This location looked very sketchy in a bad area of Paris! We walked inside and it was essentially a gas station with a Hertz sticker in the window! The gas station attendant didn’t speak any English and was very rude to us. He was dismissive and completely unhelpful when we gave him our booking confirmation paperwork he replied in a low muttered tone in French that there was no reservation for us and that his colleague would be back at 9 (thankfully there was a gas station customer there for us who could translate). He didn’t want to help us at all and just kept telling us we had to wait until 9 (one hour later). We got there when the location opened at 8am. Now, this was a business trip for me and we had an important meeting to get to and I can’t tell you the stress it caused not having help OR THE CAR! We had the confirmation, why wasn’t the car there? Or, why couldn’t we rent literally any other car?! We realized there was no Hertz representative on site and who knows how long it might have been had we waited. I honestly didn’t want my personal information or credit card being swiped there at this point. Thankfully there was an Avis location 8 minutes walk down the road that got us into a vehicle quickly! THANK YOU AVIS! I will never use kayak to book a rental car again, or Hertz for that matter! TERRIBLE. Shut this location down!!!!Rent@Car
