Our stay was wonderful. The hotel is lovely and has such a beautiful view of the hills. The hotel staff and the staff at the Fireside Grill were all very nice and helpful, even though we had 3 children with us 2 yrs old and younger. We ended up checking in late and met Dave at the front desk. He was very helpful and really nice. Thanks for a nice stay! The tub in two of our three rooms drips constantly and the toilets are quite loud when they flush and then refill.
The hotel was a very quiet place. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The Fireside Grill
The staff was extremely accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep, but it met all our needs. We enjoyed tasty breakfasts in the restaurant. Unfortunately, the business center wasn't fully operational, but the staff, once again, came to our rescue and printed the documents we needed
Front Desk were VERY helpful! Cleaning service good. Nice location. Poor Pillow choice very uncomfortable.. too thick hurt my neck The whole family complained we had a room with 4 people and given towels for two Had to ask for extra towels every day! Front Desk were VERY helpful! Coffee maker very poor! Coffee for the in room maker not good.
Location acroos from the Fountain was great. Walked around the Fountain each day and met several very nice people. Great location.
Plenty of room. Location. Not clean. Hallways were very dirty. Room was not real clean. I recommend washable covers for bed. Additional blankets available and regular sized pillows. The pillows on the bed were the size of decorative pillows...not even standard size. I would also suggest to provide tea and creamer for coffee (rather than powdered creamer). Automatic checkout would be suggested and it would be nice to have pay per view movies available.
Service was excellent. This is a relatively new hotel and the picture on their web page does not do it justice. Nice clean facility, very nice staff. Great value and located in a very nice community of Fountain Hills...just across the street from the central fountain. The only negative as with all the hotels we stayed at in Phoenix...the coffee was more like water than coffee. Come to Canada, we'll show you what real coffee is like.
All through the night I was bitten several places on my arm. Looked like spider bites or some other resident insect that has made the mattress home.
The rooms are very spacious and clean, the attached bar and grill serves wonderful reasonably priced breakfast and also has a nice happy hour. The pillows are small and hard very strange, coffee maker was broke and the carpet could definetly use replacing or a deep cleaning at least, the fire alarm also went off in the middle of the night causing everyone to evacuate the building, however it was a false alarm.
It had a country club feel - very quiet, an older crowd, not a place to party.
The proximity to Fountain Hills No one was at the front desk when I checked in. I waited about 15 minutes. Then the guy didn't give me my credit card back. He didn't offer to drive me to my room even though it was late at night and I had luggage. They have golf carats for that reason. He just wasn't helpful. Also, this was a true case of the outside not reflecting the inside. The rooms were eh. You could get better at a Courtyard Marriott. The carpet reminded me of a Red Roof Inn. Now we're they clean? Yes. But cheap. Not what I expected. The room did have a fireplace though. So i wouldn't stay there again but it wasn't horrible.
Setting and quality of facilities were great. A luxury feel. Beautiful golf course.
Nice staff... clean rooms ... The booking service via kayak get a room .com did not send over my fax and therefore my room was given away luckily after 2 hrs on the phone with customer service they faxed over my reservation. I thank God they had one room left or an 2 hr drive home that night would have extremely sucked... no complimentary nothing on your behalf ... worst service ever kayak... thanks eagle inn for understanding their ineptitude. ...
