many restaurants.
Pros: Clean and spacious
Cons: Not really - was all good
Pros: To my surprise I had a small gift inside my room upon my arrival thanking me for my frequent visits to the hotel. I stay here pretty much once a month so it was nice to see they pay attention to those little things and appreciate it.
Pros: The breakfast
Cons: That they took 20 dollars off my credit card for incentdentulls and the guy told that they would put it back on card in one to two days and they never did this hotel has done this to me every time I have stayed there
Pros: the rooms were newly redone and looked awesome. the small kitchen has everything you could think to bring and the dishwasher was a nice amenity to have. the staff was also friendly and accommodating.
Pros: The newly renovated rooms were very large and the addition of a kitchenette made the stay much more enjoyable. The staff was very professional and courteous with our service.
Cons: The parking was only a minor inconveinence due to the construction equipment around.
Pros: Lay out of room was good. Breakfast was also good.
Cons: Hotel is under construction for re-modeling. No pool in the bldg. Had to go across the parking lot to other hotel for pool. Somewhat noisy with construction during the day.

Pros: The room was nice and spacious with a small fridge and microwave which were handy. The front desk staff were really nice and helpful. Especially the lady who had moved there from Florida (don't know her name). She was really nice. I also liked that they had a few frozen dinners for sale for when you just wanted a quick something to eat without going out. The location was great also, just a short drive to nice restaurants and the movie theater. Really a nice place with nice people.
Cons: I didn't like being right down the hall from the cafe because I could smell food cooking in the morning and hear people laughing and talking over their breakfast which woke me up.
Pros: The hotel was clean and quiet and had an indoor pool.
Cons: Price was high for two small double beds and breakfast was not included. The pool water was severely burning to eyes - rest of the evening spent periodically flushing eyes out with fresh water after swimming in the afternoon.

Pros: The property is big, lots of games, buffet and a couple restaurants. Cool rooftop pool/hot tub. Rooms are nice, well-decorated, comfortable.
Cons: Cleanliness isn't where it needs to be. My room had some stains on the floor, a small stain on the sheets, and tangle of hair on the bathroom floor. But the worst part was the machines themselves, the electronic roulette machine was disgusting, covered in all sorts of debris, looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Hard to play on a machine you don't even want to touch. Bartender cleaned a video poker machine for me to be courteous, and he mentioned that although cleaning staff is supposed to clean them, they never do. Also my in-room coffee maker was missing the piece where the filter fits, so I couldn't make coffee in the room.
Pros: Rooms were clean. Well maintained.
Cons: Food at fire side grill could have been better
Pros: Like just about everything we tried. Had a great time in casino's.
Cons: When I made our dinner reservation at the Timberline restaurant, I requested a quite corner out of the way so that we could enjoy a nice quite evening/dinner together for our 45th. We where seated behind the sever station that was so noisy at time we just didn't talk. Major disappointment. Had made the reservations week in advance for this very reason. Were glad to finish dinner and go back to our room. Oh, well maybe better next time.
Pros: The pool, hot tub, and fire pits on the top of the building were beautiful. It was clean and well cared for.
Cons: It was a casino and I'm not a gambler. If I went again, I might look for a restaurant outside of the casino.
Pros: Jaccuzi. Ambienance was nice and inviting.
Cons: There were no coffee regular.
Hotel gave very little perks to almost nothing for staying. Player club almost to nothing to first time comer. No discount for meals for playing. We have gotten a lot more at other casinos.
TV was a problem. Bed not that comfortable
Pros: About as nice a hotel room as we've ever seen!
Pros: Wondrously surprised...!
Pros: The room was very clean. The staff was amazing. We will be back.
Cons: Not a thing.
Pros: The view and rooftop pool were amazing as was the whole experience. Free valet!
Cons: Parking garage not attached to the hotel, not really a big deal. Expensive table games.
Pros: Great room, excellent amenities
Cons: Buffet was mediocre at best
Pros: No smoking. Clean
Cons: Gambling was terrible. No drinks offered, terrible service at the Fireside restaurant. The buffet was expensive for the value. Very few tables and minimums were too high
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: The gambling was horrible. The black jack tables were packed and no one could catch a break! Never gambling at the Ameristar again!
Situated in the historical district, this spa resort is steps from Ameristar Casino Black Hawk, Golden Mardi Gras Casino, and Golden Gates Casino. The Canyon Casino and The Gilpin Casino are also within 10 minutes.
Pros: The customer service as a result of an extraordinary staff was second to none. They went out of their way to make sure we had a great experience. Wonderful breakfast each morning and rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Denver area.
Cons: Nothing, it was awesome!
Pros: computer room, close to my daughter, room was kept clean and supplied with soaps - etc.
Cons: construction noise next door (should make guest aware before arrival), coffee/ tea bar near check-in counter was often out of coffee-cups-etc., some carpets needed cleaning (worst was in front of elevator on 4th floor)
Pros: I have stayed at several hotels around Denver some even pricier than this hotel. I paid double he price and had a hot room elsewhere. My room was cool and comfortable :)
Cons: They foryer is a little crowded
Pros: The man at front desk was very nice even during Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. I was unhappy with a room they assigned problem me with ad he immediately changed it. No problem.
Pros: every thing was great
William E Inman Sr
Pros: Great location. If this motel was renovated it would be much better.
Cons: Non-smoking room had strong odor of smoke. Cleaning crew was outside partying all night.
Pros: Location was great. 15 min from red rocks and 15 min from downtown with things around. Staff was friendly. Hotel was standard
Cons: Our room was a non smoking room but smelled of cigarettes pretty bad.
Pros: It was perfect!!!! Thank you!

Pros: Clean, nice, bright room with cook area (2-berner stove, 4-cup coffee maker, apartment-size refrigerator, dishwasher, and dishes and silverware for two). Food pantry on 1st floor with reasonably-priced snacks and frozen meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Free laundry facilities, wifi, coffee, popcorn, and DVD movies. Good daily rate through online deal-seeking service.
Cons: We were stupid: 4 out of 6 dryers in laundry facility were disconnected due to water damage from a leak that was being addressed by a contractor. We didn't realize that 6 washers feeding into 2 available dryers created a bottleneck, which forced us to dry our laundry in our room. In a perfect world, the staff could have hung signs on the washing machines warning of the potential bottleneck for those of us not observant enough to realize the issue, but I'm not going to blame the staff. If we had done our laundry the night before, we wouldn't have been inconvenienced at all.

Pros: The hotel was only a few minutes from my conference location and the hotel location is semi-secluded. The bed was very comfortable, and overall the room was well laid out. The entire staff were very courteous and helpful.
Cons: I think the breakfast menu needs to be expanded, and preparation can be improved.

Pros: Modern rooms with heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Easy access from highway and close proximity to restaurants. Enjoy the complimentary breakfast buffet.
Pros: Clean, comfortable, staff was helpful and nice...and there were dinosaurs. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The dinosaurs were great. The pool was clean even tho the hot tub was out of service. The breakfast was by far the best and hot. The restaurant was clean. The staff was friendly and polite
Cons: The beds were small for a queen size. Hard to sleep with pool people being loud. Room was small. Bathroom was small as well.
Pros: The Dino theme, in-house cafe, clean rooms, free coffee
Cons: The bathroom even for a king bedroom was very tiny. It was a little far from downtown Denver if you're taking public transit, but not too far if you have a car.
Pros: Bed was super comfy
Cons: No tub in rooms. Restaurant is only open for dinner and is mostly sandwiches.
Pros: Bed was comfortable, room was clean, quiet. Staff helped carry luggage to 2nd floor
Cons: No elevator
Pros: I really liked how nice the staff were & how clean the housekeeping kept things.
Cons: The doors were kind of tricky to open, the fire alarm went off at 1:30am.
Pros: I booked this hotel for the dinosaurs and it didn't disappoint. In the end, it was your average Best Western, but the dinos were a nice bonus. The location is great for sites like Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge; less so for downtown Denver activities. The hot breakfast and pool were great too.
Pros: If you like clean and dinasours this is the place for you
Pros: They have a lot of fossils in the lobby and during breakfast there's a nice girl there to educate everyone, adults and children, on some of the history of fossils. It's really cool.
Cons: The bathrooms are kind of small and there's no elevator to the second floor, for people who have a difficult time with stairs.
Pros: Alice, the assistant general manager was very nice about getting us to another hotel the first night of our trip. We had booked 3 days at this hotel. The hotel was clean and very nicely updated. The pool area has a nice place to eat breakfast and the pool was large and clean. It was a decent place to stay for the price.
Cons: Everyday, in the hall where our room was, the entire length of the hallway and half the width was taken over with dirty laundry (bed linens, towels). We've never seen this at a hotel. Maybe there wasn't enough room in the laundry area. Not sure. Also, the morning after we were directed to the other hotel, we came back to this hotel around 8:00 a.m. One of the young girls told us we could not check in early! I tried explaining to her that we had 3 days booked and paid for and she wouldn't hear it. After all, it wasn't our fault the electricity was out our first night. I explained to her that I had spoken with Alice about this (she didn't believe me and asked what Alice looked like) and when I described Alice, she left the front desk and returned with Alice. Alice was very nice and got us a room. She said the girl didn't know we were already in the system (even though I told the rude girl we were).
I do want to stress that Alice was VERY accommodating.

Enjoy the best that Denver has to offer and still find time to take in the scenic beauty of Colorado while experiencing the same great service and value you have come to expect at the Best Western Denver Southwest.
Cons: Very small bathroom for $185 a night. Single sink.
Pros: The staff was friendly and professional, although some guy who works the restaurant literally chases you down to seat you pointlessly. The location in Golden is close to Red Rocks.
Cons: The hotel is really old and run down for the price. The beds weren't comfy, but most of all, the walls are incredibly thin. Each night we had to call security because the room above or next to us was partying... They weren't even being that loud and you could hear every word they were saying thru the wall.
Pros: The food service/kitchen staff is superb. They will do whatever it takes to make the customer happy.
Cons: I wanted a room a room with a balcony but they allowed me to check in at 11am with no problem.

Pros: Pet friendly with no fees. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The limited breakfast, but it was adequate.
Pros: The hotel was very convenient and the rooms were very clean. It's located in a perfect area to head downtown Denver or up into the mountains or quickly reach Red Rocks.
Cons: Overheard one person complain about pot smoking smell, but although the hotel is 100% smoke free, the front desk said that since it was now legal in Denver, there was nothing they could do about it. Also, we were under the impression based on the description through Kayak and Booking.com that our room was the suite; however we received a lesser room. The breakfast coffee was extremely weak, too.

Pros: Comfortable beds....professional friendly staff....refrigerator in room
Cons: Slow elevators.....
Pros: Staff was very friendly and helpful. The parts of the hotel that are more recently renovated look nice. The restaurant is also nice. Conveniently located for Red Rocks Amphitheater.
Cons: Facilities are badly in need of an update. Bathroom in the bedroom was very outdated and felt dirty. The linen also seemed as though it needed to be replaced. While the linen seemed clean, there were parts that were badly stained which just feels gross. I felt that for the cost of the hotel, and the expectations I have for a Sheraton, I got what I would expect from a lower class motel.
Pros: Room was very clean, and very comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Pros: Great Location.
Cons: Elevators take absolutely forever. The dresser drawers were missing from the dresser. Parking is almost non-existent.
Pros: I was hesitant about this hotel because of other negative ratings. But it was a great hotel! Good customer service
