Pros: very good service, friendly staff, decorated beautifully for the holiday season. great location, close to everything.
Cons: we did not find an in-room coffee maker, which we would expect for our junior suite.
Pros: Beautiful grounds and pool, Princess rooms, and very friendly attentive staff. Jack in hospitality greeted us, gave us great recommendations, and went above and beyond to make our stay welcoming and made us feel at home. Can't speak highly enough for the amaxing and genuine staff. Truely a luxury hotel with first class amenities.
Cons: Only positive things to say.

Pros: I was very impressed with the breakfast at the hotel. Clean and quiet. It was great.
Cons: Parking area was small.
Pros: Very nice room, very functional for a business stay, great location. Staff was very helpful.
Cons: Fitness room was not good. Equipment was not functional, had to go elsewhere to get a workout.
Would like to see more in the area near the front desk where you can buy quick snacks or personal items. Was way to limited. I had to go to a grocery store to get what I needed.
Pros: It was better than our expectations. Very clean and quiet and the breakfast was much above average.
Pros: The Best Western in Layton was perfect for us. The location was near the functions we attended and there were numerous choices nearby to eat and shop. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fine.
Cons: Didn't care for the cable news selections on the TV. I prefer to get fair and balanced newscasts and cable channels. We could watch MSNBC and CNN but not Fox News was excluded from choices available to guests. Hmmmm!
Pros: Slow elevator. That is the only complaint I can think of. Everything else was excellent and will definitely return on next trip.
Pros: This was a very nice place to stay. Our room was quiet and decently secluded which is what we asked for and the breakfast was excellent!
Cons: I wish we would have been able to check in earlier than 4:00pm. We had a wedding that evening and was rushing to get everyone ready.
Pros: Breakfast was good in my room was nice with the couch
Cons: The front desk staff were not very helpful and didn't seem like they even want to be
Pros: The rooms were very clean and I felt at home once I walked in. They had a great selection of breakfast food and I was very pleased with our stay. We will definitely stay there again!
Cons: Not quiet, could hear all of our neighbors, breakfast was lacking, staff was not really helpful

Pros: Hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and my kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Cons: We could here the people up from us walking around all night. The doors to the rooms are very loud when you close them.

Cons: Head desk lady seemed annoyed with any family at the hotel she didn't hide it well she didn't like families there. The pool only stays open until 10:00. The rooms lighting is annoying the bathroom lights wouldn't work for some reason, the glass sliding door into the bathroom was horrible once it was shut it would take me a grown man to open it for the kids and my wife. Breakfast was so so, there is much better breakfasts out there I have stayed at the Hyatt House just 20 minutes away from the hotel and it has better amenities and breakfast. Also two of my children forgot toothbrushes so they went down to get one and they charged them for a toothbrush I mean for $160 a night that is ridiculous. Also we pulled out the hide a bed and there was a huge hairball from the wash or something it was pretty gross.
Pros: Everything was nearby and that you could order from the kitchen 24/7 super easy.
Cons: Pay to park, I am already paying for a room and taxes and then you charge me to park at your hotel.
Pros: The room is spacious, and the furniture is arranged well. The bed is comfortable, the study desk conducive to getting work done. The breakfast is excellent. The location, near the Convention Center, the light rail, and restaurants and shops is great.
Cons: The fitness room has old equipment that does not work well. These are heavily used, so it would be a good idea to replace them.
Pros: Nice look, new
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The staff was outstanding! Stella and Aple were terrific!
Pros: Everything was excellent
Pros: The staff was very kind and accommodating. The facilities were very clean, modern, and sleek. And the location is incredibly convenient.
Cons: The parking situation was confusing since I've never been in the area and arrived in the dead of the night. There weren't clear instructions pasted anywhere explaining what to do.
Pros: Room was nice and spacious. Breakfast was great!
Cons: Extra 10 bucks to park
Pros: Coffee and hot chocolate bar!!
Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel.
Rooms were amazing - huge couch and new furniture!
Cons: Available parking was limited in the paid lot behind the hotel.
Pros: It was very clean, friendly, and quite and breakfast was great
Pros: Staff was friendly and efficient. Nice rooms. Excellent central location for doing business.
Pros: The Room was massive. It have a great living room area with couches dry bar and fridge. The staff was more than friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the beds were so comfy. The hot breakfast was tasty and had a great verity. The hotel was close to the Gateway and downtown. I was very pleased with this purchase.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was you couldn't get beer or drinks after 11 P.M.
The hotel is a 6 story building with rooms that are well equipped for business and leisure travelers seeking a true downtown location in the heart of retail shops. Complimentary Gallery Kitchen Breakfast, featuring build your own breakfast bowls, waffles, French toast, pancakes and steel cut oatmeal, available daily.
Cons: Girl that checked us in put us in the wrong room and when told did it again. I went to remedy and was told that hotels.com could not reserve the room I requested and that I would need to request refund from them. I went back to wrong room, called hotels.com and miraculously the correct room opened up!
Yeah for hotels.com
Pros: It was clean and centrally located.
Cons: TL;DR We were overcharged for the room. The room was dark and tiny. We were "upgraded" to a smaller, darker room. Don't stay here.
Paying via priceline was $40 more than the hotel website advertised. On a night when the hotel was nearly empty, we were given an awkward corner room that was poorly lit and the size of a closet. Front desk was nice enough to "upgrade" us.... to a smaller and darker yet equally uncomfortable corner room. The robes were threadbare, faded leopard print, and gross. It was so terrible that we questioned whether we were on Candid Camera.
I've been a lifelong Kimpton devotee but never again. There are so many great hotel options in SLC. Don't waste your time or money here.
Pros: My husband and I enjoy staying here because it's always modern, clean, sophisticated and welcoming. They are so friendly and the rooms have these fun and creative amenities, like yoga mats & animal print bathrobes. We often have overnight lay-overs and roadtrip pit-stops in Salt Lake City and the Kimpton Monaco never disappoints.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Location, friendly staff, decor
Cons: Room 708 must be very close to ventsbof some sort because there is a hum going on the whole day and night, which could affect quality or sleep.
Pros: Well decorated, nice overall.
Cons: Other people's showers so loud it kept me up, knocking on my door when I have do not disturb tag hanging, if you arrive late at night your reservation may disappear, parking is stupid expensive considering cost of room, no parking for large vehicles.
Pros: Restaurant was very good - except for the dogs.
Staff was helpful and friendly
Pros: Loved it here! Great place to stay! The staff is so friendly, definitely has a high end feel. Furnishings are very nice and unique layout. Very clean. Bed is very comfortable. I highly recommend getting room service. The restaurant in the hotel is to die for. They accept pets and welcome them with open arms. Valet service for $24 per night is very worth it! Lovely hotel!
Pros: I would definitely recommend it . I am going to stay more over there
Cons: Everything was great.
Pros: The staff was so nice and very accommodating! Their Bambora resturant was amazing! The best food I've ever had! It was so good that we ate there for dinner and breakfast. Wine/social hour was very relaxing. It was a fabulous get away!!!

Pros: I've stayed here before and was greatly surprised how nice it is now.
Pros: Super nice. Friendly staff. Flight was cancelled and they were really helpful.
Pros: The rooms were very spacious and very clean.
Cons: The elevators were broken and we were not informed about it after waiting for a long while with all of our luggage we decided to use the stairs. I understand things happen but a common courtesy would have had front desk tell us and offerd any help with our luggage.
My neighbors were very loud and obnoxious how ever I did not call lobby which is my fault but possibly having security do a walk through through the halls at night would be a good idea for this hotel.
Pros: Easy to park. The staff was excellent. Our room was very nice. Well kept and clean place. Would recommend to anyone.
Pros: We enjoyed the room, the view was great of the city, and we could walk around to where we wanted to go.
Cons: The bath tub didn't drain and so we showered in a tub full of water.
Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean
Cons: Front Desk staff where not very knowledgable
Pros: Safe and clean
Cons: Needs to be updated
Cons: No continental breakfast
Pros: Clean rooms, absolutely immaculate grounds. All trees, bushes, and flowers were trimmed to perfection.
Pros: Bed was very comfortable room was very spacious
Cons: Lots of noise from the parking lot area at 11pm sounded like a street sweeper going through the parking lot
Pros: My family really liked the pool and fitness area. We even ordered poolside meal service which was delicious.
Cons: There was a snotty lady working in the fine gift shop who gave my 3 year old and myself the stink eye as my daughter hugged the bulldog sitting at the gift shop entrance
Little America Hotel is located in Salt Lake City's business, cultural, and entertainment district. Locally owned and operated for over 60 years, Little America is the largest hotel in Utah. The hotel's superior service, accommodations and amenities make it an ideal location for business or leisure travel.
Pros: Convenient to all the downtown sights. Back patio is right on Gallivan Center plaza. Great views of the mountains. Cheerful service from everyone, from valet to housekeeping to front desk.
Cons: Dinner at on-site restaurant was just okay.
Pros: Great location and the view from my window was amazing. Very friendly staff. Clean comfortable bed.
Cons: For the price the room was small, No spa, No coffee in the room. Not a hot tub, jacuzzi to be found. Room was hot. I was a very sad girl.
Pros: The hotel itself is nice. It's comfortable, clean. Seems best for business or couples. The indoor pool was fun with a city view.
Cons: We had a few problems with our room upon arrival. Online we had booked a room with a sofa bed, and the microwave/fridge. The room they gave us had no sofa bed for our kids, so they switched us to a room with no fridge/microwave.
The staff weren't very friendly. When asking questions about breakfast, facilities, getting extra blankets and pillows etc. they were rude and treated us as if we were being incovenient with all these "silly" questions.
The pillows were miserable! Down and feather pillows provide no support so it made sleeping on a nice mattress difficult.
Pros: the staff was great , the bed comfortable , room was nice
Cons: parking was difficult , room service was a little slow
Pros: The rooms were all updated beautifully with modern bathrooms and very comfortable bedding. Would definitely stay again !!

Bad location and a room that smelled worse than a dirty sock is the nicest way I can describe our stay here. We left after one night thereby sacrificing our budget to stay somewhere else. Of course all of the disclaimers say you are not allowed a refund for any reason so I guess I'm SOL. I do not plan on booking with priceline again.
Pros: That we left it in the rear view window after a miserable night
Cons: Location and room.
Booked a non-smoking room. Hotel put us in a nonsmoking room, claiming that priceline didn't provide them any data that I require a non-smoking room. Hotel provided us their last available non-smoking room, so it was ok. In the future, I am unlikely to use priceline as the savings are not worth the potential of this requirement not being honored.
Cons: Hotel is a bit run down for a Hampton Inn

Pros: the rooms were very comfortable and modern, front desk guy was extremely nice and helpful made our stay fantastic, 24/7 indoor pool/jacuzzi is a great feature too
Pros: There were a few staff members that were great. At the end of the day, we just needed a clean place to sleep & that was what we got.
Cons: There were very few restaurants in the area (two to be exact). We were told that the hotel was in close proximity to the train station but it turned out to be a hassle to get the shuttle to take us over there. They had no idea the schedule of the trains so we waited an hour one day for the train & then they had to come get us another day because it was going to be a 2 hr wait. We also had to get a cab to take us to the airport because their shuttle doesn't run 24 hours a day (this would've been good to know up front). There was also a lot of road construction right across the street. The hotel also seemed like it hadn't been updated in a while. It was dark & dingy.
Pros: Inside recently redone, breakfast good
Cons: Room was not cleaned 2 days we were there. Staff was not very frienfly. Pool/hot tub needs updated.
Pros: Very clean rooms!! Love it!
Cons: Free breakfast
Pros: Room was a bit bigger than some mid-range hotels. The staff was great. They sent me an email before the visit just to ask my preferences. They also sent a text that day to ask what time I'd like to check in. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast looked good (we were in a hurry and didn't have time to eat.) Good easy access on and off the freeway.
Cons: Slightly tight parking.

Pros: The beds are very comfortable and the staff very helpful
Cons: Loved it all
Pros: Convenience to the highway, familiar brand, bed was comfortable
Cons: Had to wait about 8 minutes to be checked in even though no one else was in line. Hotel needs to be upgraded, carpet in hallways was gross and elevator was very run down. Ice machine was leaking and gross with stains.
Pros: Cleanliness, modern furnishings, most needs for our stay were met.
Cons: No rollaway beds available; extra towels weren't provided as asked at online check-in; have to go to front desk for extra towels; check-out statement should indicate if check-out is complete without calling or going to front desk; Bistro location should be mentioned.

Pros: Location. Walking distance to the Davis Conference Center. When we realized this, we walked to our meetings the second day. Many choices for breakfast including lots of healthy choices. Dishes, full fridge, microwave, dishwasher in room.
Pros: Nice and contemporary. My family really enjoyed the space of the suites and the comfortable feeling of the hotel.
Pros: Breakfast available just run down and get it, enough choices even a freezer and snack stand. Overall easy place to stay for business layover.
Pros: Good location. Modern design.
Cons: Pool under construction. Hidabed had hair all over sheet, had not been changed. Carpets dingy.
Cons: Pool and hot tub were under construction. Main reason we went there was to swim and get away. :( Need more people helping with breakfast. No one was at the front desk.
Pros: kitchenette in room
Cons: the pool was under construction
This hotel was great to stay at! I would definitely stay there again.
Pros: The room was fantastic, it looked sleek and modern and was very comfortable.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was my experience at the hotel. We thought the hot tub would be relaxing at 10:00 PM, but there were children splashing us, running and jumping into the pool, and using the lifesavers as tubes to play with.
This is the third time I have stayed at this hotel and I won't be back! Each time I've had problems with other people being very loud. Slamming doors, you can hear other rooms' bathroom doors opening and shutting-very annoying in the middle of the night! Every time I go to the desk, no one is there and you use the phone and they pop up from behind the glass. Very weird and not customer service oriented at all. Kids running up and down the halls all hours of the night and the desk clerk doesn't do anything. If you stay on the back side - you can hear all the drunk people coming out of the bar at closing time.
Pros: I love the thought of this hotel. It is very nice having the large table that is movable and I love the kitchens in them.
Cons: The hotel itself has been very poorly insulated. You can hear everything in the rooms next to you. You can hear the outside as well. The pocket doors on the bathroom is a good space saver; however, they are very loud when closing & opening.
Pros: Very modern, great rooms.
Cons: Priceline only let us book for one day and we had to switch rooms. But staff was very accommodating.
Hilton quality gym and pool/spa. Can go to the club at the Hilton Garden Inn across the street. No stovetop or oven in my studio room, not sure about other rooms, but a full fridge and freezer and microwave and dishwasher with dinnerware and utensils sufficed for a few days. Free tea, coffee and cocoa around the clock in well-designed front area and grilling area with 2 or 3 Weber grills in outdoor area by pool were awesome.
Pros: Great look and feel to everything, decent breakfast, see also review
Cons: Used to be the apples at the front desk were always high quality, but the new front desk staff seems to have gotten lazy about them.
Pros: Rooms were very nice and located close to everything we wanted to see
Cons: I wish there had been a stove and oven, since it did say it had a full kitchen, but lacked the cooking range

Pros: My room was very comfortable, upscale even. The fireplace was nice, the shower was phenomenal.
Cons: After I had been in my room for a few hours, there was a knock on my door. It was someone else who had been checked into my room. He went on his way and about fifteen minutes later, I got a call from the front desk who were clearly confused about who I was and why I was in the room they had checked me in to. After that had been resolved, I called down to front desk to reserve a spot on the airport shuttle. After a slightly awkward conversation, she took down my name and room number and told me I was good to go. When I went down the next morning for my shuttle reservation, I was told the shuttle had left without me because I wasn't on the list.
Cons: floor directly above the kitchen all I could smell every night was dinner being cooked downstairs

Pros: Good breakfast. Better than other places we've stayed. Nice people. Good room.
Cons: Breakfast not as good as I remember. Parking was limited. Loading/unloading lane was packed with overnight parking. The regular parking was all taken. We were sent across the street with a parking pass. When we went leave the attendant didn't recognize or no what to do with the pass. Luckily he let us through.
Pros: Everything was perfect, no issues whatsoever. The room was cleaned so thoroughly everyday that it felt like we were getting a brand new room every day.
Cons: No complaints whatsoever.
Pros: The room was very nice. The facility was clean and well situated. I really liked the pool, sauna, and the overall room.
Cons: My friend ended up getting food poisoning after eating the breakfast. Please make sure that your food is fresh. He got very little rest that night and ended up vomiting for most of the trip.
Pros: The beds are comfortable.
Cons: Shilo In is under construction. Do not stay here unless you absolutely have to. The front lobby is cold, the parking is behind the Shilo Inn (you have to walk around the block to access the parking). Construction in the building is from 7am - 7pm (noisy and don't even try to sleep in). After I got to the Shilo Inn, is when I realized how much work is being done, and I still paid full price.
Pros: I enjoyed the friendly staff, convenient location, and the clean rooms!
Pros: convenient location, Nice staff
Cons: all else was bad. it smelled, our room had a whole in the ceiling and our bed had hair in it. The breakfast was bad and weird.
Pros: Great location!
Cons: Elevators were constantly broken and the stairs were off limits so sometimes the weight for an elevator for 20-30 min
Pros: Nice big / clean room and comfy bed. Enjoyed the pool and spa and especially the proximity to the convention center for the conference I was attending.
Cons: The hotel is under construction. It's getting a much needed update, but that meant construction noise and scaffolding outside my window. Wasn't a big deal.
Pros: Staff was nice, good location.
Cons: The hotel was very run down. Had broken table, ancient tv, and microwave. Free breakfast was a joke. Don't recommend staying there.

Pros: Bed was very comfy and big for me, my wife and out 7 month old little boy. Staff was nice and helpful. Had a great view from the 9th floor. Location was awesome. For a last minute trip, this place a gold to stay at.
Cons: The bathroom was small, I have stayed at cheaper places with bigger bathrooms. Breakfast was over priced. It was cheaper for my family to go else where for food.
Cons: Bed was awful. Lobby was stark and uninviting.
Pros: Bed was comfy...perfect for two. City view at night was amazing. Originally paid for the high rise but they tried to put me on the third floor. Desk worker Sage was very kind and helpful in getting us into a more appropriate room on the 14th floor.
Cons: Small bathroom....small bathtub. Very few options for "gift store." 7 dollars for a bowl of cereal!!
Pros: this is one of the best hotels in SLC, the location, amenities and friendliness of staff is outstanding
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: $15.00 for parking and no free wifi.

Pros: The bed was amazing and the bathroom was massive
Cons: The room did get a little cold at night.
Pros: Clean. Vintage.
Cons: A/C didn't work and it was way too hot. Rooms were tiny and a bit cramped.
Pros: The Peery is located conveniently to great restaurants, the Salt Palace, and downtown SLC. I was able to walk everywhere I went. The airport was only 15 minutes away by Uber. All the staff were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. The hotel has that boutique charm and has been redone beautifully.
Cons: I was there during some unseasonably warm days. Being on third floor, all the heat seemed to come up to my room. Apparently, because of the age of the building, they can only turn on the heat OR the AC. I sweltered the first night. The next day I asked at the desk and they told me to leave the HV/AC system off and my room would cool down. Normally, that may have been true, but due to the warm days, it didn't happen. They then got me a box fan, which helped tremendously. I was more comfortable for the rest of my stay.
Pros: The beds were very comfy and the decor and location were nice.
Cons: When the heater turned on, it was excessively loud (hard to sleep through) and the bathroom fan was very loud as well.
Pros: Staff was great. Friendly, helpful and professional.
Cons: The key card system was broken, so no room keys. Quite a hassle.
Cons: The building smelt old and so did the room, I was worried my cloths would take on the smell so I left. The toilet was pretty much right next to the wall with the towel rack right over it so you couldn't go to the bathroom with out removing the towels first. The room was very small as well.
Pros: The elevator that only holds 2 people and works intermittently.
Cons: Kinda worn and musty.
Pros: Staff was very friendly, location is fantastic!! It is old and has less amenities but this was no surprise as we reviewed the comments from other travellers. Breakfast is fine nothing special ! But overall it is a great value for what you get.
Cons: Did not like having to pay for parking !!!!!!! Again the breakfast was nothing special and the internet in the room was slow but I did find that the internet down in the business room was fine!
Pros: The staff was wonderful, even going so far as to loan me a phone charger because I left mine at home! The hotel is a 15 minute was to the Family History Library, right through downtown. The lobby is very nice. The room was perfect for my needs, clean and simple. It's not the Ritz, but that's not what you're paying for! Great value. I'd stay here agin on a trip to Salt Lake.
Pros: It's close to everything and close to public transportation. Also it's a historical building which is awesome. The place have a lot of history which made us really like it.
Cons: The breakfast is not really good it's an ok breakfast. And also there is no parking so you have to pay hourly Parking or park from 8 pm to 8 am for free

Pros: Great location to downtown! The rooms were pretty good quality and appear to be updated.
Cons: I visited while the outside temp was 105 and the interior hallways to the rooms matched that or exceeded that. The room AC was great but the halls were too hot.
Pros: The location is great. Light rail stop right out front. Half a block to the convention center. Only feet from the Salt Lake Temple if you are interested in sightseeing
Pros: It was in the heart of Salt Lake City across of Temple Square, across of Abravanel Hall, and City Creek Shopping Center. The free fare zone helped to get around using the train in front of the hotel and several buses nearby. Nice view of the city from the hotel.
Cons: I found a few stains on the upper part of the shower curtain, lack of space to put luggage down, and a cold draft coming from the balcony door even though it was closed. This was mainly due to the snow storm though.
Pros: VERRY CONVENENT FOR MY STAY AS I WAS IN THE DAYS OF 47 PARADE AND I LIVE IN CACHE VALLY. I BOOKED AT THE RIGHT TIME. GOOD RATES .
Pros: Conveniently located next to Temple Square, within walking distance of the convention center. Easy access to lots of local restaurants/shops/bars. The staff was always very nice, and the light rail from the airport stops directly in front of the hotel. My room also had a great view of the Temple Square area and the mountains in the background.
Cons: Not a very big room, although I didn't need a lot of space as a solo business traveler. The bed wasn't the most comfortable I've slept in, but it could have been much worse. They offered the option to not wash the sheets every day if desired (in order to save water and resources), which I appreciated, but did not offer to do the same for the towels.
Pros: Nice place, great location and walking distance to shopping mall.
Hotel room clean and spacious.
Pros: Nice place, great location, has been recently updated with décor, bed was very comfortable, room was clean, free internet with good service
Cons: Staff was knowledgeable but a little slow, price was a high versus other locations of similar quality, not a modern or chic building but very serviceable.
Pros: Within walking distance to city creek
Cons: Room was very small. Run down. Needs up dated. Not worth the money. Water hot then cold in shower. Staff was ok.
Pros: Everything we came to Salt Lake City for is within walking distance of the Salt Lake Plaza & at a very reasonable price. This was my second visit & would stay again when I return to town.
Cons: It would be nice if parking were included in the rate, but the $5.00 fee is reasonable & parking is secure.
Pros: Great location!
Cons: The water in the morning would be hot and then cold- not very comfortable!
Pros: Unplanned overnight in Salt Lake due to flight cancellation. Hotel is ideally located (really is adjacent to Temple Square and City Creek). Squeaky clean. Deco lifted from a set of "The Americans," or maybe something five or ten years earlier. Not old, just old.
Pros: I liked the location and friendly staff
Cons: The old rooms and broken heater, loud refrigerator. Not the cleanest bedding.

Pros: There were granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The place was much nicer than we expected.
Cons: We had a room facing the pool, so we heard the conversations of obnoxious late-night swimmers when our window was open.
We liked everything about our stay and it was conveniently located by many stores and restaurants.
Pros: The hotel was much better than the pictures. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was great, we were surprised by the full set of dishes and pots and pans. We cooked a full dinner and saved $ by not eating out.
Cons: The hotel was very nice.

Pros: Refrigerator and microwave were a must for me so i enjoyed having both in my room. I enjoyed the free breakfast with lots of choices it saves you money when you are staying a lot of days especially with kids. I like the comforters they had on the beds and i like the toiletries.
Cons: The sink was not in the bathroom which isn't uncommon ,but it was directly next to the door so if you have people coming it and out of your room it's hard to get ready because you are standing in front of it. The pool tile is very slippery and we saw someone slip and fall.
