Good location. Nice setting. 3 weddings. Restaurants and bar facilities limited due to wedding guests. Noise until 2 am from wedding guests.
Older more mature, Valentine's dinner (food good) No refrigerator in room. Asked them. They brought old, beat up frig. Then found 10 dollar fee on my bill. Price fixed Valentine's Day dinner. Service awful. Waited for water for 20 mins. Appetizer almost an hour. Then when I mentioned it to them they apologized and then brought out main course while still eating appetizer. For a 150 dinner that's unacceptable. So service/ bell personnel around. No one helped us with our luggage.
The bed was comfortable. Rooms were very outdated, had a mildew smell, bathroom was outdated and do not like liquid soap, shampoo etc on the wall where you can not even see it.
Friendly staff and good service Bathrooms need to be updated
clean rooms very nice but set up was strange
Staff was great. Very clean. Food and cocktail service was also excellent no complaints
I asked per my reservation for two beds and upon arrival I was given the wrong room. The person at the counter was told of the error then made the mistake again. Eventually I just switched with another couple I knew were staying there.
we loved the nostalgic indoor pool, and family recreation room. breakfast buffet was well organized, hot, and had plenty of choices for all. i think that the breakfast could have been included for the price, but it would not stop us from staying there again.
Character of place Not much
Beautiful rooms gorgeous hotel and very pleasant staff
Location was perfect for my trip. Grounds looked great! Rooms need to be renovated. Rooms need to be renovated.
Shuttle service to another wedding venue was great. Driver was respectful, buses were well stocked, great experience. The clerk at the front-desk did not know what she was doing. She took my debit card as a deposit. OK I can deal with that, but when we checked out, she must of rang it twice b/c when my wife I checked our bank card, there was a hold of $100. Being budget conscience, that $100 was unaccounted for. When I called and asked for clarification i was told that it could take 3-5 business days to clear.
I loved everything about the room. Staff was friendly. Complementary breakfast was good. Location was great, 15 mins from AC boardwalk. The jets in the bathtub didn't work. The jacuzzi in hotel was cold. Room was muggy when we first checked in but after we turned on air conditioning it was fine.
Close to AC where we were headed for a show. It was all good. Bed/bath clean. Hotel is transitioning and doing well with it. We did not discover aby inconvenience Only off thing, and it's not really a bad thing, but carpets appeared to need replacing. They were clean, but seemed older/worn.
The room & free breakfast! The Pool/Jacuzzi & parking at night. So my cousin & i wanted to go swimming but when we got there, something was off. We got saw the pool and it was completely green. So green that you couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. It totally looked like swamp water, so I turn to the left and there was the jacuzzi. It was the same color and the bubbles did not make it better. And then it didn't help that the amount of chlorine that was in that pool and jacuzzi just burned our eyes so bad that we just had to leave the room. So I proceeded to go to the front desk and ask why was the pool green? The manager at the front desk said "it's because a lot of people been in the pool" like what? I've been in plenty public pools & they have been as clear as can be, so that was a lie. So my next question was how often do you change the water in the pool? He goes on to say once a month. When he said that I knew I was not going natural because it was filthy. Then he tried to clear it up and saying they change some water weekly and add more chlorine. So it kind of made it seem like he was saying chlorine what's the answer to the swamp water but we all know that insane. Moving on now the parking at night was not a good situation. We went to AC and came back around 2 a.m. and there was no parking at all. We had the end up parking in a handicap parking spot. How do you not have enough parking for all your guest. Not a good look.
My family of 4 one being a child, stayed the week of the 4th of July, it was very busy, but it was still very satisfying. The staff is very helpful! The rooms are beautiful!! Full kitchen, laundry room in your actual room, secure porch that you can feel safe having your children on, everything was clean and kept nicely. You have to do your own trash take out though if you are staying more then one day. Nice outdoor pool, and indoor pool also. Plenty of golf! Nice restaurant on site. Theres a shuttle to take you from place to place that is free! Nice game room for the kids. A perfect 10!! Go... try it! you will not be sorry. =]
Great place to stay, but try to get the 3rd flloor suites as you can hear people walking if overhead. Also, be prepared for an execptionally early checkout 10AM. Awesome suite with fireplace, and nicely kept.
Great setup - tons of space, excellent facilities, great having the golf practice facility right there too. Could definitely use a shuttle to get back and forth from downtown AC.
I stay with the Marriott every year for Thanksgiving to see my family. This will be the last time I stay there. Front desk was very rude at check in didnt even ask if I needed anything for the room. Room was dirty. Found trash in the couch. Had to call the front desk 3 times about noise and no one came. Went to the main office only to fine the night security playing games in the arcade and front desk sitting in the main living room looking at tv. Gets better. I asked to talk to the mgr. Spoke to wellington who told me I have to be mistaken his LP
Very very clean & comfortable! I will go back and send my best friend anytime. But breakfast was very simple!
The rooms were very clean; Breakfast was very good we had waffles, omelette and muffins the room was a big size and had a nice sized bathroom It was a bit pricy as we booked on the day of a big show in Atlantic CIty..
everything went very well none
Budget motel close to AC. Clean but basic.
Our stay was fine. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and wireless internet was available at no charge. However, the staff was "English-Challenged" where it was difficult at check-in time. Also, the towels & washcloths were "Spartan", not absorbent nor soft. Soap consisted of two small bars, one bar was barely able to accomodate to showers. No, it met aour requirements for sleep and reasonable comfort at a good price and value.
Friendly staff, extremely reasonable, new comforters, sheets, flat screen tv and internet access, small refrigerator, microwave, quiet (on the weekdays). A good value. I made the suggestion to have conditioner in the room, they only provided shampoo
everything was very good. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were several different pillow types to choose from. hostess was very polite, location was perfect for my trip. I will not hesitate to stay here again when I'm in the area. I have paid 4X more and gotten less at other area hotels, 2X more for some campsites. Tremendous value. I only have two suggestions to improve what as a very good stay. 1 - I stayed in room 106 and the door did not seal tight when closed. 2 - I like thicker towels and bath linens.
very disappointed with staff cane to room at 8:30a did not knock and did not appologize when went to desk to complain did not care, door to room was very difficult to open and close. would not say there again.
Close proximity to Atlantic City. Cheap ratty bedspread. No comforter on bed! Bed felt a little soft.
Good beds and good TV, mini fridge and microwave. Poor internet (bandwidth limited and unreliable maid service... hidden charge of $5 per night for "booking.com" reservation.
Room was awesome with flat screen tv, coffee machine, microwave and beds were very comfortable. super clean. friendly staff and Atlantic city is only 10 minutes away from this hotel...I Recommend this hotel for Great price rather than staying in the casino and spending over 300 dollars...Great Hotel.
Great value! Stayed there for two nights and it was worth every penny. Location is perfect and staff was very friendly! Would definitely stay here again!
We asked two times at night to get additional towels but nobody paied attention to us. Not recommended at all.
the staff were very nice and attentive. We didnt have heat in my room and they switched it to another. The only thing the room was smoked filled for a non smoking room. Usually only 1 elevator worked and there was a wait but if we needed anything for the room, the staff would bring it over right away.
Continental Breakfast was good. It's not for allergic people, a lot of tenants with pets.
Good place to stay with out breaking the bank I could hear the people next door
Friendly staff Tired facility. Slow sink drain, slow toilet flush, disconnected alarm clock with no available outlet, mediocre breakfast, lousy pillows, sagging mattress. It was good for the price we got, $55 per night, but otherwise steer clear.
I loved it me and my bestie would go back again. Nothing.
Staff was helpful. And the hotel was close enough to the boardwalk, so very convenient. A plus, free wifi, versus a larger hotel that charged a fee for internet. The shower did not have a liner. But the overall the room was clean.
Room seemed clean... The commute was very convenient to the city While sleeping when to roll over and spotted a bug on thepillow case!!!! Nd I was drunk soy mouth was open LOL! Needless to say prolly won't return there
AREA, STAFF NO MORE HOT BREAKFAST
This hotel was poor at best. You can hear everything going on in the other rooms and in the hallway and all the other guests do not care if they are loud or if you have to get up early for what you are in NJ to do. This location is super close to Atlantic City so if that is what you are in the area for and you don't care about anything else in a hotel then book this hotel. If you actually want to sleep at some point in the night or you are not here to go to Atlantic City, find another hotel.
The breakfast was terrible and the wifi sucked
The room and Continental breakfast Elevators not working properly
Nothing Room smelled. Paint peeling. Sink broken. Big bugs on bathroom. Greasy spill in bathroom. Bed sagged. Fridge very noisy.
The price. The smell.
They do not have golf chanel
Good breakfast Lampshades falling off lamps, pluged in things fall out of loose electrical outlets, ratty carpets, horrifically small and uncomfortable beds, freeze or sweat only AC units, everything else old and disgusting.
They improved the continental breakfast from the last time I was there. But the staff is still very very rude and unaccommodating. They have absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever. It surprises me that they are allowed to use the Good name of the Days Inn" because they are a far cry from any other that I've stayed at. The staff is NEVER friendly, nor smiles, and are very Unaccommodating when you ask for something. There's an older gentleman that works at the continental breakfast that has such a rude personality and no customer service skills that should be FIRED! I asked for a very simple request at breakfast and he refused to do it for me, rudely sent me to the manager at the front desk. I go and the Mgr. Of course is very quick to defend the employee, it wasn't until I told him about customer service skills and as to why he has such poor reviews, that he offered to help me.at that point, I told him to forget it, I'm the customer, I'm not the one who should be telling you how to run a successful business! The rooms are also not the cleanest or updated whatsoever. They're also always missing the flat sheet for the bed, what hotel expects their guests to put the blanket directly on their bodies? That's disgusting! Too many things to name, I gave it a second chance after being there in the spring but this will definitely be my last! I will tell all my friends that visit AC to Never go there.
Nothing. You have to drive past place make u turn to reach or travel way past it in opposite direction to avoid u turn Carpet was filthy. Walls had visible remnants of bugs smashed on it. Bathroom door knob broken to point afraid to close securely for fear of getting stuck in there. Dirty diapers were on the walkway. Room was on backside of building where exposed trash bins were for the hotel trash (was not fenced in). Would not stay there again nor recommend it to anyone. Disgusting. Is on the class of a welfare hotel where they put displaced folks in emergencies. Price was too high for that type of motel.
Pool and family atmosphere Leaks in ceiling above vanity mirror. Musty smell throughout one room and another room reeked of smoke.
Great staff very helpful Shower head was too liw
Close to ac Dirty coffee maker with used coffee bags inside. Disgusting!!!
I used Google map to get here. I got lost because it shows you the wrong place. It is in Route 30. About 10+ miles from Atlantic City broad walk. The receptionist wasn't friendly. He didnt had any customer service at all. When i entered all he said was whats your name? I paid decent amount for the place for to queen bedroom non smoking. I have paid $50 and staid in comfort Inn and had excel in service. But not here though. There were cracks in ceiling and the door of the restroom was broken. The phone was really dirty and plus when I pressed to call front desk it always had a busy tone. I called from my cellphone and the call went right through. The breakfast lounge is really small with limited seatings. The reception while I checked out was good she asked me about may stay and stuffs like that that's why I'm giving it 3 star. But it's a cheap place to stay during peak season. I'd pay few extra $$ and would stay somewhere near the broadwalk.
Bathrooms were a good size and clean. Continental breakfast was good. The amenities are not worth the money.
Location was convenient The place needs better improvement leaky showers water coming out of ceilings it needs better staff in housekeeping. Won't be staying there again.
I liked the king size bed. I didn't like the breakfast, the un describeable odor of the room lol, and the cheap tv and remote nor the pool.
I like that the room included a microwave and refrigerator that was very convenient. The heater worked and housekeeping didn't disturb. The room didn't have a jacuzzi and there weren't any available, the bathroom wasnt the cleanest the shower curtain was a bit gross, the bed wasn't comfortable and the sheets had stains, and the walls are paper thin u can hear people next door.
The staff was very attentive and had no problems helping when needed.went above and beyond to help me get my itinerary. The maids didn't come to my room until the forth day I was there had to get my own towels and take my own trash
Rooms were clean and nice.
no maid service with out extra charge you were expected to bring dirty towels and linens to the office if you wanted clean ones
Location The restroom and the cups wasn't wrapped in plastic
Relax Inn was clean, but in need of updating. The refrigerator in the room did not work. The room was very clean.
Was away from road. Did not hear traffic. Bed comfortable. Never came to clean room. No cups in room. Not worth price they charged for stay. Hair in sink.
Needed a quiet over night stay before going to Atlantic City. This place fit the bill. Clean, a little bit further from AC than some others, and comfortable. Room was showing its age. Some peeling wallpaper.
clean rooms, good value
Nothing my wife got sick because she wouldn't allow herself to sleep under the nasty blankets and sheets Nothing??
Location was perfect for my needs. Very close to shopping and restaurants and the beach. Walls were a little thin, but after everyone quieted down, I slept just fine.
The manager at the front desk was wonderfully pleasant and kind. Check in was early enough at 2 pm & check out at 11 am. Room was decently clean, especially compared to others in the area. Was not far out from Atlantic City! Good value if you only need a place to crash for the night. Very quiet. It was not near restaurants/anything within walking distance from the Inn, the rest of the hotels in the area are about 1-2 miles down the road towards AC.
Only location Cleanliness
Don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for, but it was definitely not a bad experience considering. Very good price. Not clean enough for the Queen, but clean enough for me. Ten minutes from Atlantic City. Good neighborhood. Comfortable bedding. Quick drive to fast food, gas, restaurants, convenience and retail stores. For anyone who does not know what a "jug handle" is, it is a road element where one makes an exit from the main road on the right that loops back perpendicular to the road to form an intersection with the main road. New Jersey is PLAGUED with them and this area was no different. It is very annoying when you are used to making a left turn or a U-turn from the left lane. Not a problem with the hotel, but location location location. Television had a very odd set up. You had to use both a television remote, and cable box remote to try to watch tv. It's so bad that they even have a laminated card in every room instructing people on how to use it. Owners must live on sight, because I think my room was above them, and I could smell their delicious cooking. How DARE you make my mouth water! The only bad things that I can say about my stay were minor inconveniences at best, but I like to nitpick.
rude attendant, filthy room bracken sink broken toilet and smelly room general room repair required
Was very quiet The room smells a cigarette
9 miles from Atlantic City-away from the traffic. Many places nearby to eat. Lobby door was always locked. No fitted sheets on beds. Flat sheets came off at night, leaving you sleeping on a plain mattress. Not very clean-hadn't been dusted or vacumned in awhile. Spilled drinks in mini fridge. Remote didn't work.
Clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Everything in the room worked without any issues. No complaints. Would be happy to stay there again
location is good bed ok bad smell coming in ( dog ?? ) pillows to soft and not enough toilet not well seated staff ................................. must own or be fired
Nothing There were bugs crawling all over the filthy beds. After 20 minutes in the room, we noticed this and left. Guy at the desk argued with us over it and was extremely rude. Trying to get a refund for this. Don't stay here
Close Proximity to AC and OC beaches. Price. Lots of restaurants around. Rooms was big. Nice TV. Easy access from main roads. Room had ants. Bed was uncomfortable and hard. Towels were tiny and not fluffy. Paint was peeling off wall. No microwave. Not all lights worked. Shower pressure was terrible. Front desk staff was unorganized. Knob to AC was broken.
Umm, it wasn't too far from the casino's? Yes, It was a question. Overall poor hotel. Not some place we would have stayed had there been other available options.
We stayed here because we wanted to spend the weekend at Atlantic City but all of the places directly in AC were a bit too pricy. This place worked out well. Everything was pretty clean. The room was big. We had everything we needed. There were a few of those really tiny ants in the sink but honestly it's not a big deal.
Was cheap That it said breakfeast included there was just coffe and muffin and the room was not that clean
Nothing Mattress, blanket disgusting dirty and noisey left after one hour.
It was cheap, closer to the city and wawa It wasn't clean, bed had some nasty things on it so we had to change the room. The other room was ok, it had lamps but no socket,so we had to move the lamp to start it.
The beds we're big and nice an comfy. The attitude the guy in the office had towards charging our phones since we stayed there but he kicked us out!!!! Nasty service but nice place.
It was OK in a very plain and functional way in terms of all things visably clean and operating. I will stay there again when saving the most money is parimount. It was an overall rundown appearance BUT with more cable than most even my home. AC was great. 1. The SMELL of the lobby - that moldy/funky/disinfectant/cleaner smell. YUK! 2. The large seemingly growing black stain (mold?) right behind the main desk. 3. The mattress was like sinking mashed potatoes - you sank close to the ground (sitting on the edge drove my knees nearly to my chin) BUT it was NOT hard on the back or uncomfortable to sleep on! This is an economy ONJLY place for men travelors... hot shower, TV and do-able bed.
Cost effective , clean , close toAC continental breakfast was lacking no real milk or creamer for the coffee pastries that were about the size of a half dollar that was it
The price Amenities were poor. Power outlets broken, smoke alarm hanging off the ceiling.
It was nice and quite and staffe was nice. Need more pillows and door was hard to close.
the prrice arrived at 2:30 PM and wasn't permitted in the room until 3PM, even though the room was ready. (really sucked) we had a family of 7 next door to us(rm 115 to be exact) that was made for 4 people. Had 3 guys right above us that were blaring music and screwing 1 girl. that sounded wonderful.
The room was so bad they moved us to another property. The room was so bad they moved us to another property
The hot water didn't get real hot
The staff does not even speak a good english. I will never recommended that hotel.
Thank you for a nice staff and good performance
Our room was a little dirty. We ordered a roll away bed and received no pillows or blankets for the bed.
Comfortable bed, mostly clean Did not have the amenities promised, coffeemaker dirty
Owner was very nice Place smelled awful, chairs in room were stained/smelly, we checked in which took 10 minutes went to room there was food already in the fridge from previous residents, the smell of spices or incense caused me to have an asthma attack we left after 10 minutes owner asked if all was ok on our way out we said yes rather than hurt his feelings - You get what you pay for and we didn't ask for refund instead moved to a $271 per night clean oceanfront resort. Photo of room was accurate 10 years ago - now looks like a method lab crime scene from Law and Order or Criminal Minds8
First it's extremely far from Atlantic city at least a 30 min ride if u don't drive it's a 45 dollar can from a.c. next once you get there it's a bad cheap.motel the room is ok but it looks old and dirty .what mAkes my trip.horrible is they provided some amenities one was a razor I used this razor and the second I tried to shaved it ripped skin off I.was bleeding for over an hour and the gm could have cared less told me he did not make the razor and it wasn't his problem.to call where he orders the product from.and make a complaint .never have I been treated this poorly in any establishment.I am very unhappy and would not recommend anyone to waste there money here
I liked nothing. I did not like getting sick because of all the mold growing. I did not like the toilette plungers in the hallway. I did not like anything. Do not stay here no matter how broke you are. Sleep in your car.
Nothing Had no room service the whole week. The break fast cerebral was stale. Ran by foreigners couldn't understand. Had a nonsmoking room that smelled like pure cigarettes. The towels and sheets had stains on them. Out dated TV and furniture. The pillows smelled terrible. Only got two towels a day for 3 guests. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Stay away!
only good thing about this place was the price...I paid $35 total w/ tax and felt it was still a little high for what I received. shower had good pressure tv worked nasty rooms looks ok/decent from outside but the rooms I got were pretty bad...room 225 was disgusting, room 223 was slightly better but not a place I will go back to. customer service was decent after I complained, but, there is only so much they can do when their motel is turning to s$*%. New carpeting, new matresses, wiping down the walls/new paint, and new midew free AC units should drastically improve the rooms.
Good staff. Generally clean rooms. Some dust accumulation on lamps no longer in use in room.
The location being relatively close to Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City made attending the A10 Basketball tournament easily accessable. We booked a room with a king size bed but when we arrived we were told, rather curtly, that we were in a double and that we would only have maid service once during our four day stay. The young lady seemed unconcerned in telling us this. They did replace the towells daily if we put the used towells outside our door. The facility, furniture and interior are old and not well kept. Some electrical outlets did not work, especially the one in the sink area where the hair dryer was that didn't work either. Paint was bad, wallpaper coming off, baseboards loose and black mold behind the loose baseboards in the bathroom. Bathtub had no stopper so taking a bath wasn't possible. Furniture was a shambles. Falling apart, drawers broken, etc.
Location was the only redeeming factor. The hotel was not three stars. Would rate 1.5 max. Poor value for price paid. Could hear conversation in adjacent rooms.
The person in charge of the hotel was really pleasant and helpful for everything. The room was smelling really bad (cigarette). The bed cover was really old with some burn on it. The light in the room was not working. The place need really to be take care of it. I will never fo there anymore and I won't recommend this place to anyone.
The only positive thing was that it was right off the express way & checking out meant dropping your key in a mailbox so u could get out of the dump asap. Basically everything... Manager didn't assign us a non smoking room, even though booked 4 months in advance. Then argued with us that we didn't book it in time. When we got to see the second room the sink didn't work, the wallpaper was coming off (due to the fungus growing behind it), the rug+chairs+sheets had stains in them, there was a thick layer of dust on the cupboard. Further more the bed had life in it besides us, lay awake all night due to itching. Emailed the manager about the sink so it wouldn't get charged on our credit card and she even started a bit of an arguement.
I liked the comfortable bed the cleanliness of the room and the jacuzzi in my room
The rooms were surprisingly larger than expected. Very few amenities if any, but the owners were very friendly. If they had a better billing process than a calculator I would have felt better about my bill. There weren't many unexpected surprises during my stay, but the one disappointing item was the bill. My bill was over a hundred dollars more than I anticipated. The taxation and surcharges could not be justified, so I believed that we were paying more in taxes and surcharges then warranted due to lack of proof. They do not give recei'pts like larger hotels, so you don't know what you are paying for exactly.
its not far from other places in atlantic city where the attractions are. staff cannot be trusted.
hotel was average, the bed was very comfortable, a bit expensive for what the hotel offered, but the owners were very nice and their hospitality made up for what the hotel may have lacked.
Freindly, helpful owners. Clean, modern room and fixtures. Recycling. Excellent TV and AC. 20% discount at near-by Dennys. A real bargain!
The staff were wonderful. I actually stayed another night at the same rate to see more of atlantic city. There is a cheap city bus to take you to the boardwalk on every hour. It was an excellent, budget friendly, stay.
the staff was great , very willing to help only problem was that the room had a slight odor when we first got there , which aired out pretty quickly
it was a very nice little motel. very friendly staff, very clean. easy to find.
quite and clean
It was inexpensive and reasonably comfortable. Shabby around the edges. Bathroom had a faint urine smell, Toilet seat was loose, TV was set to the wrong picture shape, curtains had a cord across them to keep them out of the airflow of the A/C, which was nosier than I liked, some lights did not work, phone appeared dirty, there was a wasp in the room, refrigerator all iced up... I could go on.
I had a room with jazzcuzi which is amazing. Cleaning lady came early for the room above me and the noise woke me up. Also, I heard foodsteps throughout the night from the room above me
well kept and modern
The friendly staff
The price was right and the location wasn't too far from AC when we intended to spend our evening The staff were friendly but when we checked into our room all you could smell was like, old urine. So we went back to the desk where they checked us into a new room but it just didn't seem very clean. And then in the morning the cleaning lady tried coming into our room way before our checkout time. Not very happy with our stay there :(
read my whole review at tripadvisor.com
Staff very friendly and helpful! Free internet. Too expensive for a hotel/motel of this category. Breakfast very poor: just prepackaged muffins, cereal. No seating area where you can eat breakfast.
Peaceful Breakfast had too many sugary items. Should think about diabetics.
Liked the jacuzzi Lighting in room
rate & location mold on showerhead couple next door Friday night[thin walls]
the internet worked great, the price is excellent. the location is excellent. many choices for food nearby and other shopping. near highway, atlantic city.
Use only for sleeping overnight. 1. Rooms were too cozy 2. No toilet papers 3. No coffee no water.
