Our reservation was not available and I did not get a car the day I needed one. I spent three hours running around between two Hertz locations and on the phone with Hertz and Priceline. No one could help. I ended up with a smaller car and paid a higher rate at the counter. It is impossible to get someone from Hertz on the phone. When I finally connected with customer service, I was told there is something wrong with the reservation because it came from a third party site. Hertz would not honor the price I reserved through Kayak, did not have a car for me, and really didn’t care what that meant for our family vacation.Reviewed Jun 15 2022
