Pros:Cheapest car available, pickup was easy, car was clean.
Cons:On return of the car, the facility was suppose to close at noon, I told them I would be there at noon to drop it off (even has it written on my paperwork). I arrive at 11:30 AM and the office is closed and the parking lot gate is locked. There was no instructions on what to do with the car. I called customer service but there was no answer. I drove to another Hertz facility (luckily there was one close), told them what happened (it was still before noon at this point) and asked what to do. They were at least professional and took care of it for me, so I still made my flight. The closed facility could have at least left a message on the gate with instructions for returns since they were closing early, or even better, CALL ME TO LET ME KNOW.
Pros:The car was comfortable and in good shape.

Pros:Some of the staff at the counter were very helpful.
Cons:I rented a compact car because it was supposed to accommodate 5 passengers. Simply put, it did not. We had 3 senior citizens, 2 of which were in the 140 - 150 pound category or less and 3 people could not fit comfortably in the back. The location did very kindly change to car but upper management needs to look at their classifications a little closer. Other than that, everything else was fine.
Cons:They called me the night before my trip to cancel and tell me they didn’t have a car for me. I had to Uber everywhere this trip and spent more than I wanted to. I was very upset.

There was nothing to like. They did not have a car for me. I want my money back.
Cons:Car was not ready. Had to wait for cleaning despite reserved well in advance. Came back later to add additional insurance for potential weather forecast and had to return car and negotiate a new rental agreement. Decided not to spend the exorbitant increase in a renegotiated rental contract. Glad I didn`t. Will not rent from Hertz again because of this experience.
Even after loading the trip from the Hertz app, Hertz did not track my Gold status because the reservation was booked through a third party. No miles credit, no class upgrade, and no speedy gold pickup. Hertz Gold benefits should happen regardless of how I book.
