The MOST ARROGANT INDIVIDUAL IVE HAD TO DEAL WITH. THE HERTZ AGENT AT MARION ILL AIRPORT SHOULD BE FIRED. paid confirmed reservation and no car. No email to advise me before I left my destination for Marion ill. Kayak needs to survey the companies it seals with for credibility. I have lost all confidence in Kayak over the massive blunder and will look for more competent booking agentsReviewed May 13 2022

Picking up the car was no problem. The car was clean and in good shape. The Hertz desk is right near the gate. Very convenient. The only issue I had was returning the car on Sunday. I had an early flight out of Marion on Sunday morning. The Hertz office wasn't open then. To return the car, they had me complete the form and put it in the drop box. That wasn't a problem. The annoyance was there weren't any places in the Hertz lot to park my returned vehicle. Otherwise, no problems. They did charge me extra for a Monday return, even though I returned it on Sunday.Reviewed Apr 25 2022

Cons:I had prepaid for a rental car two weeks in advance, and there was an additional $200 down payment that I was not aware of. I reviewed my rental agreement and did not see any mention of this. Also, they downgraded the car that I had prepaid for without notifying me.Reviewed May 30 2019

TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!!!Pros:Went to pick up vehicle after calling the location to confirm what was needed and ended up leaving with NO CAR even though it was paid for in FULL prior to pickup....APPALLED. Was left stranded for vacation!!!Reviewed Jun 4 2018

Great rental experiencePros:The guys at the Williamson County Airport Hertz office couldn't have been nicer. I had paid for a full-size car, but they didn't have one available, so I had a free upgrade to an SUV. This office is only 10 minutes from my house. Pros:Rent and protection is cheaper when book through KayakCons:Twice more expensive when book directly at the office for extension. Live at next town from Hertz office, so we have to pay for taxi to pick up and drop off, as much as two days rent because Hertz doesn't give pick up drop off costumers from the city next to Hertz office.Reviewed May 30 2017
