Pros. Really decent for such a low price. Really big bed and comfortable, A/C was just how I liked it. For me being a teen they actually had a channel that I liked. No bugs in the room, no roaches, nothing. It was decent but not the best hotel around. But definitely a cheap hotel to go to especially if you don't want to sleep with bed bugs or creatures in your room For one night we only paid $48.25. The first hotel I went to that didn't have porn channels. Thank god.
Cons. Towels had stains, bed cover had holes, bathroom needed improvement. Room was non-smoking but smelled like someone was smoking in there.
Pros. In a world where cheap motels are $100/night, when you find one for $48 you expect disaster; squalor. When i opened the door on the room for the first time my jaw hit the floor. The pergo wood floor. The first thing that struck me was the long, sleek design. It was a very large room with a lot of space at the entry. A very large orange accent wall and opposing orange accent wall stretched down past the king size bed, flatscreen tv, fridge, and microwave to a mirror, hanging over an EXTREMELY kitschy 60s built in table and leather booth. The bathroom and separate mirror/sink behind were standard motel. The cool, crisp air instantly struck relief, thanks to the digital air conditioner visibly set to 66°. This very large, comfortable, clean room left me wondering why anyone would ever pay for a luxury suite. I highly recommend this motel to anyone.
Cons. There is one Directv™ satellite for 100+ rooms, resulting in very poor picture quality for thr television, however we were able to watch a couple of movies and it was tolerable. It was 90° at night but the pool was closed. The gate was still closed at 12 noon when i went down. I was told it would be opened in about ten minutes. In such extreme weather, sn early morning swim or nightswimming would be heavenly. There is no lifeguard anyway, so... why not let it be unlocked? The door was a little hard to open.
Pros. For a cheap motel, it wasn't entirely awful. The rooms were clean and there was a microwave/fridge. Nice shower.
Cons. I would not recommend the pool, it smells weird. Pretty sure all of their licenses to operate they had in the front office were expired. Right next to a "Cabaret" which I didn't know before hand (aka titty bar) so that definitely has an impact on the hotel population. They can probably fix the hotel up a bit, make it much nicer if they tried, but it looked like they were very under-staffed. Would not take my kids there again, but if I needed someplace cheap to stay for myself I wouldn't mind. I've seen much worse.
