Lovely location in an old building with character, in a charming 'village perche'. Very efficient staff who found us a room even though our internet booking had been lost. Good breakfast None with the hotel. Our Internet booking appeard to have not got through but this was not a problem as their was a room available.
Very clean, stylish hotel - a little on the minimalistic side. Room rather hot.
The hotel decor was tasteful, minimalist and very definitely for those that are looking for peace and tranquility. The room was excellent, the bed comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. Breakfast was simple but all very fresh.
Ligging in het oude dorp Mirmande, dat is geklassificeerd als een van de mooiste dorpen in Frankrijk. Prima restaurant naast het hotel.
Very kind and helpfull staff - special thanks for help in reservation of tables in very nice restaurants. Nice, quiet, clean and warm rooms in a charming old village. No wardrobe in the room. This was ok for two nights but could be inconvenient if you stayed longer.
rustic and rural setting. Back to basics. Received a friendly reception and make very welcome. No bar / eating facility. Used the restaurant nearby
Truly amazing view and apricots on the terrace for breakfast. This is a very special village. Do not stay on Bastille Day! Far from peaceful.
Lovely idiosyncratic hotel in a lovely village. -
Wonderful ambience, superb food, beautiful locaton
The location of the hotel is excellent, a pretty village in lovely French countryside. The hotel is very attractive from the outside and has a traditional French feel inside. We ate in the hotel, which is also a restaurantl, the food was good, my husband said it was the best beef fillet he had tasted, but it was expensive. The double room we had was very small. However, it was only for one night so that was not too much of a problem but the reason I am writing this review is that the smell of the drains in the hotel room was absolutely disgusting. It was so strong that even with the bathroom door kept closed the smell kept me awake during the night. It ws really awful and the hotel should not be letting rooms that have such a drainage problem. Even though the location of the hotel was lovely I would not stay there again for this reason.
Very elegant, set in a delicious small village inside the country. The staff is professional.
The staff was very kind and efficient. The food was excellent. The medieval village was fantastic to visit.
A very attractive location and a characterful hotel in terms of building and the provision as a whole. The food was good quality although this was reflected in the prices.
Full of character, great views, a place to visit once. The welcome and response from the front of house staff was barely polite, brusque and anything but encouraging. There was not even a hint of a smile. Both gentlemen were very much from the John Cleese school of hoteliers.
location limited parking
Breakfast was OK. We were not charged for booking out early. Hotel was shut until 3pm when we arrived despite the confirmation stating we could check in at 1pm. No apology offered.Room was very small and bathroom was so small you could barely stand up. Bed uncomfortable, TV not working on many channels, restaurant menu sounded nice but was badly delivered. We checked out a day early.
Quite hard to find especially in the dark website said it was only 5 mins from motorway but it was much further than that Very pretty on arrival restaurant was busy which is always a good sign When we arrived we were told our room had been upgraded but what they did not tell us was a lampost outside our bedroom window was on all night and we had muslin for curtains pretty but useless.
Very peaceful and lovely views - wonderful to have a room that is not a box on top of a box! Would go again.
Very comfortable, nice ambience, very quiet and felt welcome. The food was excellent.
Charming village location excellent friendly staff Bathroom could have been a little better
Good atmosphere. Lovely views. Charming village.
On our way to the cote d'azur is was a marvelous location to relax .It is a very quiet village and very romantic. The dinner in the garden was very cosy. The view from the room was really marvelous. .
Beautiful location but still convenient for autoroute Restaurant not open on Monday evenings !!
Perfect ! hôtel with innovative décoration , quiet with nice garden pool
Private parking, large appartment with separate bedroom.Every appartment has individual design, fully equipped kitchen. Nothing , but our appartment wasn't clean enough.
great large space, easy access, lots of electrical outlets, very nice hotel, thanks they asked if we wanted breakfast and didn't say there was a charge and we said sure, until it showed up on the bill, when it was too late. (And we were off to a conference so we didn't really need coffee or carbohydrates!) So just a reminder, always ask everywhere
Great and thoughtful design of each apartment. Ours even comes with a Bosch dishwasher. Wonderful and tranquil location for us after a whole day road trip. nothing
A great quirky place. Will definitely go again.
The hotel is verry speciel with nice rooms and nice suraundings
The room was fantastic, as were the staff. Incredible value for money. I would definately recommend this hotel. Nothing at all.
Decor was whimsical, with great attention given to making each room feel like a different country, right down to the shower tiles and mugs in the well-equipped kitchenettes. And the staff were attentive, generous, English-speaking, and knowledgable about the countryside. It is off the beaten path so took driving time to get to tourist spots like Avignon.
Food at arrival late in the evening
Not to be missed! Warm friendly greeting and eight wonderfully decorated large comfortable rooms (we stayed in 'Japan'). Situated in the calm of the country yet just minutes off the autoroute and at a great rate. Thank you Valsoyo for a memorable stay.
