Enjoy your visit to Barrie with a stay at Forks In The Trail Bed and Breakfast. Guests can take a dip in the outdoor pool and indulge in spa services. Other highlights include a health club, a spa tub, and a sauna.
Pros: Water taps were backwards, toilet was loose, disappointing !
Stone Gate Inn puts you just a 5-minute drive from Orillia Opera House. You can relax at the spa tub, work out at the fitness center, or unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge. An indoor pool and a poolside bar are offered, and rooms have conveniences like kitchenettes and sofa beds.

Pros: Great location for Golf, Horseshoe pit, Pool, Board Games can be signed out/borrowed during stay, EXCELLENT STAFF
Cons: The BBQ area fills up fast and groups travelling together tend to hang out there for long periods of time after cooking their food (understandably though since picnic tables there - better than going back indoors and cramming a group into someone's room)
Pros: Very large room, playground, staff was very friendly and accomodating. They brought us up a playpen and high chair.
Pros: We keep coming back to Carriage Ridge because it is a great spot to enjoy the outdoors and the 1 bdrm suite is really comfortable with all the amenities of home. We enjoy having a full kitchen in the unit and the use of the common area bbq's.
Pros: Close to skiing
Cons: Tried to sell me a timesharePool way over crowed . Poor wifi
Pros: Quit, nice people,no pets
Cons: Only one housekeeping per week? No Bar and Restaurant in the Resort
For the cost in mid-September (not peak season), there is room for improvement at this hotel. More catering to mountain bikers is recommended, and cheaper options for late check-out when a mountain bike event is being held at horseshoe valley would be needed before I would return.
Pros: Size of room (we used the 1 bedroom suite); availability of storage room for bikes)
Cons: Lighting in vestibule of room was poor (bulb was dead, no natural light); mold in shower stall; check-in took long time (big line up, few staff); had to drive to horseshoe bike trails (should instead have a connecting trail so no car needed).Noisy fridge.
Pros: This is an amazing place to stay with your family. It's like your own little apartment and the pool is awesome for the kids!
Cons: If you have 2 children and a baby your have to upgrade to a bigger room and the price difference is huge! It was two hundred dollars more to bring all three children with us.

Pros: Thank you so much to the manager, front desk staff, and the limo driver for making our stay at Rama wonderful! Upon arrival just prior to 3 pm check in, we were treated to freshly baked cookies in the lobby! After an almost five hour drive, it was such a great welcome. We asked for and received a king size room on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the bathrooms are dated in the hotel and are in need of updating, but they were clean. We really lived the limo driver and service to and from Casino Rama. She was lovely to talk with. And for $8 a drive (not per person, but car load), it was a great way to get front door service to both the hotel and casino!
Pros: Enjoyed our stay start to finish. Accomodations and amenities were clean and lovely. The star of the show however was the unmatched customer service from the entire staff.
We will absolutely return and recommend Days Inn Orillia.
Pros: When going to Rama for a concert this hotel Rocks,a very short walk to the venue, friendly staff and an exceptionally clean and comfortable room for a very competitive rate.Just remember to book way in advance.

Pros: Cafeteria available for limited hours during our stay saved running into town for everything
Cons: The bed was like sleeping on a table. We added all the extra bedding we could find to make it just bearable.
Pros: We were looking for somewhere to sleep at a reasonable price and this place delivered. It was safe and spotless. No frills but was exactly what we needed. Would not hesitate to stay there again or recommend to friends.

Pros: Nice lobby area, soon they are getting an elevator although it wasn't opened yet when we visited, nice amenities in room, spacious bathroom, complimentary bottle of water.
Cons: Had to wait to both check in and heck out while staff members handled internal basis as we waited. Staff not very friendly, not rude but just did the basic job (after we waited). Not having an elevator.
Cons: Book a King Bed and got a Queen
Pros: room layout was perfect no hanging lights to hit the head on, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, coffee maker and fridge were supplied in the room, very friendly staff, easy to find location close to fast food, shopping and gas stations. peaceful and quiet.
Cons: the beds were a bit harder than we are used to but clean, 2 thick pillows and 2 thin ones would have been more comfy.bathroom exhaust fan could be much stronger, the transition from hall to bathroom floor trips you.
Pros: Loved the pool and hot tub. Good location. Staff were quiet but friendly when approached.
Cons: Omg!! You have GOT to get rid of that room spray. I felt a migraine come on within 1 minute of being in the room. we opened the window and had the fan on, to no avail. 4 hours with your odour neutralizer and it was bearable. Brutal!!!
Pros: Clean, modern, good location.
Cons: Price could be cheaper but hey it was a long weekend.
Pros: Very clean, nice room. Fridge, microwave and coffee machine in room. Staff very friendly.
Cons: Can be a bit irritating if people are talking loud in the hall. Can not hear from room to room though
Pros: It was clean and the beds were nice to sleep in.
Cons: The TV sucked (we were going to rent a movie-just had basic cable) Constantly heard other rooms toilets flushing at night, the bathtub tap dripped constantly (no conserving water here!) and the bathroom sink wouldnt drain.
Cons: It was Sir John A's Birthday - a bit crowded and loud in the restaurant. However food was amazing. They put a coffee maker in room - but no coffee
Pros: Staff was very courteous. Room service was wonderful.
Cons: The actual food from the restaurant wasn't all that great.
Pros: Proximity to highway. A complimentary make up remover was left for use, which was a lovely surprise. The coffee, that we made in our room was very good. Teh restaurant attached to the motel had a very good and reasonably priced breakfast.
Cons: The price was really out of line for the quality of the hotel. any conversations in the hallways were heard in our room. The toilets were not cleaned in the bathroom.
Cons: It was overpriced and a 2 star at best. Bedding was dirty. There was sand or grit and hair bits in the sheets. No answer at front desk, had to go myself to find someone to get clean bedding. Do not recommend and will never go back

Pros: Everything seemed new and well kept. Breakfast was awesome.
Cons: Beds were a little hard, I prefer pillow top mattresses. Internet went down and didn't come back up till the next day.
Pros: It was newly renovated so everything was fresh, modern & attractive. The free breakfast was very nice-cinnamon buns were the best! There was a little box so you could take one for the road if you were full. I loved the fridge, micro and countertop area.
Cons: No. The pool was a little small but still nice to have. Only 21 people were allowed in the pool and around the deck, so it could get very crowded very fast, but we had the pool and hottub to ourselves.
Pros: The staff were all so nice, even when I had to come back to reactivate my room card 3 times!
Cons: It's too bad that the pool was closed for renovations. I didn't get any advance notice about this.
Pros: Breakfast was great. Microwave and fridge in the room was convenient.
Pros: close to shopping and entertainment
Cons: very nosisy but it was a long weekend and l guess kids were just being kids
Cons: Children running up and down the hall, loud talking in hallway, smell of bacon very early in the morning enthawled the room.
Pros: Very spacious rooms, proximal to numerous restaurants and stores
Cons: No negatives
This was the best continental breakfast included in our price, it was a full buffet breakfast. Staff was very friendly, and helpfull. Rooms were very comfortable, and clean, able of free parking. I would recommend this hotel
Pros: We like the location of this hotel, and that its a newer hotel
Cons: They were having problems with the tv channels. So we couldn't even check the weather in the morning, and clock radio was not working properly.

Pros: Front staff were friendly and accommodating, Kitchen and housekeeping always did an impeccable job! Great location - close to everything.
Cons: Just a suggestion: for those staying more than a couple of days, it would be nice to change up the style of eggs to scrambled with bacon :p Also, would be nice to have a ramp in front of the main doors where it can be more visible and accessible, instead of off to the side where parking can block the ramp.
Pros: Great value for the money

Pros: The Hotel and Staff were very good, and helpful to the patrons. but the Event Staff was not prepared for the rain with the concerts. The shows for at least 2 of the acts were cut short, and one didn't have time to do a proper sound check. The Acts still brought their A+ games and gave excellent shows. they should be invited back, well comped, And honestly apologized to. A few of us fans for Motion Device traveled long distances to see and support the band. Most of us drove 6+ hrs. We weren't disappointed by the band. We felt for them and what they had to deal with. Their Professionalism came through with Flying Colors!
With ski-in/ski-out access, Horseshoe Resort allows you more time for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing. Cons: Under going renovation, but that can't be avoided
Cons: We had kids banging on our doors, patio and hall wall. They also were running up and down the hall and sat right in front of our door. From 7am -10:30am. Which is horrible when you get in from the Christmas party at 4am !!! The room itself needed to have a good wipe down. When we where getting ready to leave the next day, we noticed in spots on the headboard where it looked like people had rested there oily head.
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: We booked this hotel because of the hot tub but we weren't able to use it because it was out of order. Also, the weekend we stayed there was a large group there as well that stayed up all night long being very loud.

Pros: Book room 105 it was fine. Had a fridge and microwave and coffee maker . More than I expected for the price.
Cons: No cold water for sink but I just used the tub faucet no big deal. It was 60 bucks with tax. There was a great fish restaurant at the end of the street and a Tim Hortons and there was a park across the street. Ithought it was supreme value for the cost
Bed was comfy

Cons: my room seemed rather cool. probably wouldn't be an issue in a month or two.

Pros: The room was excellent, lots of space and very eco-friendly messages regarding housekeeping, towels etc. Loved the continental breakfast, great variety!!
Cons: Would have liked to have an indoor pool, but really enjoyed the large hottub/sauna area

Pros: very convenient.
Cons: A little highway noise.
Pros: Clean pool
Cons: Breakfast that comes included is brutal
Pros: Arrangements were very kindly made to store our bicycles indoors. We found the staff welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our 4 day stay.
Cons: There was excessive noise in the hallway late one night, clearly a lack of consideration by other guests rather than a failing of the hotel. Annoying nevertheless!
