Cons: Somewhat dated fixtures in bathroom; hotel inaccurately labels 'new wing' as 'new' when it's been almost 10 years since construction (circa 2006).
Concierge extremely helpful. they really wanted to be of service.
Pros: Good location. Great staff and cleanliness especially the concierge.
The Lotte Hotel Seoul is situated in the primarily metropolitan Seoul area within 1 km of the Kyung Bok Palace and Dong Dae Moon Gate Market. The hotel is strategically located 65 kilometers southwest of the Incheon Airport.

Cons: Meal costs were absurd. Otherwise wonderful. If you book on Kayak you don't get Starwood points.

Pros: The location was central to everything in Seoul. Perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. There was a direct entrance to the underground shopping center and subway.
Cons: while there were restaurants inside the hotel, they were too expensive for my taste, and with so many other options around the hotel to eat at, why would you eat at the hotel.
Pros: The hotel was gorgeous and the location was great. The staff at the hotel helped me with all of my needs and my stay was amazing.
Cons: The lighting was a bit tricky to figure out in rooms.
Pros: Very attentive staff. Unique rooms.
Cons: Very expensive food for the quality.

Pros: The staff was outstanding, very comfortable rooms in renovated suites. Excellent location
Cons: The breakfast buffet is overpriced and not good compared to similar hotels' offerings. But staff very friendly.
Pros: Location was great. About 3 to 8 minute walking distance to two subway stations (Anguk and Jongro-3). Although it was located in Insadong (one of the touristy neighborhoods in Seoul), it was quiet at night and very safe. Insadong is not "Gangnam style" touristy neighborhood but more of a cultural/historical neighborhood. A lot of great restaurants (casual to expensive) nearby (literally speaking, you walk out of the hotel and you'll start seeing many restaurants) and it seems like many of them are very popular (was on TV, etc.). We stayed at 2 room suite and it was very spacious (I would say about 1,100 sq. ft) and well maintained. Kitchen was somewhat equipped (e.g. cups, plates, coffee maker, pots and pans). We had washer/dryer in our unit and was able to do laundry couple of times while staying there. This place is not for a luxury or romantic getaway but more for family and friends on budget.
Cons: It seemed like they were preparing western style breakfast but not worth spending your money there. For example, instead of breakfast sausage, they served hotdog style sausage. The pastry they served were all store bought (not fresh item). It basically reminded me of continental breakfast from 1 or 2 star hotel in U.S. Everyone who worked there were nice and most of the staff had some knowledge of the area and had recommendation but no professional concierge service. No free internet service (I was surprised by this especially knowing how entire Korea is very well connected with free wi-fi, etc.).
Enjoy your visit to Insadong with a stay at Fraser Suites Insadong Seoul. The indoor pool is a great spot for a morning swim, and guests can get a workout in at the fitness center. Apartments at this upscale property feature conveniences like kitchens, along with living rooms and flat-screen TVs.
A great choice for a stay in Seoul, Hotel Shinshin features an airport shuttle. For a bite to eat, guests can check out DineHall, which serves fusion cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Nice touches like fireplaces, iPod docks, and rainfall showerheads are offered up in all rooms.
Take in the views from the rooftop terrace when you stay at Hotel Skypark Central Myeongdong. Guests will have free perks like WiFi and self parking. Rooms offer flat-screen TVs, refrigerators, and bathrobes.
Pros: Very convenient for going to lotte world. But that only really needs one day. Easy access to subway.
Cons: Lobby lounge is a joke $25 for a glass of wine, way over priced, even considering korean inflated wine prices.
Rooms don't feel 5-star, a bit small and could use a more thorough updating. Perhaps some plugs near the bed for cellphone charging.
This Seoul hotel is a half-mile (0.8 kilometers) from the Lotte World amusement park. A department store and the Jamsil subway station are adjacent. The Seoul Sports Complex is 1.8 miles (3 kilometers) away. Shopping at the Lotte Tower Lotte Mall is nearby.

La Seine, the hotel's buffet restaurant, serves a wide array of Asian and Western dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel offers complimentary wired and wireless Internet access in public areas and secretarial services.Free self parking is available while valet parking is available for a surcharge. Accessible parking is also available.

Three restaurants, café, and 24-hour convenience store are also on site. The hotel can provide business services, such as free WiFi, audio-visual equipment and multilingual staff. Free parking is available. A complimentary children's club is also available. There is also a currency exchange service and luggage storage facilities.

TVs come with satellite/cable channels and DVD players. Other amenities include free WiFi, IDD (International Direct Dial) phones, electronic in-room safes, MP3 connectors, and hair dryers.
Pros: Location is perfect. Much within walking distance, but the Seoul Metro is right outside the front entrance. Interior design of the room was wonderful, with more than adequate amenities. Complimentary shuttle service was much appreciated after a long stay.
The photos and reviews set high expectations, but the experience was even better. After stays in B&Bs, corporate apartments, luxury hotels, and everything in between across Europe and the US, Park Hyatt Seoul is at the top of my list of places to stay.
Be sure to try the breakfast and buffet. It isn't cheap, but it's well worth the price.
Service and staff, location, cleanliness, amenities, size, and decor all get five stars. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Seoul.
Cons: Only (minor) complaint is the elevator. You must go to the lobby at the top, transfer elevators, swipe your room key, then go down. Every time we left the room we would accidentally try to go down when you must go up to leave.

With the largest deluxe rooms in the city, the 24-story fashioned like a glass box has 185 guestrooms including 38 suites, and offers panoramic city views through the floor-to-ceiling windows on every floor. The spa-inspired bathroom measured at a third of the size of the entire room is the standout feature in all the guestrooms.
Duriworld GuestHouse offers an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for KRW 10000 per person roundtrip. Guests will have free perks like breakfast, WiFi, and wired Internet. Rooms feature bonuses like kitchenettes and washers/dryers, along with living rooms and LED TVs.
Take in the views from the rooftop terrace when you stay at Monai GuestHouse. Free perks include WiFi, wired Internet, and continental breakfast daily between 7 AM and 9:30 AM. Rooms feature bonuses like refrigerators and microwaves, along with flat-screen TVs and room service.
Pros: I liked the location, which is located in Myeong-Dong.
Cons: They didn't have bottled water. The gym did not an eclytical rider (only tread mills). The gym had a TV but it did not work. The TV in the hotel room was too small, the heater kept going on and the room was too hot. I called the front desk but it seemed they didn't know what was wrong either, although I think they knew there was a problem. The room itself was kind of small but it was okay. However, I felt that the hallways were dirty and it seemed maintenance had not been done regularly. Walls had marks and carpet seemed dirty. The bathroom in the room was below average, a unit that had been installed. Overall, I would not stay at this hotel. I would recommend the hotel to improve the maintenance and the overall quality of the hotel. I would rather pay more to stay at a higher quality hotel. Location was the best part about this hotel.
ibis Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong is located in the heart of the trendiest shopping district in Seoul, with major department stores, restaurants, cafes and nightclubs nearby. The hotel features 280 contemporary style rooms with LCD televisions as well as a restaurant, sauna, gym, business centre, coin operated laundry and parking. Major banks and businesses also have their headquarters in the area and the hotel has two meeting rooms available for up to 40 delegates.
Pros: New hotel, fresh colors and contemporary designs, modern, clean, comfortable, large window in room. The glassed in bathroom made it feel larger. Good location for business and shopping. Staff was very friendly and accomodating. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and breakfast room had a nice view on the top floor. I would come back to stay there.
Cons: Small room for a regular size suitcase. Best for one person in the room.
Take in the views from the rooftop terrace when you stay at ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Myeongdong. Guests can visit the fitness center for a workout or grab a bite to eat at Le Style, which serves Korean cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a sauna are other highlights, and rooms at this upscale hotel offer LCD TVs and refrigerators.
Pros: Friendly and Helpful Staff
City Centre Location - walking distance to two palaces, subway, restaurants, city tour and airport busses
Room was spacious and clean
Pros: I liked how close it was to the festivities that were going on while my stat there. I liked how the walls really blocked sound coming in from other rooms, it made me feel very seperated from the world.
Cons: I did not like how the staff would look at my girlfriemd different than they would look at me, it really put off our mood for a bit. Also i got the room with the intent of it having a two person tub and it did not, but we were already put off by the mood we recieved so we didnt choose to pursue the matter.
Pros: The hotel was literally steps (5-15 minutes) from some of the attractions, train station, tourist info kiosk. A staff brought me to my room and explained how to work the card key and explained which was free and can be charged to the room. Room was clean.
Cons: There was no thermostat to adjust the heat in the room. I found the setting a bit warm. What solved the problem (partly) was to open an inner window so there was a slight cool breeze that came from the outside.
