Pros: The room could not have been cleaner. Everything was well maintained. There was a kitchen area in our room.
Cons: The bathrooms functioned great but the fixtures were very dated - vibrant yellow. It was a bit like living in a museum for a night. My son had never seen a bathroom shower with two knobs (hot and cold) and he couldn't set the temperature.

Pros: I like the location and that it is a retro hotel with a pink tub and toilet and a great restaurant across the street... and the price is reasonable for what they offer ... I have been staying there for forty years, off and on and very little has changed.

Cons: There is no longer an outdoor pool as advertised on all the sites! I arrived on a very hot day with two grand children who I had been telling for seven hours in the car that when they got there, we would have a swim... Also mold in the bathroom corners.

My honest opinion of the room is that it is decent for the price. It is close to downtown Halifax and surrounding areas. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They have an inground pool that unfortunately didn't get to use because I didn't have time. Its not a 5-star hotel, but its a good motel. The room was clean and exactly what was advertised. No complaints for me except that the room didn't seem to have air conditioning.

Cons: The room I was in didn't have air conditioning. I didn't really need it, as it was only 75 degrees outside, but if it were really hot, that would be a problem.
