I liked the easy access to Heathrow. The staff was friendly even though I felt somewhat rushed. The bed was comfortable enough.
My room was very small. The bathroom light didn't work properly. The toilet was not very clean.
Bed was clean and comfy, air con in the room
Small tv ( personal preference ) the breakfast was either toast or cereal, shower was a little run down and had mould on the tiles and not powerful enough for my liking
The location was good and the room was clean. Three out of the four lights didn't work and there were wires hanging out of a wall socket. The loo seat was broken. The walls seemed to be paper thin and it was very noisy. Breakfast was OK, but the croissants were verging on the stale.
The electrics need sorting out. A new toilet seat isn't hard to do. The noise issues need addressing.
The breakfast was a very basic continental breakfast and done on a serve yourself basis - no staff on duty -, orange juice, 2 types of cereal,, cold croissants, bread for toasting plus butter and jam, large flasks for coffee and tea. That's unsurprising for the price, but it might put some people off. My bed was very comfortable and the hotel itself was quiet. I chatted at length to a Polish-Tanzanian staff member who was really friendly, and all by itself that made my overnight stay special.
It had a down at heel feel to it and my single room obviously hadn't been decorated for about the last thirty years, or hadn't been decorated professionally. The dining room and indeed the reception area and corridors were similarly down at heel. It's not really the kind of place that would appeal to families.. The vehicles in the car park suggested that it would appeal more to manual workers spending a night or two away from home.
