With a stay at Belum Rainforest Resort in Temenggor, you'll be on a lake, just a 1-minute walk from Belum Jetty and 8 minutes by foot from Landmark Bridge. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: good sized rooms. Restaurant food was not bad with good variety.
Cons: Guides on the night walk need to be better trained to seek out interesting critters and identify them, and also to give backgrounds to the critters. Otherwise, it just becomes a walk in the dark.
Pros: The activities and experience provided by the resort.
Pros: Peaceful and serene. Resort within a jungle. Plenty of flora and fauna and large grounds for a casual stroll. Nice rooftop deck with plenty of chairs to enjoy the view of Lake Temenggor - and the sunset (also watching the vehicles passing over the bridge). Rooms were clean and nicely laid out. Bed was firm, but not uncomfortable.
Cons: Limited view out the window (the odd numbered Azlanni rooms face the main road). Alternative entry into the Resort was unguarded. The drop beside the SiDai Restaurant is littered with rubbish including non-environmentally friendly styrofoam containers. Limited kayaking time (1 hour - from 10am or 4pm).
Pros: Roominess of the room. Setting of the hotel by the lake. Infinity pool was nice. Nice shower. Lots of luggage space.
Cons: Bed was really firm, too firm. TV was tiny for the size of the room and distance from the bed. Restaurant options a bit limited.
Pros: Poor breakfast
Cons: Breakfast - suck
Pros: Peaceful environment. Staff very friendly and really help us a lot.
Cons: I got a broken door bell room. But nevermind. It doesnt bother us at all.
Pros: Onlt the location of the hotel was positive.
Cons: The incredible dsaster was the food both if the restaurant and room service. We hadour first dinner in the restaurant] by the lake..We had to wait 25 minutes for it to arrive and we had lamb chops....or wjat was supposed to be lamb chops..The portions were tint --- only fit for a chile and not and adult, one could hardly see the cold vegetables and as for the lamb mine was 50% fat and the rest cold and almost unebible.. So baclk int he room we ordeded some food as they refused to let us have that in teh restaurant and I oredred chickin satay...The satay was certainly not a sartay...and the chocken was hard and cold..All of this for the 2 meals for each person ( 4 meals in all) cost us the amount of 160RM , really expensive amd I certainly would never eat there again or in fact go there again as it is far from anywhere else to eat....
Pros: Good location close to nature.
Cons: The mattress was very hard and most food on the menu wasn't available at the restaurant. Food served was below average.
Pros: The ambient. Indeed a place to relax.
Cons: The bed was not that comfortable.
Pros: It has a wonderful view nland home feel environment
Cons: The pillow was too soft but the bed was awesome

All guest rooms come with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a kettle, a shower and a wardrobe. With a shared bathroom, rooms at the guest house also have a mountain view. All rooms will provide guests with a stovetop.
Cons: Should have an invoice for customer when check out.
Pros: Location was not correct. keys given by housekeeper who did not speak english ore german. It was very hard to find the correct location. Biut with local ppl helping we finally managed to find it. Bathrooms need more cleaning. No wifi.
Cons: Cleaning of the bathrooms, location on website did not match the real location.
Cons: toilet no clean up, still hv many hair, and still hv rubbish in the bathroom
Pros: value for money, nice house. area quite close to town,
Cons: just need to climb a hill a bit
Pros: Very clean house and peaceful neighborhood. There are a supermarket and also 7-Eleven near-by, very convenient if need to buy something. Having a small park just in front of the house, my nephew are enjoyed the facility before dinner. Just 3km to GERIK Town, can easily get nice food there. Willing to stay again next time.
Cons: - Weak Data internet connection (Only 3G Available) at the area, hope can provide WIFI internet in future. - No soap or shampoo prepared in the Bathroom. - No Air-con at Living Room, but it's Acceptable since the weather was good and cool.
Cons: water pressure too slow
Cons: New house
Pros: The panoramic! The environments were calm and fresh.
Cons: Have to put more effort on cleanliness especially in bathrooms and kitchen.
Pros: Excellent location for activities in the Royal Bellum National Park just 30 minutes up the road
Offering a sun terrace and water sports facilities, Belum Eco Resort is situated in Gerik. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant. A balcony is featured in the rooms. All rooms come with a private bathroom. There is a shared lounge at the property. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including fishing and canoeing.
Pros: This is a holiday camp on small island in the temeggor lake, 30 min boat ride from the nearest place! The accomodation is basic, with hard beds in individual chalets, but each has toilet and warm shower. The location is amazing, but activities on the island itself are limited so you have to book excursions as well into the surroundings (at an extra cost, a day trip into Belum park, potentially trip to see other parts of the lake, potentially trek into the forest). Each chalet has a terrace. You can swim in the lake and kayaking is nice, so peaceful. Good place for someone who wants basic accommodation, Belum is not touristy. Steve, the owner, is very informative. We chose this based on the tripadvisor reviews which on balance we feel are too positive. We stayed 5d4n, less would be better.
Cons: The beds are not comfortable, there is inadequate insect screening in the rooms. The whole place is quite run down, with building materials around. There are 3 nice dogs and a cat, but they come around to beg for food at mealtimes and are not very clean. In the evenings the electricity is from a diesel generator which is quite noisy, and ruins the peaceful atmosphere in the terrace, although during our stay they switched it off at midnight. The english of the staff is very poor, although most were nice this made the trips uninformative as they couldn't communicate any useful information. The guide for Belum park gave us almost zero information. At the local village we were encouraged to take sweets to give the local children which is generally not a good practice. Would be nice to, for example go to a hide in the night time to see if we could spot anything, as we didn't see any wildlife for the trip. Overall the price was comparable to some very good standard hotels in the rest of Malaysia, so probably too much.
