Clean, nearby everything, breakfast, pool is great! Second time here and I will be back! Breakfast was cut off too early
Good for money I spent, but staff was unhelpful and the location was ok but the view was terrible
Clean hotel, excellent remodel, attentive staff ELEVATORS! Get those things inspected, one only worked half the time and the other sounded like it was dying, way too loud and rickety.
I enjoyed everything. The Staff was awesom. Rooms were clean, and were kept clean. The free breakfast was awesome, with many things to choose from. I will definitely stay there again when I go back to visit my daughter.
The place is clean people are friendly and there is a limited breakfast in the morning so it's easy to get in and get out Right next to major highway so opening windows brings in lots of noise
The customer service was top of the line. The staff was very professional and well pleasing. Great job overall. Make the windows facing the highway sound proof.
I liked the remodeling of the hotel and the rooms. It has a more modern look and was very clean.
We drove 4 hours from key west and arrived there after 11pm on Thursday, the guys we met at the front desk, the door guard are both very friendly and very patient,Also when we leave Saturday morning,we had a good time at first floor with all the great service and smiles.thx a lot.
Very good hotel for the money
The breakfast was very good and the staff and the frontdesk Shuttles from the hotel to aventura Mall and beaches and some more information what the amenities are when you're staying at the Hampton
Excelent location. Close to all major shopping areas. Confortable beds. Good breakfast. Shower could be better
The stay was pleasant, quiet and uneventful. Thank you! NO!
THE hotel is very nice, THE elevators, are too show.
Room was spacious. Good central location. In general, staff was helpful. You must valet your car (of course at an additional charge). Valet station was small. Spent in some cases upwards of 15 mins to retrieve/drop off car. This was inconvenient and inefficient. Our room was not cleaned during our 2 night stay. Highly doubt that I will stay here again. For the money, there are much better alternatives.
Ill start off by mentioning that I usually do not write reviews. However , on this ocasion I was compelled to share my wonderful experience. Overall experience was excellent. Staff was kind and more helpful than I have ever experieced. They truely made our getaway better than I could have hoped for. Great location with transportation provided to nearby attractions for a small per room resort fee which also includes amenities provided on the beach. Pool was perfect temperature and relaxing, although I imagine that during high season it may not be large enough to accommodate all guests. Breakfast was delicious. Rooms with modern feel. I can honestly say I did not have any negative experiences during my stay.
The rooms were nice. The people were great. The valet car service was very expensive!
Close to nearly everything, great pool seating, excellent valet service (they also transport to nearby attractions). Rooms were very clean with modern furniture and had a very minimalist vibe. They only opened in May but it seems like this resort was not ready for guests. We had to be put in 3 different rooms because the AC was not working in the first two. Gratuity is added automatically to all bills, which they don't mention. Limited menu and they only serve breakfast and lunch. No dinner service (yet). Also, in the rooms, there were no books or menu of services offered. When I go to a resort I expect to find a list of phone numbers or extensions to call within the hotel for services offered as well as local attractions.
Housekeeping, especially Librada, was extremely helpful. Appreciate that they provide you with an incentive to "go green." The view from the pool area is beautiful! Close to the beach with friendly shuttle drivers to take you to some limited destinations. Walking distance to some stores and restaurants. Really liked Hyde Kitchen! Extremely expensive restaurant with limited items in the market. The "go green" incentive doesn't cover taxes. The pool was out of order some of the time we were there. Had to constantly ask and wait for the shuttle (although the staff was friendly about it) and it only goes to very limited places. I had to help someone figure out how to open the door to the pool area, while a staff member watched without offering any help until we were both struggling to open the door (indicating she clearly saw the entire incident take place). Requested a room with one bed and 'preferred view;' we had 2 beds and our balcony was directly across from Wal-Mart (although we could angle ourselves to see the intercoastal waterway). It rained most of our trip- not the hotel's fault!- but guests pay a daily 'activity' fee to use the beach and the pool (along with internet and the shuttle) and we were very limited in what we could use with the weather...and then the pool being out of use at one point. We were unaware of this activity fee until we had already booked.
The polite staff, decor, and cleanliness. Getting to and from your room was inconvenient because there was only 1 elevator for customers...the building went past 30 floors making the wait ridiculous.
Liked that it was by the beach and near shopping Weather dampened trip and pool was shut down, which was why I initially chose hotel over others.
I love the enviroment, staff, most resturant & shopping The only thing I dislike on every trip is room service, not the service itself but the food is of poor quaility. I made an inquiry a few trips back and found out it was prepared by The Blue Plate, where I dine after 1am as it was the only one open.....it's horrible!!!
Nice hotel with a good entertainment Service when we left the room our plane late, they din't help us (only for money) with a shower before we going. We must too the toilet in the casino for other close.
The pool area made you feel like you were far away on an Island resort The room lighting, not enough. Felt like it was cloudy outside bcs the rooms were dark. Need better lighting
I can not tell you just how horrible our stay was. we were still awake at 9am from the noise in the hall ,the next room was party city. How many whores can fit in a hotel room? even the dirt in the hallways and elevators surprised us. this isn't a hotel on the weekends it is like a sorority house with absolutely no rules and no regard for anyone elses sensibilities. horrible horrible stay.
The hotel is a self-contained city...lots of shops and restaurants...the downside was its a casino on Indian property so smoking is allowed----YUCK!
The beds and linens were wonderful in our room. Room service for breakfast was excellent. The pool area is really lovely, both day and night. Rod Stewart's show was excellent. We found the hotel staff, with the exception of security people, were rather "grumpy".and this includes bartenders.
Thought the mattresses were not that firm and comfortable. And if you have a king size bed include king size pillows with the bed . The pillows are so worn and small . Didn't like that the outside venue seemed abandoned not as many shops most things were closed while I was there . Was unaware there was construction. And after talking to a shop employee she said it's been torn up outside for so long and nothing has been done with the space . Definitely not the same fun place I visited several years ago. Seems like the outdoor area is getting rundown.
we only stayed for 2 nights and we really liked the swimming area and the casino the room was just what we wanted we will visit again the next time we are in florida 5 star all the way
location to sun life stadium staff was rude and room check-in is disfunctional. room should have been ready much sooner than it was.
The casino wasgreat (even tho' we lost). Thefood was usually of good value. Our room was niceand the bed was great but itwas almost a mile walk from the elevator and wewerelocked out onASaturday night foralmost an hour!
Our suite was very nice. Really enjoyed the comfort. The air smelled like cologne-covering smoke, but it didn't.
Beautiful hotel and pool. Great staff Got to the hotel late Sunday night. Not much to do at the hotel during the week.
Pool area is fantastic, beachfront hotel and staff were accomodating and most of them freindly. very expensive to buy anything at the hotel. Room was not perfect but the beach view was memorable!! Worth the extra $$. There was no free wifi even with the pricy room! not acceptable these days.
THE beach, the room, the lobby I was charged for everything! Even charged for receiving a delivery package. At the end, it ended up being a very expensive hotel.
Being on the beach was amazing and the faculties for the event was one of the best I have ever seen The balconies were all closed off, the staff were rude and argued with you, no place to get food during the day. This please looks like a high end resort but has the amanties of a best western
Excellent location, very nice pools and grounds, nice bathroom and comfortable beds, good TV selection, wonderful beach. Part of the hotel is under renovation and we could not go outside to our balcony. They were all locked and dirty from the reconstruction. We have stayed here about 5 yrs ago and everything was perfect. Everything is still very well kept ,but the hotel is starting to show signs of wear. So, the renovation is on time. Finish date is Fall 2016. I can't wait to see it. We will be back. Hotel very crowded and busy this holiday weekend.
Pretty location and the facilities are nice. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff and operations were a hot mess. Ownership has changed and it was as if every employee there was on their last day of work. The checkin was a mess, the billing was wrong three times, the beach was nearly impossible to get help with chairs etc. the place is on a steady decline. Find somewhere else to stay for that kind of money unless they get their act together. We recommend the Palms in Miami beach! Same price but 1000% better on customer service and style.
Location of the hotel is great, beautiful pool and patio, Great staff overall. The hotel is under heavy construction switching from Westin to Hilton So if you like the sound of pile drivers at 6h00am every morning.... Nothing was told or specified when we made our reservation that the hotel was a construction site!!! Not professional at all!
Worst cell and internet reception
Nice people and when things weren't right they made it right.
Love the pool and the view of the beach! Everything was clean! Couldn't take food outside to the pool or a cooler. Security guards were annoying on that.
The location and beach access. Hotel was beautiful and comfortable. Construction didn't take away from beauty of hotel. The resort fees. Just include in price up front.
They aré remodeling all the hotel, so all services and features are not available
I stayed at this property 3 years ago. Then the hotel was a bit ragged and showing its age. Since Hilton has taken over they've done an amazing job fixing the hotel. It's pricey but I was on an expense account
Great hotel, great service. Our door balcony messed up on us and they moved us into a nicer room with a view to accommodate the inconvenience. Staff was nice and took great care of us. I would definitely go back again
Easy to book last minute. Needs maintenance. Very simple hotel
Staff was friendly A/C did not work and carpets were dirty
Location was convenient, staff was accommodating Older, a little beat up, not secure at all, parking was terrible, not great value for the money
Intercoastal view with a big tree blocking from seing anything
Pool; marina and waterway views; ability to extend checkout no problem. Difficulty with electronic door lock. Only on checkout was problem disclosed as a battery problem. I'll remember this next stay, should it happen again. Housekeeping supervisor contacted security right away to have battery changed.
Ants in room, being charged for a 23 oz draft but only getting a 16 oz glass.
It was a great hotel. The rooms were updated and comfortable. Will highly recommend. Nothing
Great location, comfortable room Hallways and bathrooms were not clean to Hilton standards
Nice rooms, comfortable big beds, good price for location Not the most beautiful from the outside where we stayed. Came a day earlier than reservation and they were sold out. Parking $25 a night!
setting no breakfast before 7 am
Location to the convention center The lobby was extremely chaotic and loud. There is nothing near the hotel that gives you options for dining out as far as I could tell.
Great view, location - nice rooms. Bed was way too comfortable!
This was a great place to stay. It was very nice and looked more modern than most of the hotels on the strip. Staff very friendly and helpful. Most rooms had a beautiful view of the ocean! The higher your room the better. Beds were very comfy. Room amenities: Keurig coffee maker, refrigerator, ice bucket, 4 glasses, safe, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner/bath gel dispenser in shower, iron/board, mirrors on the closet doors, 2 bottles of water daily They also offered 2 welcome drinks from the bar upon arrival, free beach towels and 2 free beach chairs daily. Location: The location of this hotel was good for us. It is located at the corner of A1A and Sunrise Blvd. The beach was right across the street and this section of the beach wasn't as crowded. We did not need to rent a car. There was plenty of things within a block surrounding the hotel. There was a Thai sushi place, 24hr pizza place, Mediterranean/Vegan spot, deli/sandwich shop, ice cream, popcorn, Subway, 7 Eleven. There were also several souvenir shops, a pub and a couple of other small restaurants. We rented a scooter from Fun Rentals right behind the hotel so we could explore a little further. Great transportation without paying for valet parking. We also used the beach shuttle ($3/person). Other transportation options include Trolley ($1/ride), City bus (bus stop right out front), cab, Uber, bike rentals. The nightlife is about a mile south of the hotel (30 min walk) on A1A. The Galleria mall was about 1/2 mile west on Sunrise blvd...not far at all. Overall this was a great place and we would stay here again. The pool was sort of small though. I would have liked a microwave as well though. Restaurant in hotel was kind of expensive so we never ate there.
The woman at the front counter was extremely helpful and friendly. She immediately saw our daughter who is two and offered to have us a crib sent up immediately. Hotel restaurant server was also excellent. Gave us great service and the food was great. Seemed a little too "uppity" for our family. It always seemed as if someone was looking for a tip. My husband went down to get a luggage cart to take our bags downstairs and the guy wouldn't let him have the cart. Said it was a "liability". I've been to a lot of hotels and always used my own luggage cart. It's not a liability for heavens sake. It just means someone won't get a tip. Also the bed was not very comfortable but that's just a personal opinion. It could be very comfortable to someone else.
The staff is friendly and accumulating. Easy access to beach front. Updated lobby and rooms. Near liquor store. Don't worth the $200+ a night rate I paid. It looks and feels like an old Holiday Inn that was renovated. The view from the rooms of the beach is only a half view as the building is blocking the rest. The carpet was stained. The shower had mold on the grout and caulked in areas. The A/C only kicked on when it wanted to. The pool is the size of an above-ground pool. I paid the rate because the reviews and pictures looked appeasing but it turned out to be a front. Also, it is not an adult only hotel; many, many families present and being very loud and obnoxious. 2-star rating. Only stay here if you find a rate for under $100 a night. Very, very disappointed.
The personal are professional and very polite.
Friendly staff, clean, close to beach. Nothing negative
Great location. Great last minute deal thru Kayak. I will definitely stay again. My room was RIGHT BY THE ELEVATOR... bad move. You hear everythjbg coming in and out. Also, the chef... Well, let's just say the meal I had wSnt great. Actually, it wasn't good either.
Vera¡y good location The service specially for the breakfast was very poor
Clean, friendly staff Restaurant was very expensive
NOTHING. EVERYTHING. I would not stay here, they are not accomodating, the staff is rude and inconsiderate. There sheets were terrible, and the room was dirty.
Very comfortable bed. Rooms are nice. Location to beach is great. Parking cost is $30/night. You can hear every sound through the door.
Room and view was wonderful! Staff was helpful, and the pool was relaxing. Loved the love music at the pool. Breakfast at the hotel resturant cost us a pretty penny.
A beautiful place and always feels like you are on a luxury vacation. The lobby bar is one of the best hotel bars ever. I am concerned my credit card will be used under someone else's name as my bill I received was incorrect at the end of my stay and had the incorrect t address on the statement... Every time I've been to the hotel the check in is a huge issue and great area of concern... Honestly, limits my likeliness to return due to headache of rooms are never ready (I checked in last time the room wasn't ready until after 6p and this time I checked in at 4p and had to choose a room on a lower floor due to room on the original was not ready).
The staff was awesome, Everyone was very friendly and willing to make our stay memorable. Our balcony was so relaxing after a long flight, we enjoyed looking out at the beautiful garden area.
Hotel did not look the same as pictures displayed online. The room smelling like old cigarette smell it wasn't a balcony either
The pool area was very nice and great location on the water close to the beach I reserved a room with a king size bed. When I arrived I was told there was none available and was given a room with two queen size beds. They seemed smaller than queen and were definitely cheap mattresses. Very uncomfortable. Also the wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was mold on the walls. Definitely not a 4 star!
This hotel is showing its years and definately needs an overhaul. I'd say skip it.
My boyfriend and I flew in from out of town and stayed here this past week for 3 days. Everything was amazing; the front desk was very professional and polite. Room service was great and accommodating. I loved the spa pool and pool side bar. The view of the marina from our room was breath taking. We will definitely be staying here again when we fly in for Christmas.
Everyone was very nice and knowledgeable I liked everything
The property is in a sorry state, run down, depressing. The pardon our appearance signs do not forgive the obvious neglect. The staff acts like they know it too. Stay away.
Parking was $25
Comfort, atmosphere. Staff was friendly, helpful. Outdoor walking from place to place (i.e. room to room, room to pool) Food was not good and not enough a variety. Needs coffee. Laundry facilities not in the building. Wine was way overpriced.
Pool lounge and pool staff were very friendly and accommodating as was the bellmen. Lots of things tho do for kids. Breakfast menu at Mariners was very overpriced and of little value including drinks. Women's poolside restroom didn't have functioning locks on stalls.
Location, great pool, lots of on site food choices, no need to even leave the resort The housekeepers would forget to clean the room. Mattress is terrible
I loved everything about the place The only thing I didn't like I was treated to two days at the hotel and it was paid for at checkout I was charged for hotel fee complimentary water a chair on beach that was a bit strange they should include it in the price especially When U check in and they tell you it's complimentry I get a bit cheated
A little expensive
Location Staff from the pool really rude open more time the pool
Staff were absolutely amazing, thumbs up to the crew. The pool is absolutely beautiful, rooms clean, beach is five seconds from the pool. Highly recommend staying here!!!
The staff here were great, especially the cleaning crew. I did not like paying $17 a day to park my own car.
Across the road from the beach. Room was clean. The pool on the waterfront was cool. Water taxi came to the hotel and was only $26 for an all day pass. The noise from the elevator. Only 3 doors down but still was quite loud. Area was away from the bars and restaurants. Needed to get an taxi to most places.
Elizabeth the front desk person was excellent room was not ready at check in. location.. no beach access
Very big rooms. Each room has a balcony & a kitchen
The pool area is very nice & it overlooks the intercoastal waterway. Cool little Tiki Bar and wonderful staff. I do not think it was clear the beach is not any easy walk from Resort and you can barely see ocean, ocean view rooms, very misleading. If I stayed there again, I would stay in a room that overlooked pool area/sound side. If you are not an beach/ocean lover, it would be a great place for you.
Very clean room. Very helpfull staff. Beach is across the street. Great location to restaurants.
Excellent location and very nice hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at the Crowne Plaza. A bit pricey to eat at the hotel.
The room was spacious and clean. I also liked that there was an exercise facility on site. I was attending a conference at the Westin and the Crowne Plaza was very close to that (walking distance) and the cost was half the money.
Approx. 300 meters to the beach, nice pool area and situated to a "river" with a very nice view from our room. Rooms are large.
The rooms were great Paying 25 bucks to valet everyday was ridiculous.
The staff was super friendly, they recognized me by name every time I walked in the hotel. It was just a girlfriend and I staying here during our college spring break and we felt extremely safe while staying here which is important for a couple of females when in a place they have never been before. The pool area was somewhere we hadn't planned on using much since the beach is so close but we had some windier days while visiting so the pool was the perfect solution since it's more protected from the wind. The hotel is only a short walking distance from the boardwalk, restaurants, and Walmart so you have lots of stuff right close by if you don't have a car and don't want to pay for a cab. The hotel is also one of the stops for the water taxi so that can also get you most of the places along the board walk using that. The $18 self parking fee per night was kind of ridiculous to me. I loved the fact that it had a security gate although people could still walk past it. The self parking area didn't have a side entrance so you had to walk back around to the front of the hotel which wasn't that far of a walk but what bothered me the most is it wasn't well lit area. Other than that though, we had an overall great stay!
Good for the Money to much noise from neighbor rooms
Just one cleaning lady was nice. Construction guys everywhere, noise, dust, smell.all restaurants in hotel closed! Second pool closed!SKYWALK-CLOSED! each time you go across the road with kids.Terrible experience this year.will never stop there again and will never recommend it to my friends!
The pool right on the beach are awesome. You can sit in the pool and watch the TVs at the pool bar. The mermaid show is great and I have seen it about 5 times now. We were not informed that it was under major renovation. The bar in our building didn't open until 5:30. There used to be two bars but one is now closed for renovation. Since there were no vending machines on the hall floors, if you wanted a soda or otherwise you only had one option. Walk out, across the parking lot to a different building (also under renovation) and go to the pool bar. I couldn't even find where breakfast was. If we were just informed of the renovations we would have simply waited a bit to go. I was so dissatisfied we probably wont go back.
My family has stayed in this hotel every year for five years over spring break. We have seen it transition from the Sheraton to B Ocean Resorts. It seems the hotel is less interested in families and more interested in catering to singles. 1. Loud music constantly played in the lobby even at 6:00 when you just want to quietly start your day with coffee and quiet. 2. Called room service and went straight to voice mail. Called again and they hung up. 3. The onsite restaurant, Naked Crab, had limited choices for kids and was very expensive.
Beach access was nice, but there are better places to stay in the area Once we arrived, we were told we have to pay a huge resort fee. Everything you want to do costs extra. Parking was $35/night - which they don't disclose until you arrive.
I booked a room at B Ocean Resort for NYE and the following night. First, I was assigned the wrong room in the wrong tower. The second day, our access card didn't work anymore, because the room was not properly registered as a back-to-back reservation. Second, while we ended up getting a room with lcean view, the sink wasn't properly working. Third, and the worst part about it, B Ocean Resort charger my credit card randomly with bills that I never signed off for. I had about 6 charges for random amounts on my bill, but had only signed one final bill at checkout. Lastly, the food is very expensive. For instance, we ordered one yoghurt as room service for breakfast and the bill, including taxes and tip was $20 (!) For a 4 stars "resort" I would expect way better service and staff, particularky considering their pricing. Billing my card with unauthorized charges is unacceptable!
Checked in at the B Ocean in Fort Lauderdale beach, the phone in the room wasn't working most of the time, staff said that they would send a tech to fix it, but no one never came. Ordered room service, waited two hours for them to tell me that the menu that was in the room was an outdated menu which they originally brought me when I had to order, cause there was no menu in the room, so it took me about 3 hours to get some dining in my room. And to have this room cleaned, I had to call at least twice to tell them to send someone to clean the room, and when they finally came, some supervisor came up to room 792 with an attitude to tell me that they were busy and that's why it took them so long. Overall, I will never stay at this hotel anymore, and recommended no one to stay here either. Service is extremely bad.
pool and right on the beach under construction. but can't help that
View Everything at this hotel is broken, elevators, phones, the Skywalk that takes you from one side to the other. The pool is small and there is only 1 bathroom for everyone, the line was at least half hour long all day. It was faster to walk the 2 blocks, cross traffic and climb the stairs to use the bathroom in your room than wait in line, or walk to the beach, which it seemed mist were doing, and use nature's facilities. They also charge $20 a day to park you car and another $20 for resort fees, I'm not sure where that money goes, since everything is broke and the pool is the almost the smallest I've ever seen at a hotel besides a few motel 8's.
Front desk was very kind and helpful. Gym was very nice and clean, but would recommend having antibacterial wipes/spray to clean equipment off after you use. Beach area was beautiful along with pool. Wish you guys had almond milk available in little breakfast area. In the hotel room, it did seem a little dirty. In the hallway down towards the room there was always a "funny" smell in the hallway that lasted the whole time. On the last day, we found a large toenail by bathroom door and was very dingy/dirty was adjoining door to the room next to us.
The best part of the resort/hotel was location. Depending on what building you stay at, the beach was within walking distance. Also, many restaurants and activities weren't far away. We had to use our cell phones to call the front desk, because the speed dial numbers on the hotel phones would ring busy when we call. Also, called for a wake up call, which we never received. Housekeeping would not come or would come in the late afternoon, when we get back from our outings; often times the hallway and under the bed was not cleaned up. When we went to the beach, we were told to raise a flag (which was provided on a pole) when we would like to have bar staff come to see what we need. No one ever came to check on anyone on the beach. The resort fee (according to Delta Vacations) includes 2 beach chairs, 2 bottles of water, 2 signature drinks, 2-2hr bike rental, board games, sand toys, each day. However when asked, I was told the signature drinks were discontinued from the resort fee 2 years ago. Overall, the value for what we paid was not worth it, and do not plan on going back. The pictures from the website are not a good representation of facilities or service. Renovation can only improve appearance.
Nice People Paying for parking across the street $30.00 a day, You are paying to stay there your parking should be free.
Great location Pillows, parking, no heating
Great location, close to airport and beaches. Not a lot of frills, but a comfortable bed, decent breakfast, and the staff is awesome. Also not a bad fitness center. Even though the location is great, it's a little difficult to find so if you drive pay attention. Located next to I95 so a little loud out by the pool, but hard to notice unless a really large truck comes through.
Location Bit warn, could be cleaner maids do minimum clean
The gym and room was very nice. We don't eat pork products and that's what was served each day. They could have added turkey to the menu as well for diversity. The carpet in thefroom was very worn and the bathroom sink was clogged , the water took a very long time to go down the drain.
Conveniently located. 3.5 miles from Dania beach, nice large rooms. Room service is quite pushy if you dont let them in every day to clean your room. Breakfast ends way to early, 9 am during the week, 10 am sat and sun. Tv doesnt work well and is very touchy.
Location No kitchen in room
We stayed at this Best Westin for 2 days because we missed a connecting flight to Myrtle Beach. The hotel is very close to airport with clean rooms, nice spa pool, and breakfast. The staff were all friendly and excellent hospitality.
We stayed the day before our cruise. Complimentary Shuttle picked up from the airport and for a nominal fee, a shuttle took us to the cruise the next day. The hotel is in walking distance from many restaurants. Great value and convenience. Unfortunately, we were in competition with 8 other cruise lines, so getting picked up from the airport was a bit of a nightmare...One of the hotel Shuttles was out of commission so the operating shuttle was continuously filled up..It took an hour to get to the hotel which was less than 10 minutes away. Advise.....check to see how many cruise ships are sailing on the same day!
the service was friendly, room exceeded my expectations was clean and big!!! as soon as i settle in my room front desk called to check everything was ok. I would say I got more that I thought for my money.
Airport transfer is unreliable. I waited over an hour for the airport shuttle which did not arrive and had to get a cab to the hotel. And that was 10 am in the morning. Entrance to the hotel was easy to miss since the hotel was partially hidden from there main road.
The breakfast was great but everything else..... I had been traveling for 2 weeks and I pick this location because it had a laundry. I get there and it's broken but when I inquire at the desk they say they did not even know it was broken. They tell me to wait until morning and they will have it fix. Good for me that I did not believe them, cause it still was not fixed by 11 am the next day. So at 12 am I'm looking for a 24 hour laundromat and I ask the guy at front desk for quarters and he gives my family and I attitude. I also called to say I was going to be late to not give my room away. I get there and say sorry we gave your room away and was stuck in a smoking room. The staff then tried to blame me and said you must of booked the smoking room. I kept my cool but as someone who travels for work never again!!!! Also front lobby smells of guest that smoke pot. NO THANKS! Service is not a standard at this hotel.
Free breakfast and shuttle to the airport Room smelled very musty and front desk said it was because of the humidity. I've stayed at many hotels in Florida without a musty odor in the past.
offered shuttle service to the cruise port for $12 per person Very busy hotel on the weekend.
Comfort , cleaning , food etc Valet parking very slow
great value for money Not in a very hip and happening area
The beds are comfortable and the rooms are sound proof. There was broken glass by the mini fridge when we first arrived. There was left over food particles in the cabinets. The bathroom was equipped for 2 people even though 4 were on the reservation. The outside vinyl wicker lounge chairs were broken. The person at the towel stand didn't know if there was a vending machine on site. When you check in, they swipe your credit card for incidentals, once I returned home, there was a charge on the credit card. When I called to inquire, I was told we used items from the mini bar. I told them this was not true because we had gone across the street to Publix and the liquor store to buy alcohol and even left more than what was provided. They reluctantly reversed the charges.
Dominique was very rude front desk! The hotel d ouble charged me! I'm still waiting on a refund for double charged resort fees! I was told free Wifi and they still charged me for wifi! I asked for a bay view.. And they gave me a shopping plaza view .. I would've paid extra for a better view but the guy Domnique lied and said I already had a bay view .. :(
The view tv did not work. had repairman in the room at 1 am!
Excellent amenities and beach Locatio All good
Hôtel très bruyant
Beautiful surroundings and ecellent food. Room was beyond expectations!
The hotel is beautiful with two pools, great spa, everything you would expect from a Trump Resort. Thought the price could have been a bit better during these tough economic times and considering the hotel was half empty.
I'm extremely on happy with the customer service, I was told by the front desk at check-in that all resort fees are included, I was surprised at checkout to see those fees add to my bill, when I spoke with the manager Normita Netterville and explained the situation she was very rude and unhelpful and said out loud that if I don't like the hotel policies I can go next time somewhere else!
The staff was very nice as they upgraded my room to an ocean front view. I had a great view with a very large room. The hotel needs to be remodeled. The bathroom was very old and peeling paint from the vanity. The room had a very awkward smell every time entered.
Our room was spacious and the view was gorgeous! The balcony off our room and on the back of the resort was great. We really enjoyed eating and having a few drinks out there. The resort's beach was very nice and the guys that worked the beach stand were very attentive. All of the staff were very friendly as well. We had a great time! The bar closes at 11:30pm, which seemed kind of earlier. We were there at close Saturday night and there was at least 30 people in there still wanting to stay at close.
Located on beach near Birch Park. Kayaks, paddle boards, lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc available on beach for guests. Valets, check in folks, & staff in general excellent. Rooms nice with good layout and generally quiet. Maid service okay- did not clean our room one day, even tho gone during mid day for about 3.5 hours- not really a biggie as rooms well supplied except for coffee. Saw young, middle aged, older, and family's with small children- EVERYBODY looked like having a good time. Two things- one morning fire alarm system tested for about an hour. Very loud speaker- wonder why cannot check b/t check in/checkout vs mid morning. Maybe fire dept controls and hotel does not have a choice. Other thing is somewhat trivial- hotel has very limited TV channels; missed The Walking Dead:( But wife could watch Oscars on other TV. Having 2 TVs a plus, even tho channel access limited.
Beautiful ,quaint ,romantic hotel on the beach. Nostalgic luxury. Our new go to vacation Resort! Bathroom could use some attention to the grout. Little mold here and there. Overall still an excellent place to stay.
The rooms are a bit dates but beautiful, and the location, staff and amenities more than make up for it! Nothing
I absolutely loves this place. Great location, friendly staff, amazing food. And the beds were xtremely comfortable. Parking was a bit expensive. $30/night
I'm surprised there wasn't a pay-toilet! Extra for everything.
Not enough parking.
The room and the pool 24hrs was great The person in the front desk during the morning shift. Poor manners, horrible service, rude and not friendly.
No beach access
I loved the modern up to date look of the rooms and they were clean. The pool was open and clean as well.Staff was super nice I didnt like how it shows on the map before booking that its right on the ocean but its actually not. You have to walk about a mile to get to the public access for the beach or drive and pay to park.
We had a jaccuzzi in our honeymoon suite. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The staff was very friendly and we could use all of the 4 pool areas.
Great location. Nice room. I am happy for big refrigerator. Thsnk you, I had good one night. I miss breakfast there.
Room was well done inside. Good proximity to grocery store. Outside bar was very popular Location wasn't close to any sights/attractions. Wasn't clear how to access beach. Looked more like a motel outside.
Good location. Clear that this hotel from the 1960s or 1970s recently underwent an update which was nicely done. Nicely renovated room, needed a new shower head though. No idea why that wasn't replace when room was updated.
My husband and I booked the honeymoon suite for one night. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi was great! The bed was very comfy. I loved that the premises has multiple pools. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. We had a very enjoyable time here! South Florida water can be a bit weird in a jacuzzi situation, not the hotels fault though!
Location; felt safe as a lone traveler. Friendly staff. Excellent housekeeping staff. No in room coffee maker.
Bathrooms were good and room standards were very acceptable Restaurant seemed a bit Galban hearted and lacked sole - being picky but bar AC was way too cold
The staff were very helpful, the suite was exceptional
great beach did not receive my wake-up call, which was critical in making 6 AM flight.....very unhappy with the hotel
close to the beach
The beach access was wonderful. The bar and restaurant had by far the best service of almost any where I've ever been. No doubt will return.
I loved the pool even though it was not for doing laps. The view from my room was awesome. The food was great and everything was very clean.
You will need a car or fairly long and expensive cab rides to go anywhere fun
The location is the best.
Great location; spacious rooms; kitchen facilities; decent work out facilities. The hotel is showing some wear. Front desk and bell station are not particularly attentive. At check in, the bathroom in the original room was not clean.
Kind staff. Excellent handling of an unusual situation. The room was a bit small. Also the closet is tiny and can only be opened by blocking the TV. No room to store luggage.
The room was very small comparing to other hotels of same category
Close proximity to the beach. We stayed at the change management period to Marenas Resort. The services were not good at all.
It was a beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. We were able to checkin early and the junior suite with the balcony views was wonderful. That the ATM charged US$3.50 to take cash out.
access to ocean construction
Great service, staff, food. Great location. Hidden fees. Mandatory "resort fee" should be part of up front cost, not an "indicental" learn-about-it-upon-checkout fee. Wifi painfully slow.
Lovely hotel, large room although suite was booked. Balcony door did not lock
It was a great location however service and staff were average. No one really went out of their way to be helpful. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am and were not allowed into the room till 3pm. The jacuzzi tub had yellow water coming out of the faucet.
Nice pool area, access to beach; good restaurant/bar; close to lots of activities in Ft. Lauderdale
Location and suite we stayed in The valet parking - over priced and under delivered
The location was great and the rooms were very nice! The wedding we attended was beautiful. I had left a watch by the pool and checked with the front desk to see if anyone had turned it in. They simply said no and sent me on my way. However, when I checked at the pool restaurant, she asked me if the front desk had checked with lost and found. The front desk didn't even bring up lost and found as an option. Luckily, security had received the watch and we were able to get it back.
I had to wait until 6pm to check in
Walking into the resort really felt like home. The staff was friendly and very accomodating and it felt so fancy! I really enjoyed my stay and I always stay at the Hilton when I travel, never disappoints! We had a jetted tub in the room and a view of the beach, the swimming pool overlooked the ocean which was walking distance from the hotel! Our whole experience with the resort was everything we dreamed of. Will definitely return our next trip to Fort Lauderdale!
Beach front and accessible to anything, nice ocean view from the room, clean hotel and it has everything we need. Front desk is horrible specially the person who checked us in. She told me that I will get a text or a phone call when the room is ready but unfortunately no one calls me back not text. I have to call and find out myself to see if our room was ready. Other than that everything was perfect.
Location near the Broadwalk, walking distance to the beach, bed and couch were somewhat comfortable, small kitchen with plates, glasses, and utensils, full fridge You can tell the remodeling work is rushed, outside windows were very dirty, shower heads are crusty and in desperate need of replacing
This is a fantastic location for people who want to be steps from the beach. There were a lot of fun shops and restaurants in the area. The hotel itself was very clean, nicely decorated and comfortable. They have beach chairs and towels for guests to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a $6 a day charge to park a car.
Hit anything on beach or boardwalk with in a minutes time Staff nice but not eager...son says needs better WiFi
Beach chairs and towels included. Very clean and bright, fun colors.
Overall everything was amazing, clean, huge and full equipped room, what's surprised! Close to the beach and very quiet ambient. Pool and bbq are nice too.
I loved the room! Very clean and quiet with a nice modern look. Having the beach and boardwalk so close is a huge bonus. A lot of the shops on the boardwalk were open WAY later than I expected them to be seeing as it was during the week. I will definitely be using this hotel again. The only downfall I came across was the late check in procedure. My plane was delayed 2 hours, so by the time I got to the hotel the office was closed. I was a bit uncomfortable with my room key just being in an envelope in a box where anybody could have grabbed it. (I didn't realize that the office closed at 11pm, but that was my fault for not double checking. I had originally scheduled a late check in, but would have been there before 10 so that conversation never came up.)
the value for the money everything was nice only issue is the tub could have been cleaner
It is an inexpensive place near the beach. You probably save at least $50 over the next cheapest place. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Let's face it you get what you pay for. The price was very good and you were a block away from the sand. The facility is old and showing its age. The rooms very cheaply decorated and the bed was awful. Dehumidifiers in the rooms would go a long way to improve the experience.
I liked that the staff was attentive and it was in a great location. Steps away from restaurant's on the board walk or across the street. And of course minutes away from the beach. They provide free beach chairs and towels so that's a plus. Minor plumbing issues. Staff was attentive. I would suggest you ask for a 2nd floor room.
A real throwback facility, but that's part of the charm. Couldn't ask for a better location in terms of proximity to beach, restaurants and saloons. .
I specifically requested a first floor room near the beach due to the fact that I have two very young children and they went above and beyond a provided my family with the cottage room closest to the boardwalk/beach! I absolutely love this property and my mother and I want to spend at least one weekend a month, if not every other month, at this property!
Free shuttle service to and from ft lauderdale airport . Cheap shuttle to Miami port . Shuttle service to port of Miami was $15.90 pp. in case you're flying on one of the airlines that only fly to ft lauderdale airport. Great value overall . No convenience stores, banks etc. within walking distance .
The man at the front desk was very nice and did not to get ruffled when we didn't have the credit card we used to book the room. The hotel was a little tired, but it was clean.
Location was close to port Everglades for our cruise. They also set up transportation after the cruise back to the airport. Everything went perfect. I would stay again if cruising out of Fort Lauderdale. Out dated
Airport and cruise service was very good. Beds were comfortable. The Food offerings were good ! All in all a good stay ! Needs some renovation but it checked off most of our Needs boxes !
Nice Tiki Bar by the pool. Friendly bartender. Hotel needs some TLC
The rooms were clean, The staff was helpful, The Breakfast was okay, I did not have to wait long for the Airport pick up. The elevator could have been a little cleaner, you accessed it from the courtyard so i guess a lot of sand and grit is carried in directly from the outside,
From the time we called for driver to pick us up to the time we checked out. Everything was done professional with the staff. The breakfast, housekeeping and front desk.
They had a shuttle to pick you up from the airport and they had a bus that would take you to your cruise port which was amazing. Made our trip much better and easier. It was also nice and quiet.
The only reason I gave it a two star is because of the transportation they provided to and from the airport and to the port. Most of the staff is very unfriendly. I was late for the free breakfast so I had to pay, that's not the problem. The problem was the female waitress was rude very unfriendly and unwilling to want to take our order. Once we got ready to pay our total was $14.65 off by a few cents. We gave her a 20, but only came back with $4.00. I complained she went back into the kitchen and brought me another $1.25. Still short..it's disappointing to think that management is proud of running this kind of establishment. Ramada left a very bad taste in my mouth.
so disappointed for the cost. Poor arrangements from the airport-had to keep calling back to Ramada " in 15 min.-in another 15 min" for the motel computers to load so clerk could verify we were registered guests before they would send the shuttle. Rooms were very poor repair with chipping paint and wide gaps around door-air conditioner was LOUD and very dated.
pool area was lovely, food ordered from restaurant was the best I've had in a long time, excellent service from the Australian lady at the Tiki Bar- thank you for your friendliness and kindness.
The room was clean It was far from everything, staff came off a bit rude
