9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location of the hotel is amazing! It's surrounded by so many stores to shop at. Breakfast was delicious the 5 mornings that we ate there! The staff at the front desk and the one's serving breakfast were always so friendly and helpful. And we were only a few minutes away from Lagoon, which was such a bonus!!
Cons: Housekeeping could've been so much better! We stayed for 6 nights and 4 days into our stay they vacuumed and cleaned the restroom. There was one day when we came back and housekeeping hadn't came in at all, they didn't leave toilet paper either. At the time of our stay, they were building a Barnes and Noble close to the hotel and the noise every morning would be what would wake us up, but that's understandable.

Cons: Front desk staff were incompetent and less than helpful at four different times we asked for a drink at the bar or when asked for towels or even just napkins at breakfast.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and friendly staff. They gave me a very late check-out so that I had somewhere to work before my flight.
Cons: WOuld be great if the fridge had drinks and snacks. Also would be great if they offered room service.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very clean, loved that it was ALL non smoking, up to date, yummy breakfast, kind employees.
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean rooms, friendly staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating. The lady running the breakfast was efficient and kept up on keeping the food filled and warm. She even opened early so that the racers could eat before going to the race.
Cons: The parking lot had very tight parking slots.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked the quiet atmosphere in the hotel as well as the friendly staff. Another thing I really appreciated was the way I could choose to have my room done each day. Best Western really is environment friendly and rewards their guests for making positive choices.
Cons: Towels are like sandpaper. The bottles of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion are WAY too small! Not even enough for a single use.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room was fully renovated and very nice. The beds were very comfortable. Very quiet. Breakfast was the standard fare but decent. Hotel staff was very pleasant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect for me, closest hotel to the race venue; however, it looks like it is out in the boonies. Don't be deceived though, keep going up the hill and you have lots of shopping and eating options. Beds and pillows were super comfy and although we were pretty close to highway, road noise was not an issue. Great breakfast in the morning and the staff was always friendly.
Cons: No complaints. Nice Best Western.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good value, confortable and no bad surprises as usual with BW.
Cons: Pool is disappointing, small, inside only
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All good here, perfect stop over prior to catching Amtrak train to San Francisco. Room clean and comfortable. Pool open until 10pm. Gym looks good. Staff polite.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was delicious, pool and hot tub fun for the kids.
Cons: Beds uncomfortable. Hot tub a little dirty.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was nice. Staff was pleasant.
Cons: No walking or hiking path nearby without getting in the car. The noise from the railroad track nearby. The a/c unit was loud. The sheets and towels were not that soft.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff were consistently friendly and helpful. We liked the daily availability of complimentary newspapers and breakfasts. It was nice to have a thermostat instead of having to adjust the cooler by the window. The option to open the window during the thunderstorm was nice. We were also able to enjoy the hum of the train; it was not annoying at all. Finally, having treat options at the front desk was convenient for guests. But most of all, we liked the provisions for a safe environment. We slept soundly.
Cons: The King size bed was lumpy and six pillows instead of the four provided would’ve helped. There should be a grab bar on both ends of the tub; it was awkward entering the shower directly under the shower head. Since housekeeping doesn’t replace the individual sized shampoo and conditioner each day, the pump size containers that are attached to the shower wall, should be kept full; by the third day the shower gel and hair products were down to a trickle. Fortunately, we always carry our own bar of soap. When there is a renovation in the bathroom, it may be a consideration to place an electrical outlet on both sides of the sink and vanity counter. The only outlet was on the side closest to the sink and only had a three inch counter so that placing a hair dryer there was precarious (as was using it so close to a water source). It was awkward. Finally, the options on the card intended for housekeeping to customize the cleaning of the room should have more specific options. For instance, we asked that only the pillow cases be changed on the third day; we didn’t know we had to also ask for the bed to be made. We considered that an obvious expectation, but the bed was left alone. But the pillow cases were changed! Finally, get some other chairs that are comfortable! The desk chair was easier to sit and relax in more than the large easy chair next to the bed. It was hard and had no cushion to it when seated. The upside was that it made the lumpy bed more welcoming!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean
Cons: Nothing

Pros: The staff was really friendly and accommodating.
Cons: Rooms and grounds were dirty. Pretty pricey stay for a hotel that needs serious work and updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location felt like we were in a apartment so comfy
Cons: Doors were hard to open with the key cards at times
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The room felt very home-like and comfortable. The kitchenette was the highlight for my stay since there was a fully-functioning kitchen where my friend and I could use to prepare meals. We liked the small details that made it very comfortable with short notes from the staff. Front desk person was very friendly and provided all the information that was needed. She did take care of one issue that occurred with check-in with ease that was a result from booking online. Relating to the location of the hotel, it has everything that a person could need within walking distance. Any shopping needs can be found across the street from the hotel as well as having various restaurants across or down the road.
Cons: The only thing that I didn't like about my stay dealt with the furniture and items in the room. We wished that there would be more mirrors in different locations, so my friend or I could get ready while the other was occurring the bathroom. The phone that wasn't usable. There were a few dents at the bottom of the bathtub in the room that I stay at.

Cons: We had to get 3 sets of card keys from the front desk because they wouldn’t open our room door. After the 3rd time, the front desk clerk came up to look at it. She took a minute to open it, practically having to force the door open with her shoulder. She then handed us the keys and said she would send maintenance up to fix it. They never showed up. We were never offered any kind of discount for our inconvenience and were even told by the front desk clerk that they were in the process of changing door locks because these were old and not always trustworthy. That made my family feel safe as we slept that night! If any other hotel had had an open room, we would have gone there instead. I was thoroughly unsatisfied with my service and overall stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: There were granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen. The place was much nicer than we expected.
Cons: We had a room facing the pool, so we heard the conversations of obnoxious late-night swimmers when our window was open.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Ac not working in our room, no towels, under staffed
Cons: The pool
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was friendly and the 2 room suite worked perfect for our family with an affordable price.

Pros: I liked the location and that it was close to Lagoon and restaurants. Easy access to the freeway.
Cons: The smoke alarm went off at 2:30 in the morning and I could not get it to shut off. I tried to call the office and report it but just got the busy signal. The next morning I told the front desk and she was like, you should of come to the office and rag the bell. That would mean getting dressed, going outside to the front office and who knows if the door was really unlocked. There should be a way to call and talk to someone about a problem. Also I wanted a non-smoking room and the room smelled of stale smoke. I rented two rooms for the night, and the other room was fine.

Pros: That I had a place for my dogs. Even though the room that they put me in stated it wasn't pet friendly.
Cons: Everything else! The rooms weren't clean and I didn't appreciate the manager (women) blaming the housekeeper. She stated she has a lot going on her personal life (it's not my place as a stranger to know) not to mention they have more than one housekeeper. The remote to the tv didn't work due to a previous guest spilling on it. For over 400$ it wasn't worth it, and feel bad for my parents who paid for this room!
4.5 Okay
Pros: price was ok
Cons: Walls were paper thin. Mold on the ceiling in the bathroom
6.8 Good
Pros: It was quit and good location.
Cons: No elevators and every thing is located on first floor. The showers were small and cramped.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Wish I could give it worse ratings! It's a filthy slum flop house that reeks of pot being smoked and sweat. Fire alarm in the middle of the night left me standing in the parking lot surrounded by the dreggs of humanity. Loud music and loud people up and down the hall all night had me in fear for my life when I finally just got up and left at 4a.m.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Room was not clean. Floors dirty, walls, light fixtures not wiped Down. Sticky substances On refrigerator, chest.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: The price and overall value. I didn't need anything fancy. Just a clean comfortable room and at fair price.
Cons: Because I paid way less than other places, I did not expect to have a microwave or a mini refrigerator. However, for a small investment, this motel (for under $200) could have made this simple perk go a long way with their patrons.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The customer service was great, we were refunded our room.
Cons: The room was DISGUSTING!! The walls were filthy, there was feces wiped on the bathroom door, the floor was dirty.
5.0 Okay
Cons: Not to many towels in the bathroom
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great front desk lady
Cons: Stairs seemed seedy.
7.0 Good
Pros: Beds were good and comfortable, staff was nice.
Cons: Building was shabby. The door to the room didn't close all the way, so it was loud and there was a guy smoking and listening to music while drinking a 40 at 9 am right next door. The AC didn't work. it would turn on then off over and over. The bathroom floor was dirty. There were also no mini shampoo and conditioners provided or blow drier. We paid for two nights and left after the first night because of the situation.
6.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Corners weren't clean in the room. Had to pull the nightstand out to plug in CPAP and it was filthy behind it.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Convenient, quiet, clean and inexpensive.
Cons: No
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: No fridge, no microwave, a/c barely worked, no ice bucket, no ice v because the machine didn't work, horrible smells, rude cleaning ladies. To expensive for a room with no amenities. Only positive was the clerks friendly and helpful attitude on check in.
Cons: If they closed this location down.
5.0 Okay
Pros: There was no breakfast of any kind. The location was good.
Cons: We checked in at 10:30 pm. Our room was dirty - black hair still in the shower drain from previous tenant, food crumbs on one of the bed's bedspread, mirrors were smeared, sink looked like it had mold growing around the drain, room needed to be vacuumed. Door had large gap between it and the door jam - could see daylight through it. Lock was hard to use because of the gap in the door. Motel had raised it's price because of it being a busy weekend in that area and every other motel was booked up. The Price they charged was 2 times what it was worth.
8.3 Excellent
