Pros: Location is beautiful. The property has not changed since the 60s.
Cons: Nothing. A lot of people won’t like it because it hasn’t been updated. They are in the process of adding on and modernize. Don’t like that.
Pros: Scenic and relaxing setting. Excellent meals offered at Lodge.
Cons: Lodge rooms are a bit dated, but essentials were provided and room was clean and comfy.
Pros: Very friendly, clean, beautiful sights and fairly priced. Great staff at the restaurant, too.
Cons: No refrigerators in room.
Pros: The Restaurant was great. Staff was great.
Cons: The rooms were horrible; old, dirty, none of the activities were available. It was a bust.
Pros: The Lodge is part of the Cacapon State Park. It's old, but is undergoing a major renovation. The park is surrounded by a golf course, and incredible scenery. There is a beautiful lake complete with a beach and diving area. The stables are a short walk from the lodge. They provide incredible trail rides. There are also miles of scenic trails for hiking enthusiasts of all skill levels. The restaurant provides tasty meals, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. When the renovations are complete there will be even more amenities for guests.
Pros: I love the atmosphere. I am a writer and it was a great place to work on my book.
Cons: They are in the middle of adding on to the lodge and it was noisy at times if I wanted to write in my room.
Pros: Friendly people and location.
Cons: Some things in the room are old and in need of some repair. AC plumbing. But they are doing a lot of construction so that is planned for repair it seems.
Cons: A room fridge would be wonderful
Pros: Location and quiet. Staff was friendly
Cons: Under construction. Workers on the roof were 7 feet from the room and could look in on us. Had to keep our drapes closed. Room was extremely small. Bathroom had no counter space to set toiletries down. Rowboats were dirty and slimy.
Pros: Restaurant was excellent. Rooms were clean and television service was good. Common areas were very nice and cozy.
Cons: Rooms were a bit small and dated.
Pros: Bed and pillows were wonderful Restaurant staff were very friendly Staff friendly
Cons: Due to construction it was unappealing. We brought two friends with us this visit and we were unaware of construction beforehand. That being said I look forward to seeing the future renovations
Pros: Staff was friendly...food was really good ... view of the mountains really enjoyable
Cons: Property is currently under construction

Featured amenities include a business center, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and meeting rooms. Pros: The Inn was decorated beautifully and so welcoming. My room was clean and very spacious at an excellent price! It was so convienient to the Mineral Baths, Spa, Pool, Park, and downtown shops & resturants. And the restaurant inside the Inn was excellent not to mention a friendly and accommodating staff throughout! I would definitely recommend this experience to all my friends!
Cons: I know the goal for remodeling, however it would have been nice to know that so many things advertised would be closed due to construction: Star Theatre, Museum, the Old Bath House. There is also a need for an updated website for information on times that things open, example- the pool. We were told 11:00 and it didn’t open until noon
Pros: Location and friendly, helpful staff
Cons: Room decor needs improvemnt, the bathroom towels should be larger and the blankets were old & ripped.
Pros: This was my second stay at The Country Inn of Berkley Springs this summer and it was just as enjoyable and relaxing as my first. I brought my parents with me this time and they also loved the location, hotel amenities, staff friendliness, and lovely Victorian decor. The Inn is clean and well maintained. The location could not be better, as it is located within the state park and just a few feet from the springs. I plan to return!
Pros: Beautiful and close se to everything
Pros: Beautiful & serene atmosphere. The food was delicious. Very comfortable bed.
Cons: The shower was hard to control. It was disturbing to see employees smoking when there was a large sign that said the property was non-smoking.
Pros: The Inn was clean, staff was friendly, and there were a variety of cozy sitting areas. I loved the rocking chairs in the front of the building, the garden seating outside, and the cozy sofas inside. The decor is a lovely quaint Victorian style with great attention to detail. I enjoyed my deep tissue massage which melted away my stress. The location of the Inn is ideal!
Cons: There were no issues with my stay.
Pros: Sophia at front desk gave excellent advice on 5 different hiking locations, when asked. So helpful!
Pros: Location and general level of comfort.
Pros: Courteous, friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful building and grounds. Right next to park and downtown.
Cons: No microwave in room.
Pros: Location is excellent, garden is very nice.
Cons: Shabby hotel, not updated in the last 30 years. Spa is nice, except for the fact that you have to shuttle between floors in the hotel elevator. Artwork throughout hotel is ridiculously outdated.
Pros: Food: Good quality and good value.
Pros: The place is cute, comfortable and full of history. And if that’s not enough take a easy walk to the spa/baths at state park Or downtown. Also, this is a great location to drive from to get to Washington DC, Fredericksburg, Monticello or Gettysburg’s.
Located in Berkeley Springs, Maria's Garden and Inn is just steps from Ice House and 3 minutes by foot from Berkeley Springs State Park. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Breakfast was great for being included in the price of room.
Cons: Ate dinner at the restaurant, waited over an hour for our main course (which was pizza), forgot to bring drinks out, got the toppings for our pizza wrong, and then the pizza was not good at all.
Pros: Excellent breakfast, great location, BEST WATER IN THE WORLD
Pros: Wow ,incredible, fast ,fun ,friendly stuff ,pretty hotel ,we will be back to this hotel ,highly recommended
Pros: FANTASTIC loaded breakfast included - a really delicious belly busting choice of meat lovers omlett. Had 3 days in a roe!
Pros: Staff was friendly and sincere. They were closing the restaurant permanently this Sunday night and therefore had limited food choices, but the food we ordered was good. The room was clean and was cooled upon our arrival. The bed was comfortable. Porch was nice to sit on in the evening.
Cons: No smoke detectors. Only one chair was positioned to watch the TV.
Pros: My 17-year old daughter and I were only able to spend one night, but we both enjoyed our stay. Maria's is located in a great location and walking distance to the state park and all the shops. This was my daughter's first trip to Berkeley Springs, and she loved it. Breakfast was delicious!
Cons: My daughter and I were a little disappointed that there was not a blow dryer in the bathroom. Also, there were no toiletries in the bathroom. There was just a dispenser in the shower with a general cleanser. Thank goodness we brought our own shampoo and conditioner!
Pros: The quirky charm
Cons: The jesus picture over the bed
Pros: The room we stayed in was charming quiet comfortable nothing fancy just right
Cons: Parking was was hard to find near room during day
Pros: The bed was comfortable. Easy to park outside. Coffee available all the time.
Cons: Very disappointing compared to reviews. Aircon very noisy to cool room. Breakfast didn't start until 8 and then we had to wait for twenty minutes until it was cooked. I didn't get everything promised on the order paper.
Pros: Was within walking distance of just about everything.

Pros: The room was very comfortable and the full breakfast was very much appreciated.
Cons: The place was a little harder to find. I don't know what the city policy/ordinances keep the signage low to the ground. I sign higher in the air would have helped me.
Pros: Very good breakfast with lots of choices. Good shower.
Cons: No soap dish. Bathroom door banged open. Better signs directing to the property are needed.
Pros: The breakfast had a great selection and the food was fresh. The pool was warm and clean. Overall the room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very accommodating. Price was great too!
Pros: Mary, the woman who greeted us for check-in, was extremely helpful and polite. She took care of any questions or needs without hesitation. The continental breakfast was also very nice and the pool was very clean.

Cons: No fresh fruit the morning I was there. Cosy
Pros: Could not find anything wrong !

Pros: Hotel staff were very friendly and personable. The hotel was minutes from downtown Berkeley Springs, nestled against a small mountain. The hotel was quiet, the room comfortable and bedding and pillows soft and clean. Bathroom super clean. Had outdoor pool to enjoy. A restaurant right next door you could walk 50 feet. Loved Berkeley Springs State Park, was really cool.

Pros: breakfast was good, lots of choices.
Cons: No complaints,
Cons: There wad blk mold by the shower, they gave us a handicap room. the walls sre thin and could hear everything.

Pros: This hotel is simple but offers heavenly comfort. It's always quiet. The room and furniture are older but the details are always taken care of re: TP, Kleenex, towels, etc. Can't beat it for the price!
Cons: Very good coffee but breakfast was lacking in fresh selection options. Only thing hot were the make-your-own waffles.
Pros: Pleasant and helpful staff at the front desk.
Cons: Sheets were dirty... hadn't been changed. Although we got in rather late, the young man at the front desk was very helpful. He found some clean sheets in the laundry and my wife and I changed them ourselves.
Pros: The hotel was close to the C&O Trail and had a hose where we could wash off our muddy bicycles. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Pros: I absolutely loved the location. Easily accessible to everything in Hancock. The front desk even suggested restaurants to eat in town. The staff were all very kind and helpful.
Cons: A sign on the coffee maker Sunday announcing they were out of coffee filters sorry for the inconvenience. I am a first-thin-in-the-morning coffee drinker and had to run to the local Sheetz for coffee. They could have gone to Sheetz and borrowed coffee filters or the local Save-A-Lot...
Pros: good place to stay a lot near by good staff clean rooms
Cons: location a little tricky
Pros: Staff was very friendly
Pros: Comfortable, quiet, as well as friendly staff who go out of the way to help you. Even when the air conditioning gave up in my room, they immediately offered me a different room rather than trying to offer excuses.
Cons: Despite the reservation they told us that there was no room. We scratched the bottom of our car because the driveway was too steep.
Pros: Clean rooms.
Cons: A miniscule breakfast was offered in a very small room, not very inviting.
Pros: No eggs with their breakfast. Mattress was to soft for me.
Cons: Parking spaces are to close together. In where you come up over the hill with trucks sitting there it's a little close when your in a truck too.
Pros: Friendliness of the staff.
Cons: Uneven floors were disconcerting.
Cons: Everything was fine, quiet, clean. Staff was friendly
Located in Hancock, Hancock Motel is in the mountains, within a 10-minute drive of Ice House and Berkeley Springs State Park. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and laundry facilities. RV/bus/truck parking is available onsite.
Pros: Cute little motel. Old, but maintained. The staff allowed us to store our bikes in a secure location.
Cons: Breakfast, but for the price, we just ate out.
Pros: The place is a little funky in a good way! Room was very clean and well maintained. They catered to cyclists and had a couple nice features (hose to wash bikes and storage). Simple breakfast items were sufficient to get the day started. I’d stay again.
Cons: Couldn’t connect to the WiFi but it wasn’t critical for me so I didn’t mention it to the staff.
Pros: Just a short walk into town
Cons: Front desk person was not very welcoming. Looked like he would rather be somewhere else. A smile could go a long way. Otherwise the property is nice and comfortable. Retro to years gone by.
Cons: Bugs, difficulty with the room key several times... I was told I could keep it too close to my car Fab or phone..... Saturday morning the office wasn't open for the breakfast.
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff and great area (porch) to have morning coffee and breakfast.
Cons: This is not the motel's fault, but it is difficult to get to, especially if one is traveling from Berkeley Springs. It's right on the highway, but a left turn into the site is apparently not allowed.
Cons: The room was too dark.
Pros: Price and proximity to attractions
Cons: Room was freezing when we arrived, had to use wall heater set to blast to warm up the room. None of the wall switches worked, there was no heat in the bathroom.
Pros: Loved our unexpected stay very much. Even though our vechicle was having issues the staff made our stay enjoyable.
Cons: Everything was excellent staff was extremely polite.
Pros: The price was good, the rooms were clean, and there was a washer and dryer available.
Cons: I feel like the picture is deceiving. You do not stay in the house that they show. That is their house and office. They rooms are in the back you can see them if you look closely. The owners were not very hospitable. We were biking the Great Allegheny trail so we were on bicycles. They provided storage, however we were not able to get our bikes until 7:00 we were told. Actually ended up being 7:15 before I could get them. When riding in the summer you need to get going before the heat gets you. It seemed we inconvenienced the gentleman to get our bicycles.
Pros: Like the quaintness. Enjoyed the cats! Bed is extremely comfortable.
Cons: TV reception was horrendous!! About 6 channels and the one chann that we watched started to break up yesterday.
Cons: Sheets had holes and stains ugh
Pros: Great location, nice outdoor decor.
Cons: Front desk isn't always staffed.
