Cons: Toilet stopped working at 11:30pm, called the front desk a few times and let the phone ring a long time. No one picked up. Front desk should be staffed 24/7 in case of emergencies.
Pros: Great location in walking distance of all the town sites and restaurants! Staff was nice and helpful!
Cons: very basic rooms and could be updated a bit.
Pros: The entire place was spotless, even the mini-fridge in the room. It was sold out, but we couldn't hear the neighbors aside from their doors closing. Can't beat the location: it's right in the center of town within walking distance to all the good stuff.
Cons: Skip the breakfast buffet. The food was meh and the server was surly. The front desk staff were friendly, but when I asked them a basic concierge question, they couldn't answer. Our room was in the 'west' building, which pales to the main building.
Pros: I liked the retained history of the area and the hotel. The Berkeley Springs Park behind the hotel is a treasure, well maintained, clean and family friendly.
Cons: Not a lot to do in the immediate area. Restaurant down the street from the hotel was quite enjoyable. No WIFI available in the hotel area.
Pros: Nice town.
Cons: Had dinner in the garden...it took so long to get waited on ( they were not packed) that we switched our order to just ice cream....1-1/2 hours later as we were walking out they came with our order. Ridiculous! We will never eat there again.
Pros: Location, staff and price.
Cons: food in the hotel pub was average.
Great location, friendly staff, nice bar, and great food!!
Pros: The charm or ambiance. Also, very interesting pictures in the hallways, etc.
Pros: Convenient to everything and very friendly staff.
Cons: Bed was not comfortable.
Pros: Location is central. Beautiful lobby in the main building. Artwork on the walls.
Cons: Too expensive for what you received.
Pros: The hotel was very clean and the staff was awesome.
Nice old woodwork throughout, beautiful.
Pros: It was Convenient. The restaurant had a good breakfast. Staff was helpful.
Cons: Spiders in room, a really big one in bathroom sink didn't help me sleep much. Bed was a little hard.
The Country Inn of Berkeley Springs is a great choice for a stay in Berkeley Springs. You can visit the spa to be pampered with deep-tissue massages, detox wraps, or aromatherapy, and The Country Inn, one of 2 restaurants, serves American cuisine and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A bar/lounge and a fitness center are other highlights, and rooms offer flat-screen TVs and refrigerators.
Cons: The hotel does not offer bereavement pricing. When I called to ask after we had booked the hotel, the front desk was very rude. When we went to check in between viewings the hotel clerk at the front desk was on the phone with a personal phone call and I had to stand at the desk waiting for her to finish her conversation before being greeted or helped. The breakfast was horrible.

Cons: Very dated. Not a three star by any stretch. Tiles missing in bathroom, dark paneling, not much light, etc.
Pros: The room and bathroom were IMPECCABLY CLEAN; the grounds were lovely, with large trees and nearby river. While dated, the property has charm; like a time capsule of 1950s America, excepting the color TV. Loved parking just steps outside my room!
Cons: Since this is an older courtyard-style motor hotel'typical of post-WW2 USA, the decor and furnishings are dated. However, my room was extremely clean, and I would stay again for a one-night enroute motel.
Pros: I checked in and checked back out within an hour.
Cons: The room had a chemical odor that irritated my throat; I'm not sure if it was a cleaning product or deodorizer or what but I couldn't deal with it all night. I did not feel safe in the area; it looks like people live in some units.
Cons: I stayed here before, but that was about 10 years ago. I ended up with asthma issues and should have left. There was a strong mildew odor from the carpets and the couch was soured. The door did not latch properly and and I was afraid to eat breakfast.
Pros: The rooms were old school but were very clean and well kept. The whole hotel was definitely a conversation starter. Had a great time.
Cons: The gentleman at check-in was grumpy and rude. Later there was a mixup that he caused but was easily fixed by the hotel manager who was very nice. The lady at checkout was very friendly.
Pros: This is a quaint, family owned hotel with a bit of a quirky design style (i.e there are plants planted in bluejeans in the back yard, plants in a toilet bowl, etc). The room was spacious and nicely appointed.
Cons: There was blood on one of the bath towels in my room.
Pros: the paneling in the room! Very cool ambiance!
Cons: Needed kleenex
Pros: Very nice staffs
Pros: The bed was very comfortable. I could tell the owner tries very hard to make the property unique and fun for guests. The rooms are cute and have a vintage feel. I just prefer a larger hotel and higher star rating.
Cons: The first room they gave us had black goo in the tub, the room they moved us to was cleaner. There is a cat that roams the property and our room smelled a bit like cat urine. I didn't necessarily feel secure in this hotel and will probably not go back.
Cons: The PTAC (air conditioner/ heater kept us up all night. It was just chilly enough that we wanted a little heat. About every 10 minutes it would run for 1 minute and its loud.
Breakfast was ok, but below average.
