Went here on a little getaway for one night and it seems like they are in the midst of updating a lot of the rooms and the grounds are being updated as well. We were able to get a good nights rest and didn't feel impacted by any of the construction/updates happening. Our room seemed to have brand new carpet and all the furnishings seemed to be in great condition. Loved the fire place that we had in our room and made use of the bundles of wood that they gave us (you can ask for more wood at a reasonable cost). Room felt very spacious and had a nice little balcony/patio as well. Enjoyed a little swim in the hot tub on the premises and were actually able to enjoy it without any other patrons (but the hot tub felt nice and big if we had to). Pool was nice and heated as well but I spent most of my time in the hot tub. They had corn hole and some other lawn games available in addition to a work out room (but i didnt use it at all). Breakfast is pretty small in offerings but was still able to get some things to munch on. There isnt many options around for food that are within walking distance but there is one option, Joe's Restaurant, and the food and desserts were pretty good!!!! We just wanted to enjoy a night in so it was sweet to be able to walk over and get some things to go that were tasty. Honestly would happily stay here again as it was pretty reasonably priced (maybe because its under remodel) but I loved it.
Pros. The room was nice and large. The bed was comfortable.
Cons. The bathtub was clogged, and the television didn't work very well. The picture was very staticky and a lot of channels didn't come in well enough to watch.

Cons. Inability to control the room temperature other than using the ceiling fan. Also, the noise from the child in the adjacent room woke us in the early morning.

Cons. I walked up to my room and opened the door to find the tv on and clothes and wine on the table. They have me the key to someone else's room!!! I was so horrified and startled. This is such a huge security problem. The man at the front desk didn't even seem fazed. As a solo female travel I felt so uncomfortable in my room all night, wondering if they would give someone a key to my room. Absolutely inexcusable. The guests security and safety should be a #1 priority at all times, which they totally do not adhere to.
