10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! We were here for our “mini-moon” and from the second we arrived Warwick and Cathy were the most helpful and generous hosts. The self contained unit we stayed in was immaculately - and I mean immaculately - clean. Not a spec of dust in sight, the private gardens were absolutely lovely and perfectly maintained. We loved sitting out there having breakfast every morning with the plentiful food we were left. Everything was such good quality - from the quality brand name towels, linen and crockery to the delicious bread, milk, condiments etc. there was nothing left wanting and certainly nothing to complain about. Beautifully decorated, super comfy with a great bed, air con, Netflix, coffee machine - you name it. They even made us scones the morning we checked out! Amazing service and quality - especially for the price! 11/10 for sure.
Cons: Literally nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very enjoyable 5 night stay at Sherwood. This little studio cottage was the perfect base for exploring the Hills, visiting wineries and following the Tour Down Under. Cathy and Warwick have thought of everything... bubbles in the fridge, chocolates, breakfast supplies, fruit and even a picnic basket! We’ll be back!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: From the minute we opened the door, we could see how much love and thought had gone into every little detail. Afternoon tea was there, breakfast provisions, Lovely bottle of red wine, chocolates even a picnic basket to use! Outside, the garden was immaculate, BBQ if you wanted, lovely fire pit at the top of the garden, and it was just for our use. The parking at the front of the property was made easier as they have a turntable, you press a button the car turns round ready for you to drive straight out. The thought that has gone into this property is amazing.
Cons: Not a thing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very neat and had everything there. Very cute, wish we could have stayed longer
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cannot express enough how perfect our stay was. Warwick and Cathy are the most gracious hosts. They truly went above and beyond for us after we’d had car trouble, we are so grateful. Also, the attention to detail at Sherwoode is incredible in every aspect. Five stars is not a high enough rating.
Cons: Having to leave!

Pros: The obvious extra thought and care that went into the preparation and presentation of the accommodation and surrounds- too many things to mention! The welcoming tour and conversation were informative and friendly and you could tell they wanted you to enjoy their property as much as they love it!!
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like- the only thing that could have been better is a toilet that flushed a little faster!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Warwick and Cathy are the perpect hosts, nothing was too much trouble even down to the offer of scones for breakfast. If you need to know anything about the area just ask and they will direct you to the right place, especially the Crafers Hotel

Pros: I liked everything about the place
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The host Kerrie is so warm and helpful. She provided a great deal of information about the area. The room was very well appointed with a coffee and tea bar providing plunger coffee and fresh fruit. The room was warm and cozy with an exceptionally comfortable bed. The bathroom was fitted to a very high standard. Everything was exceptionally clean. There is a side gate for individual access to the room. I loved staying here and regretfully had to leave very early (she had offered fresh home brewed coffee). I feel I had exceptional value for money! I highly recommend this place.
Cons: I liked everything!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Facilities were excellent and exactly as advertised. Kerrie is a lovely host and made sure I enjoyed my stay. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were nicely set out and the view from the bathroom out to the private garden was delightful. It was peaceful and quiet. Kerrie the host was lovely and helpful and friendly. The café lattes she made were delicious and greatly appreciated. Next time I return to Adelaide, I will definitely stay here!
Cons: Nothing. Everything was perfect The weather was cold and overcast but the rooms have heaters. In summer the ducted air conditioning would keep it nicely cool.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The host was absolutely incredible. She went above and beyond and she was so genuine and sincere. It was a delightful and unexpected bonus of the whole experience. I booked the stay for my friends and they couldn't speak highly enough of the host. Property was lovely and she gave plenty of recommendations of places to eat and things to do in the are etc. We will book the accommodation for ourselves in the future.
Cons: Minimal cooking facilities but this isn't always a must for a stay so it depends on what you are looking for. My friends were able to make a basic dinner for themselves so not a bad thing at all.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Kerrie was a great host and made us feel very welcome. It was cosy warm and homely place to stay. Perfect for our needs and great value.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner a lovely friendly helpful resin keen to please The bed was very comfortable
Cons: The room was a bit basic it’s just a bedroom in a house I expected a separate room No TV only one chair so if you are a couple it’s a bit basic Nice bathroom but cold water twice in the evening in my Four day stay Concrete pathway and steps down cause me to fall and damage my hand and wrist as the sensor lights to show you the way come on a bit late. I had to go and get an X-ray of my hand the next day. Breakfast also is basic nothing to cook with you can boil or poach eggs, toast and jam and tea or coffee. There was a lovely fruit bowl
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful tranquil space. Secure and private setting. The owner Kerrie is lovely. Kerrie invited us into her home for morning coffee. Very homely and welcoming.
Cons: Still trying to think of anything Nothing springs to mind.

Pros: A beautiful location and cosy room. The lovely farmland view from the room & resident native birdlife (literally) on the doorstep was an absolute highlight. 'Amble Wren' by name and also by nature, as on the morning of our departure, we were entertained by a beautiful blue 'Superb Fairy Wren' (and his lady Hen) flitting about right outside the window. Perfect. We wished we could have stayed longer. To our hostess Vanessa, thank you for your friendliness, the lovely chat and for managing such a delightful venue. We do hope to return someday! Many thanks. Michael & Jules

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Top of the shelf motel. Clean fresh and in excellent location Has a fair Tariff for location Highly recommended to any traveller wanting a great place to stay
Cons: Couldn’t fault anything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room itself. It offered lots of privacy. Loved how the main shops are right there on your doorstep. Loved the fireplace. It rained most of the day and night so it was nice and cosy with the fireplace. Very large fridge freezer was a great to see also. The best was the large bathroom with the spa. Checking in was easy also.
Cons: The pictures and room description online need updating. I was not going to book this place based on the photos which make the room appear dark and plus the room said loft as in a two level. However is far from it. Very glad I booked because I was pleasantly surprised when walking in the room. The room was a one level and more of a shallot with high ceiling and beams sticking out and not dark at all. It was light and simple. Just loved this room. I did not want to leave. The other complaint would be poor sound proofing so if you do not want to hear your neighbours conversation this is not for you.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything

Cladich Pavilions - Aldgate - Building
6
9.7 Excellent (34 reviews)
Overview Reviews
Located in Aldgate, Cladich Pavilions is in a rural location, within a 10-minute drive of Cleland Conservation Park and Mount Lofty Botanic Garden. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The Cladich Pavilions was on my 'bucket list' of Adelaide Hills accomodation for some time, so I was glad to finally stay here. My needs for this trip was to find somewhere I was able to relax and take a break from a busy and particular stressful time in my life. I feel lucky to have discovered this gem of a location and look forward to future stays. The hospitality I received was generous and personal. Met upon arrival to help settle in, and breakfast provisions were available every morning and were so plentiful I struggled to finish them over the duration of my stay. Cladich Pavilions is a difficult property to fault at all, because it is particularly unique in look and feel. Cosy, comfortable, private and close to an endless amount of attractions in the hills. My best advice for others looking to stay here is book early if planning to stay over a weekend. I was fortunate enough to stay during weekdays so this helped me at short notice. Naturally, you would also benefit from having access to your own transport because of the location.
Cons: The only suggestion that comes to mind is to offer a larger discount on longer stays. This is potentially more applicable to booking.com as contacting the accomodation direct may help with this.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Loved the fact that the dishes were done for us! Really close to a nice town, Stirling, and to the vineyards.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The privacy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very classy place, loved bush setting and balcony. Enjoyed the breakfast provisions and big thick towels. Host was very friendly with a nice natural way about her and very keen to please and assist us.Oh and great hot shower. We loved the wooden floors, windows and the decore as well.
Cons: Really do need a second split system air conditioner in the bedroom. It did not cool down properly until a cool change came through early next morning. In Winter I imagine this may also be a problem re heating.
7.5 Good
Cons: There was no ice tray in the refrigerator.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely mini honeymoon stay
Cons: Only stayed for two nights, love to be there longer! A few more options for breakfast would be good. Shower gel instead of soap bar. Better hand soap, just seemed like soapy water.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment gave us a clean homely feeling in a gorgeous nature setting. There were plenty of birds including kookubarras right in the backyard. The hostess was equally gracious and the breakfast served along with the well equipped kitchen went a long way in making our stay cozy and comfortable
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hosting, met and shown around the property on arrival, very clean, great location, we loved our stay.
Cons: Although breakfast was included after the first morning we had eaten what we found out later was for the whole stay, but that said, the breakfast we did have was great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: lovely town but arrived at night and left early morning. did not have time to explore
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was absolutely amazing, the service and the room was exceptional. We will definitely be back.
Cons: Not necessarily about the property itself, but the people who stayed next to us Thursday night had several people in their room and were drinking etc and were quite rowdy. I knocked at approximately 11pm and asked politely if they could please be quiet as we were trying to sleep and they lady who answered was very nice and said no worries. People started to leave and were feeling the pool and how warm it was and were extremely loud, mind you it was 11:30pm and someone told the girl who was screaming to be quiet cause we were trying to sleep and she then proceeded to say “they can get f****d”. We just let it go and stayed in bed as we didn’t want to cause any trouble. We were very glad that they only stayed that one night. This is not the property owners fault in any way, as we had a fantastic stay. It’s just unfortunate that there are people who can be so inconsiderate.

6.0 Good
Pros: The location right in centre of Handorf on main street The food evening buffet was excellent with plenty of choice and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The rooms were very dated. shower curtain ripped fly screens broken dirt and dust under beds windows dirty all walls were dirty and obviously haven't been painted in years. I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay. The rooms need refurbishment.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Quietness
Cons: Instructions for microwave is needed and cold water tap needs fixing for the bath
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is convenient to all things Hahndorf and lady on the desk remembered my name from previous visits. Room was clean and tidy, coffee and tea provisions were plentiful. Received a discount on breakfast the next morning, which was unexpected.
Cons: As with all hotels, I found the mattress to be uncomfortable. Seemed to sag outwards, husband and I both felt we were going to roll off onto the floor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was great, I liked the old look, rooms need up dating though.
Cons: No the staff are beautiful
4.0 Okay
Pros: Not much to be honest
Cons: Steep steps to room, no lift, cobwebs all over room and ceiling, uncomfortable bed, no room service, roadside location noise from traffic, thin curtains letting in light
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Affordable and clean accommodation in the main street of Hahndorf. Easy parking and good food available in the dining room.
Cons: Pillows in room needed replacing. Not sure if it was the hotel or the main street speakers but god awful Christmas carols playing until 3.30 am did not allow for much sleep 🙁
4.0 Okay
Pros: This motel / accommodation is separate to the pub and well positioned. The location at the northern end of Hahndorf is good, and it is easy to access the main part of town on foot - it's best feature. The rooms 'have potential'.
Cons: We had booked 4x rooms for our travelling group, for one night. One of the rooms had door lock issues. Our room had a shower that would not turn off, so a constantly running shower. Staff notified were unable to have this fixed during our stay.
