THE hotel is very nice, THE elevators, are too show.
The rooms were nice. The people were great. The valet car service was very expensive!
Room was spacious. Good central location. In general, staff was helpful. You must valet your car (of course at an additional charge). Valet station was small. Spent in some cases upwards of 15 mins to retrieve/drop off car. This was inconvenient and inefficient. Our room was not cleaned during our 2 night stay. Highly doubt that I will stay here again. For the money, there are much better alternatives.
Housekeeping, especially Librada, was extremely helpful. Appreciate that they provide you with an incentive to "go green." The view from the pool area is beautiful! Close to the beach with friendly shuttle drivers to take you to some limited destinations. Walking distance to some stores and restaurants. Really liked Hyde Kitchen! Extremely expensive restaurant with limited items in the market. The "go green" incentive doesn't cover taxes. The pool was out of order some of the time we were there. Had to constantly ask and wait for the shuttle (although the staff was friendly about it) and it only goes to very limited places. I had to help someone figure out how to open the door to the pool area, while a staff member watched without offering any help until we were both struggling to open the door (indicating she clearly saw the entire incident take place). Requested a room with one bed and 'preferred view;' we had 2 beds and our balcony was directly across from Wal-Mart (although we could angle ourselves to see the intercoastal waterway). It rained most of our trip- not the hotel's fault!- but guests pay a daily 'activity' fee to use the beach and the pool (along with internet and the shuttle) and we were very limited in what we could use with the weather...and then the pool being out of use at one point. We were unaware of this activity fee until we had already booked.
Liked that it was by the beach and near shopping Weather dampened trip and pool was shut down, which was why I initially chose hotel over others.
The polite staff, decor, and cleanliness. Getting to and from your room was inconvenient because there was only 1 elevator for customers...the building went past 30 floors making the wait ridiculous.
Close to nearly everything, great pool seating, excellent valet service (they also transport to nearby attractions). Rooms were very clean with modern furniture and had a very minimalist vibe. They only opened in May but it seems like this resort was not ready for guests. We had to be put in 3 different rooms because the AC was not working in the first two. Gratuity is added automatically to all bills, which they don't mention. Limited menu and they only serve breakfast and lunch. No dinner service (yet). Also, in the rooms, there were no books or menu of services offered. When I go to a resort I expect to find a list of phone numbers or extensions to call within the hotel for services offered as well as local attractions.
Ill start off by mentioning that I usually do not write reviews. However , on this ocasion I was compelled to share my wonderful experience. Overall experience was excellent. Staff was kind and more helpful than I have ever experieced. They truely made our getaway better than I could have hoped for. Great location with transportation provided to nearby attractions for a small per room resort fee which also includes amenities provided on the beach. Pool was perfect temperature and relaxing, although I imagine that during high season it may not be large enough to accommodate all guests. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms with modern feel. I can honestly say I did not have any negative experiences during my stay.
Our suite was very nice. Really enjoyed the comfort. The air smelled like cologne-covering smoke, but it didn't.
Thought the mattresses were not that firm and comfortable. And if you have a king size bed include king size pillows with the bed . The pillows are so worn and small . Didn't like that the outside venue seemed abandoned not as many shops most things were closed while I was there . Was unaware there was construction. And after talking to a shop employee she said it's been torn up outside for so long and nothing has been done with the space . Definitely not the same fun place I visited several years ago. Seems like the outdoor area is getting rundown.
The casino wasgreat (even tho' we lost). Thefood was usually of good value. Our room was niceand the bed was great but itwas almost a mile walk from the elevator and wewerelocked out onASaturday night foralmost an hour!
I love the enviroment, staff, most resturant & shopping The only thing I dislike on every trip is room service, not the service itself but the food is of poor quaility. I made an inquiry a few trips back and found out it was prepared by The Blue Plate, where I dine after 1am as it was the only one open.....it's horrible!!!
location to sun life stadium staff was rude and room check-in is disfunctional. room should have been ready much sooner than it was.
Nice hotel with a good entertainment Service when we left the room our plane late, they din't help us (only for money) with a shower before we going. We must too the toilet in the casino for other close.
The hotel is a self-contained city...lots of shops and restaurants...the downside was its a casino on Indian property so smoking is allowed----YUCK!
we only stayed for 2 nights and we really liked the swimming area and the casino the room was just what we wanted we will visit again the next time we are in florida 5 star all the way
The pool area made you feel like you were far away on an Island resort The room lighting, not enough. Felt like it was cloudy outside bcs the rooms were dark. Need better lighting
Beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff Got to the hotel late Sunday night. Not much to do at the hotel during the week.
I can not tell you just how horrible our stay was. we were still awake at 9am from the noise in the hall ,the next room was party city. How many whores can fit in a hotel room? even the dirt in the hallways and elevators surprised us. this isn't a hotel on the weekends it is like a sorority house with absolutely no rules and no regard for anyone elses sensibilities. horrible horrible stay.
The beds and linens were wonderful in our room. Room service for breakfast was excellent. The pool area is really lovely, both day and night. Rod Stewart's show was excellent. We found the hotel staff, with the exception of security people, were rather "grumpy".and this includes bartenders.
Nice rooms, comfortable big beds, good price for location Not the most beautiful from the outside where we stayed. Came a day earlier than reservation and they were sold out. Parking $25 a night!
Location to the convention center The lobby was extremely chaotic and loud. There is nothing near the hotel that gives you options for dining out as far as I could tell.
Intercoastal view with a big tree blocking from seing anything
- Only "glitch" was that, when checking in, the front desk said that my business debit card was declined....twice. However: • There was 60x more funds in the account than was needed • I called the Bank and they had no record of even any attempts and • I immediately used that same card at the hotel restaurant Unfortunately, I was forced to use my personal credit card
The proximity to port Everglades is convenient. When I arrived, I was ignored for 20 minutes just standing at the counter while 2 staff members were having a conversation. The lobby and hallways were filthy and smelled terribly. when I asked about the smell a staff member replied "that's just how it smells". While checking in online, I requested a high floor room with a marina view. what they gave me was a first floor room and the "beautiful marina view" was obstructed by overgrown and unkept vegetation, so overgrown that I couldn't get any sunlight into the room. The staff was both incredibly unfriendly and unhelpful. I called down 3 times on my first day to request extra pillows, they told me all 3 times the pillows were on the way. Nothing was ever delivered to the room. There was a large gathering of water underneath the television when I got into the room, when I asked about this they told me they would "look into it" This was without a doubt the worst stay I've ever had at a Hilton property. I would've stayed at a motel 6 and paid a fraction of the price If I knew it was going to be this terrible.
Great location, comfortable room Hallways and bathrooms were not clean to Hilton standards
setting no breakfast before 7 am
Staff was friendly A/C did not work and carpets were dirty
Location was convenient, staff was accommodating Older, a little beat up, not secure at all, parking was terrible, not great value for the money
Ants in room, being charged for a 23 oz draft but only getting a 16 oz glass.
It was a great hotel. The rooms were updated and comfortable. Will highly recommend. Nothing
Great hotel, great service. Our door balcony messed up on us and they moved us into a nicer room with a view to accommodate the inconvenience. Staff was nice and took great care of us. I would definitely go back again
Nice people and when things weren't right they made it right.
Location of the hotel is great, beautiful pool and patio, Great staff overall. The hotel is under heavy construction switching from Westin to Hilton So if you like the sound of pile drivers at 6h00am every morning.... Nothing was told or specified when we made our reservation that the hotel was a construction site!!! Not professional at all!
They aré remodeling all the hotel, so all services and features are not available
THE beach, the room, the lobby I was charged for everything! Even charged for receiving a delivery package. At the end, it ended up being a very expensive hotel.
Worst cell and internet reception
Excellent location, very nice pools and grounds, nice bathroom and comfortable beds, good TV selection, wonderful beach. Part of the hotel is under renovation and we could not go outside to our balcony. They were all locked and dirty from the reconstruction. We have stayed here about 5 yrs ago and everything was perfect. Everything is still very well kept ,but the hotel is starting to show signs of wear. So, the renovation is on time. Finish date is Fall 2016. I can't wait to see it. We will be back. Hotel very crowded and busy this holiday weekend.
Love the pool and the view of the beach! Everything was clean! Couldn't take food outside to the pool or a cooler. Security guards were annoying on that.
The location and beach access. Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Construction didn't take away from beauty of hotel. The resort fees. Just include in price up front.
I stayed at this property 3 years ago. Then the hotel was a bit ragged and showing its age. Since Hilton has taken over they've done an amazing job fixing the hotel. It's pricey but I was on an expense account
Being on the beach was amazing and the faculties for the event was one of the best I have ever seen The balconies were all closed off, the staff were rude and argued with you, no place to get food during the day. This please looks like a high end resort but has the amanties of a best western
Pool area is fantastic, beachfront hotel and staff were accomodating and most of them freindly. very expensive to buy anything at the hotel. Room was not perfect but the beach view was memorable!! Worth the extra $$. There was no free wifi even with the pricy room! not acceptable these days.
Pretty location and the facilities are nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and operations were a hot mess. Ownership has changed and it was as if every employee there was on their last day of work. The checkin was a mess, the billing was wrong three times, the beach was nearly impossible to get help with chairs etc. the place is on a steady decline. Find somewhere else to stay for that kind of money unless they get their act together. We recommend the Palms in Miami beach! Same price but 1000% better on customer service and style.
The personal are professional and very polite.
The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store. Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great. Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
Rooms are stylish, well concepted and executed. Baths and beds and interior design is well done. Rooms have great views and are quiet. This hotel and the W are the two best hotels in Fort Lauderdale and this is a great value. Close to restaurants and the beach. Slight access issues, but once you've stayed there you figure it out and its fine, the location offsets any access challenges.
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool. Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
Vera¡y good location The service specially for the breakfast was very poor
Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again. My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
Friendly staff, clean, close to beach. Nothing negative
NOTHING. EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great. Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than most of the hotels on the strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better. Beds were very comfy. Room amenities: Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs daily. Location: The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as crowded. We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block surrounding the hotel. There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot, deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven. There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small restaurants. We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking. We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person). Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out front), cab, Uber, bike rentals. The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A. The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all. Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again. The pool was sort of small though. I would have liked a microwave as well though. Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
Very clean room Pool very cloudy
Hotel did not look the same as pictures displayed online. The room smelling like old cigarette smell it wasn't a balcony either
Parking was $25
My boyfriend and I flew in from out of town and stayed here this past week for 3 days. Everything was amazing; the front desk was very professional and polite. Room service was great and accommodating. I loved the spa pool and pool side bar. The view of the marina from our room was breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again when we fly in for Christmas.
Comfort, atmosphere. Staff was friendly, helpful. Outdoor walking from place to place (i.e. room to room, room to pool) Food was not good and not enough a variety. Needs coffee. Laundry facilities not in the building. Wine was way overpriced.
The property is in a sorry state, run down, depressing. The pardon our appearance signs do not forgive the obvious neglect. The staff acts like they know it too. Stay away.
A beautiful place and always feels like you are on a luxury vacation. The lobby bar is one of the best hotel bars ever. I am concerned my credit card will be used under someone else's name as my bill I received was incorrect at the end of my stay and had the incorrect t address on the statement... Every time I've been to the hotel the check in is a huge issue and great area of concern... Honestly, limits my likeliness to return due to headache of rooms are never ready (I checked in last time the room wasn't ready until after 6p and this time I checked in at 4p and had to choose a room on a lower floor due to room on the original was not ready).
Pool lounge and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the bellmen. Lots of things tho do for kids. Breakfast menu at Mariners was very overpriced and of little value including drinks. Women's poolside restroom didn't have functioning locks on stalls.
The pool area was very nice and great location on the water close to the beach I reserved a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was told there was none available and was given a room with two queen size beds. They seemed smaller than queen and were definitely cheap mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was mold on the walls. Definitely not a 4 star!
This hotel is showing its years and definately needs an overhaul. I'd say skip it.
Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable I liked everything
Nice People Paying for parking across the street $30.00 a day, You are paying to stay there your parking should be free.
The pool right on the beach are awesome. You can sit in the pool and watch the TVs at the pool bar. The mermaid show is great and I have seen it about 5 times now. We were not informed that it was under major renovation. The bar in our building didn't open until 5:30. There used to be two bars but one is now closed for renovation. Since there were no vending machines on the hall floors, if you wanted a soda or otherwise you only had one option. Walk out, across the parking lot to a different building (also under renovation) and go to the pool bar. I couldn't even find where breakfast was. If we were just informed of the renovations we would have simply waited a bit to go. I was so dissatisfied we probably wont go back.
The best part of the resort/hotel was location. Depending on what building you stay at, the beach was within walking distance. Also, many restaurants and activities weren't far away. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk, because the speed dial numbers on the hotel phones would ring busy when we call. Also, called for a wake up call, which we never received. Housekeeping would not come or would come in the late afternoon, when we get back from our outings; often times the hallway and under the bed was not cleaned up. When we went to the beach, we were told to raise a flag (which was provided on a pole) when we would like to have bar staff come to see what we need. No one ever came to check on anyone on the beach. The resort fee (according to Delta Vacations) includes 2 beach chairs, 2 bottles of water, 2 signature drinks, 2-2hr bike rental, board games, sand toys, each day. However when asked, I was told the signature drinks were discontinued from the resort fee 2 years ago. Overall, the value for what we paid was not worth it, and do not plan on going back. The pictures from the website are not a good representation of facilities or service. Renovation can only improve appearance.
Just one cleaning lady was nice. Construction guys everywhere, noise, dust, smell.all restaurants in hotel closed! Second pool closed!SKYWALK-CLOSED! each time you go across the road with kids.Terrible experience this year.will never stop there again and will never recommend it to my friends!
Beach access was nice, but there are better places to stay in the area Once we arrived, we were told we have to pay a huge resort fee. Everything you want to do costs extra. Parking was $35/night - which they don't disclose until you arrive.
Front desk was very kind and helpful. Gym was very nice and clean, but would recommend having antibacterial wipes/spray to clean equipment off after you use. Beach area was beautiful along with pool. Wish you guys had almond milk available in little breakfast area. In the hotel room, it did seem a little dirty. In the hallway down towards the room there was always a "funny" smell in the hallway that lasted the whole time. On the last day, we found a large toenail by bathroom door and was very dingy/dirty was adjoining door to the room next to us.
Checked in at the B Ocean in Fort Lauderdale beach, the phone in the room wasn't working most of the time, staff said that they would send a tech to fix it, but no one never came. Ordered room service, waited two hours for them to tell me that the menu that was in the room was an outdated menu which they originally brought me when I had to order, cause there was no menu in the room, so it took me about 3 hours to get some dining in my room. And to have this room cleaned, I had to call at least twice to tell them to send someone to clean the room, and when they finally came, some supervisor came up to room 792 with an attitude to tell me that they were busy and that's why it took them so long. Overall, I will never stay at this hotel anymore, and recommended no one to stay here either. Service is extremely bad.
pool and right on the beach under construction. but can't help that
I booked a room at B Ocean Resort for NYE and the following night. First, I was assigned the wrong room in the wrong tower. The second day, our access card didn't work anymore, because the room was not properly registered as a back-to-back reservation. Second, while we ended up getting a room with lcean view, the sink wasn't properly working. Third, and the worst part about it, B Ocean Resort charger my credit card randomly with bills that I never signed off for. I had about 6 charges for random amounts on my bill, but had only signed one final bill at checkout. Lastly, the food is very expensive. For instance, we ordered one yoghurt as room service for breakfast and the bill, including taxes and tip was $20 (!) For a 4 stars "resort" I would expect way better service and staff, particularky considering their pricing. Billing my card with unauthorized charges is unacceptable!
View Everything at this hotel is broken, elevators, phones, the Skywalk that takes you from one side to the other. The pool is small and there is only 1 bathroom for everyone, the line was at least half hour long all day. It was faster to walk the 2 blocks, cross traffic and climb the stairs to use the bathroom in your room than wait in line, or walk to the beach, which it seemed mist were doing, and use nature's facilities. They also charge $20 a day to park you car and another $20 for resort fees, I'm not sure where that money goes, since everything is broke and the pool is the almost the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel besides a few motel 8's.
The staff was terrific and welcoming, the renovatied rooms were lovely, the pool is amazing We didn't care for the onsite restaurants. However the wreck was fun and we enjoyed the mermaid show.
My family has stayed in this hotel every year for five years over spring break. We have seen it transition from the Sheraton to B Ocean Resorts. It seems the hotel is less interested in families and more interested in catering to singles. 1. Loud music constantly played in the lobby even at 6:00 when you just want to quietly start your day with coffee and quiet. 2. Called room service and went straight to voice mail. Called again and they hung up. 3. The onsite restaurant, Naked Crab, had limited choices for kids and was very expensive.
The room was very small comparing to other hotels of same category
great beach did not receive my wake-up call, which was critical in making 6 AM flight.....very unhappy with the hotel
I loved the pool even though it was not for doing laps. The view from my room was awesome. The food was great and everything was very clean.
The staff were very helpful, the suite was exceptional
The location is the best.
Close proximity to the beach. We stayed at the change management period to Marenas Resort. The services were not good at all.
Great location; spacious rooms; kitchen facilities; decent work out facilities. The hotel is showing some wear. Front desk and bell station are not particularly attentive. At check in, the bathroom in the original room was not clean.
The beach access was wonderful. The bar and restaurant had by far the best service of almost any where I've ever been. No doubt will return.
Kind staff. Excellent handling of an unusual situation. The room was a bit small. Also the closet is tiny and can only be opened by blocking the TV. No room to store luggage.
You will need a car or fairly long and expensive cab rides to go anywhere fun
close to the beach
It was a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. We were able to checkin early and the junior suite with the balcony views was wonderful. That the ATM charged US$3.50 to take cash out.
access to ocean construction
Location and suite we stayed in The valet parking - over priced and under delivered
It was a great location however service and staff were average. No one really went out of their way to be helpful. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am and were not allowed into the room till 3pm. The jacuzzi tub had yellow water coming out of the faucet.
Great service, staff, food. Great location. Hidden fees. Mandatory "resort fee" should be part of up front cost, not an "indicental" learn-about-it-upon-checkout fee. Wifi painfully slow.
Beach front and accessible to anything, nice ocean view from the room, clean hotel and it has everything we need. Front desk is horrible specially the person who checked us in. She told me that I will get a text or a phone call when the room is ready but unfortunately no one calls me back not text. I have to call and find out myself to see if our room was ready. Other than that everything was perfect.
Lovely hotel, large room although suite was booked. Balcony door did not lock
The location was great and the rooms were very nice! The wedding we attended was beautiful. I had left a watch by the pool and checked with the front desk to see if anyone had turned it in. They simply said no and sent me on my way. However, when I checked at the pool restaurant, she asked me if the front desk had checked with lost and found. The front desk didn't even bring up lost and found as an option. Luckily, security had received the watch and we were able to get it back.
I had to wait until 6pm to check in
Nice pool area, access to beach; good restaurant/bar; close to lots of activities in Ft. Lauderdale
Walking into the resort really felt like home. The staff was friendly and very accomodating and it felt so fancy! I really enjoyed my stay and I always stay at the Hilton when I travel, never disappoints! We had a jetted tub in the room and a view of the beach, the swimming pool overlooked the ocean which was walking distance from the hotel! Our whole experience with the resort was everything we dreamed of. Will definitely return our next trip to Fort Lauderdale!
Bathrooms were good and room standards were very acceptable Restaurant seemed a bit Galban hearted and lacked sole - being picky but bar AC was way too cold
Location; felt safe as a lone traveler. Friendly staff. Excellent housekeeping staff. No in room coffee maker.
This is a fabulous hotel and amazing value for money . I cannot praise it enough from the beautiful decor , the huge room, private beach and friendly staff . It's only ten minutes from cruise terminal and fort Hollywood airport and would make a great holiday destination as well as a stopover. Excellent hotel.
private beach with chairs , 2 pools , volley ball and poing pong ,and new
The property was gorgeous, classically elegant Florida. Low key and no overcrowding! The beach was beautifully maintained and the beAch staff - especially Lane were so nice and attentive! Restaurant service was spotty - the food was very good but even with low volume the service was not very attentive. We frequently waited a long time for service, had to ask for silverware, more water, etc.
Execellent atmosphere, nice beach, very nice location.
private beach was excellent and location of hotel was quiet. pools were large and clean. food quality was good . to find hotel was not easy , located off small road in estate , no sign at road side. hotel adds 18% to bill as tip even if you are not happy with service and then asks for more ( bigger tip ). i want to tip how i though the service not an automatic tip by hotel staff.
Very nice resort...free upgraded room on the 5th floor with view of the ocean. Staff was okay. Super beach and very tropical like. Close to shopping too. Restaraunt is very good but expensive. Bug (c-roach) in the room, moved the table to hunt it down and noted the table hadn't been moved for awhile...food/dirty carpet.
Beachfront, pools and very close to shopping, restaurants and activities Can be expensive
Good location. Great views on beach side. I don't like being quoted a price on kayak.com paying that price and then having to pay a resort fee when I get there....especially when I don't know what my $60 resort fee got me. There were towels at the pool. Was that it? Went across the street to the beach, we swam and layed on lounge chairs under an umbrella...then a hotel staffer sats we either need to pay... $20/umbrella or $6/chair....why did I pay $60 in resort fees and I can't use a chair? No airport shuttle and outright dishonesty on pricing. I may stay there again, but I'm never paying a resort fee with no benefits again.
We were greeted as we got out of the car and as soon as you walk into the hotel there was fresh fruit infused water and Olympic cookies. Room was clean and big enough for our group. The pool staff was SUPERB! Our waiter, Emanuel, always made sure we were taken care of and Judy made sure we always had the best seats by the pool. The gym was well equipped and even offered cold towels and fruit. Plus there was a great view of the ocean. My group will stay here every time we are in the area! $30 a day resort fee.
Excellent location right on the beach, awesome customer service & extremely friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely be coming back again both for business and with my family for leisure time! Nothing.
Judy was fantastic. Cost of drinks.
Great ocean view good location Resort hits you with lots of fees
The people who work there are super friendly and helpful. Excellent!
We stayed in the hotel for our anniversary and the staff was phenomenal! They took the time to draft a hand written card and special fruit/nuts/wine for our special weekend. Thank you so much to Brenda and the rest of the Westin colleagues!!
they upgraded my room! They are nice loved them
Pool, easy access to beach, towel and toy rental, away from restaurant/bar strip, walking distance to cvs for essentials and alcohol, easy access to Sun Trolley and bus to get to stores, museum, downtown. Expensive, resort fee, in-house restaurants served bad food and were very expensive, no close by family friendly cheaper food options, expensive beach chair and umbrella rentals, far from grocery store and other shopping
Location was convenient. Starbucks on site, which was great. There was no communication between staff. One person told you it was okay to do something and another person said it wasn't okay. They also charge you "service" charges and don't mention that means tip so you pay tip twice unless you ask.
Storm met us at the taxi and escorted in and to our room His smile and warm demeanor set the tone for our short stay. He was excellent
The location was great, was never loud in the area. Beach is right out the front door. Great food within .5 mile walk. walk down to Las Olas for food and fun. For a young couple, we still paid about 2x as much as our kayak rental. It is $40 a day to park your car, and it's only valet, it's unlimited use of your car, but then you add tips. There is a resort fee not included, which is not too expensive. And we did choose to pay $25 extra a night for a view, which was worth it. Pool food is not great, and service is slow-- but go down to Las Olas for food and fun.
Price but room missing alot of this things Room floor and bathroom dirty flour and tube rust
My bed had no fitted sheet, mattress pad, or comforter. They had just a standard sheet covering the mattress. Every time you move the sheet goes with you. The mattress becomes a exposed and you wind up touching the mattress (disgusting). Hair on pillows that did not belong to me! No chair to sit on at the desk. The couch chair thing in the room was covered in stains, so I wasn't thinking about sitting on it. No ice machine on either of the floors. The only ice machine is at the furthest part of the property. The ice machine barely works. No fridge in the room for extended stays.
One of the rooms the a/c didnot work. 326
First room was acceptable although old until the air conditioner leaked on the floor. The front desk staff were fantastic and helped me to another room. This room was obviously rennovated because it was much more modern. BUT, the second room had broken soap/lotion dispenser at the sink, and MISSING soap/shampoo dispenser in the shower. The sink glass bowl leaked on the counter, and the shower water never got even warm. Leaking airconditioner and outdated interior design in first room. Leaking sink, broken soap dispenser, loose faucet in bathroom. Missing soap/shampoo dispenser and no hot water in shower. Sliding door to balcony did not open.
We waited at the counter for over an hour to get our rooms. The hotel room they gave was dirty and the beds weren't made. Also there were no towels or other toiletries in the bathroom and they had a hard time to get us some towels. One of the rooms floor was all moldy and parts of it was missing.
I reserved three rooms three weeks in advance. I was charged the full amount 4 days in advance. When we arrived (less than an hour after the earliest check-in time) we were given rooms that were nothing like was promised. The furniture was damaged, the bathrooms were mildewed, the beds were rock hard with uncomfortable springs poking and we were missing basic items like soap, phone, iron, iron board, towels, etc. I was told we had no option to move to different rooms because they had given all the better rooms away and opened the rooms we were in from being renovated only five hours before we arrived so that we would have rooms. I will NEVER give my money to this place again.
nothing Dirty Gross Broken tv Appeared to be blood on floor and walk
Nothing positive From check-in to departure, rude unhelpful staff, noisy, old rooms, lights don't work, long waits. To be avoided
NOTHING Blood & Fecal Stained Bedding. Missing floor planks. Dirty balcony with cigarette butts. Poor cable reception(5 stations) Promised a free night because of the condition of our room. (Second room not any better). EVERONE LIED to Hotel.com saying we hadn't showed up and were keeping our money!! hotel.com finally agreed to refund 1 night. Hotel refused even after going back to discuss with a accented lady who LIED to me saying they would refund my money. DON"T STAY.......YOU'LL BE SORRY!!!
Nothing I had to ask for towels everyday and finally got them on my last day staying there which was four days, yea I went four days without towels sounds petty but it's very annoying when you have nothing to dry off with out the shower. Also during my stay I hear other guest complaining about towels and other issues. This hotel needs a lot of work
They didn't charge me to cancel my room once I saw it The pictures online were taken 20 years ago and the place is so gross I didn't want to touch anything
Location Some staff was extremely rude , room cleanliness was terrible, not well kept building, had to fight for towels, patio door would not close, cockroaches in the room. Very noisy HORRIBLE experience!!!
Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and always willing to go out of there way. Clean and comfortable rooms. Loved pool restaurant. Access to the beach was perfect. You can see hotel is showing some age. Hard to listen to people talk about how they paid half your price to be there. Should be more consistent with price.
Immediately pulling up you know this is going to be a beautiful place to stay! Staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Rooms were great and best of all we were right on the beach! Having Starbucks in the hotel was awesome! I would definitely go back!
