Half the lights and electrical outlets did not work, round seat on oblong toilet, towels were very thin, very dirty. No hangers in the closet. Had to ask for a "do not disturb" sign. Ice machine did not work. We bid on a 2-star hotel, this was definitely not a 2-star rating, would have to struggle to be a 1-star. This was sold as a Baymont Inn and Suites, but Motel 6 had just bought it out, probably because it was too run down to be considered Baymont. Not sure how the rooms would have ever been considered 'suites'.
Luggage, laptop and kids clothing was danaged by roof leakage. Rowdy occupants and risky business going on. Dirty sheets and broken tv. Had to change rooms 3 times. Was not clean enough for my two month old and manager has yet to call back about damages made on their behalf. Luggage, laptop and kids clothing was danaged by roof leakage. N/A There were dark stains all over the carpet, my non-smoking room smelled vividly of cigarette smoke, and there were bed bugs on both beds. I have never stayed at a worse hotel in my life, even when I lived in foreign countries. I will never stay here again
It was clean but thats about all, very run down . The beds were lumpy and cery uncomfortable. The air dudnt work half the time.people were in the pool all hours of the night. Looked like there were hookersstaying there. The staff was rude, the microwave burnt all my popcorn, the tub dripped constantly, the pillows need to be replaced.
Good location and good price. Unclean and very run-down. We stayed one night and did not stay the second night we had planned. We found another hotel.
Nothing at all. I'm a 23 year old male and don't care about much, thought it was good for the money...boy was I wrong. We rented two rooms for the Patriots Cowboys game and all 4 beds had bed bugs. There was a condom in the pool gunshots at night and I don't think that one of the staff spoke English. I would never stay here again!!
Just an old and run down hotel. Fortunately the cost for the room was cheap. Bad coffee, questionable hairs on bathroom, and carpet old and dirty. TV didn't work.
Nothing This place was aweful !!!!
AC worked Everything else
not much that I did not get what I asked for I payed for room with a king bed and got one with a double and did not want smoking and was given a room for smoking
The lobby staff was friendly and the lobby was kept nice. Local police patrolled often, especially at night. Streetwalkers, crackheads, and meth monkeys seemed to like this place. Half the lights in our rooms didn't work, coffee makers were missing parts, TV was snowy, one mirror broken in half, 3 in bathroom had nail polish graffitti, and when we checked in, there was some woman's clothing under our sink counter...........everything from the waist to (and including) the socks. Constant traffic at night, usually accompanied by LOUD rap music and yelling, whistles, etc. IF STAYING MORE THAN ONE NIGHT, YOU MUST HAVE YOUR KEY CARD RENEWED EVERY DAY!!!!!! They don't tell you this when you check in.......
Didn't like anything about the motel it had mold all over the bathroom it smelled really bad I check out and went to another motel It was horrible!!!!
near airport, quickly attendance
there were bugs in the bed sheet all around it.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. Felt safe using the hotel's extended parking.
The bed, the TV worked great and the room was clean. The staff was really nice, and the shuttle showed up quickly and got us back in plenty of time the next morning. The tub didn't have a plug to take a bath. I should have had room service for dinner, or eaten at the airport. I ordered from an Italian restaurant and when they delivered the food it was awful. Both of us were disappointed.
Basic airport style hotel...old fixtures in room but clean!
Location No clock in room. Furniture raggedy
Convenient Coffee pot didn't work.
Really a good value for a hotel near DFW. Flying out next AM early - needed room with shuttle. Was perfect. Shuttle made a LOT of stops. Leave real early.
Convenient and affordable.
I was able to obtain a room easily when my flight was canceled. I was impressed with with how clean the entire complex was. I was impressed with the extras such as WIFI, a ref, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker, free breakfast etc. that was included for a great price.
Toilet was installed improperly, so you had to sit on it almost sideways; water backed up into the tub when you took a shower
Nothing Yes when I first got there the room and bed was filthy. Then we had bugs and they were supposed to switch me rooms but was never switched
Very good conditions for a very reasonable price. And a free shuttle to and from the airport.
Desk lady was very nice and helpful My room was absolutely filthy. The nastiest place I've ever slept.
Modern minimalist design in perfectly sized rooms. The bed was too firm for my tastes. Lots of ambient noise from the hallway throughout the night.
Cleanliness of the room and inexpensive Strong ammonia-like odor in the room.
Front desk staff cant speak english
The pictures on the website made the place seem great for the price. However, once there was a totally different situation. The sink became clogged...we asked for assistance on three different occasions. We watched as they called maintence and said, "no one needs to be present for the sink to be fixed". We came back to the room and the sink was still clogged. The entire stay the sink was clogged in the bathroom. We asked for extra towels and blankets. The took the room number and have one towel per person. This was not a luxury stay to begin with but atleast be presented as such. The stay seemed to be as if I were in a motel for $29.99 per night. There was a lingering odor in the room.
It is very close to the DFW airport and also economical. It is only good for sleeping. If you don't have a car, nothing is within a distance.
I normally stay at this chain on my trips from Los Cabos to Canada and find them really good. Motel 6 at DFW is of a grade higher than my normal stops and can't be beaten for the price. Beware tho....there is not a restaurant within walking distance but there are some good "take=aways" you can phone for.
The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The stuff was helpful and very friendly.
Waited over an hour for the airport shuttle. Called 4 items but they just kept saying "ok I'll call the guy". Ended up canceling my reservation and booking at the holiday inn. Their shuttle actually showed up. Cheap but not worth it.
no walk in closets
Second room was clean and comfortable. Reception clerk very rude. checked us into an occupied room. We saw the man who was in that room at the desk complaining about broken TV and water faucet as we arrived. When we returned to the desk, my wife said you put us in a used room he started raising his voice said I can give you your money back and you can leave.. Shuttle is not their own shared with 6 hotels same area when we called they said 20 min took over an hour to arrive at our terminal. had so many people packed in it felt unsafe. TV remote basically inoperative in our room.
Excellent location very close to DFW Airport There were small cockroaches in the room and toilet !
If youre looking for a place to spend a few nights while youre travellingn into dallas or other areas, it gets the job done. It even has a pool. Lots of fas foods around to grab a quick breakfast or late dinner. Cigarette smell in the room when we got there. Besides fast foods there is nothing to do around it.
Love the laminate flooring, hate hotel carpet. Outside old inside clean and newer. Enjoyable stay.
Convient location. Construction around Motel 6 is a damper. Shower water was barely warm. Tank top on the toilet didn't fit.
Still smelled smoke in a non-smoking room
This is the perfect location for getting up early to catch a flight out of DFW. It was a decent room. And clean enough to be comfortable. It could have been cleaned better, but it was not disgusting
Sad at best did not get our reservation right from khaki and had to pay double and higher prices since then did not have both our rooms and the clerk would not look at my reservation summary confirmation on my phone he just did not care. Bus driver rude at best to Everything
The quitness The price for what I got
It was clean. The room seemed to have been newly refurbished with paint and flooring. Had a bed, four walls and a roof. Neighbors seemed friendly, as I came in, some lady offered me sex. I think I could have scored some kind of drugs from the guys playing dice in the hallway. After I checked in, I looked out my window and saw two more prostitutes in the parking lot giving dudes head in their cars. There was no breakfast. After a crack-fueled night of blow jobs and greek, I would have liked a muffin.
Prices staff Bugs hallway smells of smoke
Nice buffet breakfast. Nice Beds. The stuff. My checkout was at 12pm and they called to my room 3 times from 11.50 to 12.00 to make sure I was leaving the room. The courtesy shuttle girl - Driving fast and using her cell phone talking to her husband about she getting drunk the night before. She also brought her little son.
Awesome value, Starbucks within walking distance (virtually adjoined parking lots) quick Check in, helpful staff, clean rooms. Would defiantly book again. N/A, no complaints.
All was well and staff nice. No.
The breajfast was delicious. Had a waffle. The room was clean and comfortable. Had to fix the commode twice. The chain came off in the tank. Water kept running Other than that it was very pleasant. Would stay again.
